Had a lovely dinner at Good choice if you by the sea! I unfortunately have some dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating and kind providing the alternative options and solutions to have a great meal!! I tried the crab sunomono salad which was super refreshing and delicious as well as the five piece nigiri and tuna sashimi! The quality was fantastic, and I will definitely be back!

The sushi was amazing out of this world right there with the best I've ever had. The staff was friendly and we were enjoying ourselves so much. We didn't realize that they had already should've closed and didn't say a word. We're patient and let us finish our evening 10 out of 10 stars for this place.

I was staying at a hotel next to this spot and wanted to give it a try. For a sushi joint with ocean front... i had low expectations but this spot caught me off guard. Great service and their quality was by far the best compared to any sushi joint with a view. Definitely recommend and ill definitely be back every time i am stay close by!

Stopped in for a roll or two and ended up enjoying a few items from the happy hour menu and a roll. The location is right across from the ocean, and there is parking behind the restaurant. Look for surf center to pull into and you will find the restaurant towards the middle of the center We tried from the happy hour menus, the Salmon special, Poke Tacos and the Ahi tots, with another Kabuki RollThe service was great, our server was friendly and knew the menu well. The kitchen chefs were so fast. Every thing arrived fresh and fast Great spot to try while visiting

What a surprise to find this in the Surf Center! Our hotel desk clerk told us about the bar next door but he didn't mention the Sushi place - we stumbled on it by accident (thanks Yelp!) and wandered over on a Sunday night. Inviting place, super nice servers, and the food was grrrrreat. I enjoyed it very much and will be back my next time through Dana Point.

Came in with a party of 4. Initially we were seated outside but it got quite cold so they offered us an indoor table. Service was great. I have celiacs disease and cannot have any gluten. I asked to substitute the tempura shrimp inside of the Kabuki roll for regular cooked shrimp. They were more than happy to comply. My server even brought me gluten free soy sauce after that without me needing to ask! The food was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We got baked scallops for the table which were also great. We misread the hours and thought they closed at 8:30, not realizing they had closed at 8PM. We realized they were closed at 8:20. Even around 8:10 pm and 8:15 they were still checking on us, asking if we'd like dessert or refills of our drinks. The servers were all so nice. I live two hours away and will absolutely be coming back!
