Spicy pork stew has big bones with lots of tender juicy meat on it to slurp up. A bit tricky to eat but delicious. 5*

Spicy Beef Noodle soup was very good.I liked how very at home it made me feel while also the side dishes were very fresh. This place seems more known for their pork back soup but I was more in the mood for beef so I opted for the spicy beef soup. The texture of the beef was fall apart and the meat was well seasoned. The broth was very tasty with lots of depth.

Twice I've tried coming here and honestly they don't know how to seat people. A couple (two people) moved from a table for two to a table for four. Therefore my party of four had to wait even longer. The waiters came out to ask us how many in our party.... What do you mean?? I just came in 15 minutes ago telling you!Anyways, after waiting 45 minutes, we were finally seated. We ordered the small goat stew and seafood pancake. That was the tastiest seafood pancake I've ever had. I like that they serve purple rice here- my son's favorite! The goat stew was tasty. The small size can definitely feed 3-4 people! The banchan was good- seaweed, radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, potato salad, and bean sprouts. It was good but if you're not part of that first round, expect to wait a while. This is more of a "eat slowly and chit chat" kind of restaurant.

I came by because I happened to be in the area and had been craving goat soup so badly. For some reason, the LA spots that serve it aren't open on Sundays T_TThe soup was underwhelming. Didn't taste very deep or have any perilla seed taste. I also found the dipping sauce to be underwhelming. Again, no perilla seeds :( They also gave me THE smallest bowl of rice ever. Lucky for them we were planning on getting fried rice after so we didn't say anything but wth?! I would have been pissed if I wasn't.I can't speak for their gamjatang but I definitely won't come back for their goat soup again.

Service was great but the pork soup I got had no meat all bones. I do recommend this place for customers that likes to chew on bones. Or if they have a pet that they could give all the bones to at home.

a small mom n pop shop that makes you feel at home and just at ease when eating such comfort food. If you are looking for flavorful and affordable food, this is the spot to go. my friends ordered the pork bone soup and they said it was rich in flavor. We also tried the seafood pancake, Bulgogi, and banchan and everything was just amazing. I wish there was just a tad bit less oil but everything was splendid. The service was kind, sweet, and attentive to detail. Recommend coming here for some good food that makes you feel warm

Solid gamjatang. My kids like their clam noodles (just white flour knife cut noodles in a savory clam broth with a bunch of clams in the soup). Their portions are huge so order accordingly!

We ordered the gamjatang (pork bone broth) and it was so delicious! A bit spicy, but very flavorful. You can ask them to make fried rice afterwards or order a side of noodles. We also had their mulnengmyun (cold broth noodles) and it was very refreshing with a homemade taste. Service was just ok and I wish they turned up the air conditioning because it was stuffy in there. But the food was legit!

Located in a small shopping plaza, Gam Ja Tang is a little shop offering a small selection of Korean favorites, with their stews/casseroles being their most popular dishes.Gave them a visit because my mom was craving pork neck stew.We ordered their Spicy Pork Casserole, Black Goat Casserole, Marinated Bulgogi, and Clam Noodle Soup. Everything was delicious but their Black Goat Casserole was VERY gamy if you dont like goat. I was not expecting the flavor of the soup to be that gamy but it definitely overpowered the dish. Only order the Black Goat if you love that taste.

Meatiest Gamjatang I've ever had. Usually have to pick at bones to get the meat, but more meat than bones here. Lunch special at 16.99 ain't too bad for what we got. One could easily share between two people.
