Filos Gelato

Amazing gelato from a second generation Italian Gelato Master. He made a wedding cake formy daughter, and then we ordered gelato for 60 for a birthday party. Mango/Peach-- so light and refreshing, and Chocolate Brownie--oh my!! Big hunks of brownie in it. Thanks Filos

Delicious ice cream made by really nice people! This is my 3rd time ordering for myself and the family and we love it! They even deliver in HB! So far my favorite flavors are peanut butter cup, pistachio, and sea salt! $8 for each! Highly recommend checking them out on Facebook and placing an order!

All I can say is wow!!! Ok maybe a few more words... like Quality.... and Authentic....and wow!!!! I never thought I would become this person but I think it's time to officially admit it... I'm a gelato snob now because I am ruined for all other gelatos. It's like when you taste an elite coffee and you can no longer drink a burnt Starbucks. This is not your regular gelato that you might have after a sandwich at a local jack of all trades eatery. This is life changing, handcrafted artisanal gelato made by a genuine Italian gelato master! Apples to Oranges.I'm just going to go ahead and say it, I don't think I have ever had gelato until this week. And quite frankly unless you have had Filo's then likely neither have you.  This is the kind of dessert you order and hide away in the freezer until the children have gone to bed so that after you tuck them in you can briskly walk to the freezer and let it sit for 8 mins. I can confidently say that I've never had such a combination of texture and flavor in any dessert. And neither will my children because I'm selfish like that muahahha.They offer traditional gelato, vegan gelato (non dairy, made with oat milk) and fruit gelato. Tons of choices for me and my husband who already has his favorites. I can see that this is going to be a debate next time we order. Try some new flavors or keep enjoying creamy pistachio perfection and rich hazelnut espresso?In addition to the next level product, the owners happen to be genuine, caring and hard working people. This is the passion project of a husband and wife team who are importing their already successful recipes from several gelato shops in Italy. Yes Americans, you are tasting real culture every time you take a bite of Filos. A taste you just do not find this side of the Atlantic. They have recently made their way to California and are totally changing the way people think about gelato. I innocently learned about Filos through mutual friends and now I may need to set aside monthly cash for my newfound gelato habit. I guess that's how every addiction gets started.

Amazingly delicious and light mango peach gelato cake I ordered for my nephew's birthday. So good my niece and other nephew want me to order from here for their upcoming birthdays.

Found Filo through a fb group. Bc of the rain, I had to postpone my daughter's birthday party. So I needed an extra cake. I called and Filo came to the rescue. Texted me the menu and he delivered it himself to my home. I got a strawberry gelato cake and it's just absolutely beautiful!! It tasted so rich and like fresh strawberries! The graham cracker crust bottom is just perfect-my fav part!We also got a pint of pure espresso and pistachio gelato-amazing! OC what a gift to have them here and we need to support them!

We tried Filos Gelato for the first time and pick Peanut Butter Cup, Dark Chocolate and Cherry, Coconut Cream and Chocolate Brownie.Amazing........a dollar more then store bought ice cream but much richer in taste and quality. Great couple that has passion for this artisanal type of work. The Dark Chocolate & Cherries is my favorite, not too sweet, just the right chocolate bitterness and hints of tart cherries. Can't wait to try all the flavors. During these crazy times, try and support this local company and treat yourself to some amazing dessert.

Filos gelato is amazing! Truly as good as the gelato in Italy! You can get these delicious flavors at skylight gardens in Westwood! Filippo is a gelato artist! Try his flavors the Piedmont hazelnut will knock your sock off!A+

There are not enough stars for Filos! The owners are so accommodating and create the MOST delicious gelato you've ever tired. Tasting this stuff makes you realize that you've never really had "gelato" before. It's pure perfection. A little goes a long way....I bought 8 pints and so far I've tasted the strawberry and the honey/lavender. They will deliver it right to your door, personally, making this a fantastic gift. My husband ran inside with his bag, smiling from ear to ear, saying "some real Italian guy just dropped off gelato!" He was more excited than a little kid hearing the ice cream truck music from down the street. Give them a try - you will not be disappointed!

This is not the time to give any business a bad rating; I know. But I have to be honest and say this was the worst frozen dessert I have ever had. The pictures are very misleading and the actual "gelato" was grainy and icy. I didn't enjoy the flavor at all either. I don't think these guys should continue to advertise their "Artisanal Gelato" or sell it for $9 a pint when it's of significantly lower in quality than even store bought ice cream.

The gelato is amazing g and they have a lot to choose from. But the only way to get it is to order it and have it delivered, there is no storefront :(
