it's the most romantic place I've been.it was warm up outside in a cold evening, was very nice!Food is delicious, desert is unbelievable and of course wine, perfect the end of our silver marriage celebration!!! Came here for my birthday with a 7pm reservation. We were seated right away and brought waters, but then sat and waited. It took a bit of time before our waitress came for our drink orders, and even longer before we got them... when one was just a glass of wine. We placed our orders and again waited... the salad and bread came out and both were great! The fig butter for the light fluffy bread was a perfect combination and the fig salad was perfectly dressed and a great creative mix of fruit and veggies! At this point we were ready for our mains... again the wait. When our food came I liked the chicken but the risotto was undercooked and kind of dry. I commented to my husband that I make better creamier risotto than this. My husband felt the same about his meal, the meat was good but the pasta was overcooked and he said the sauce didn't have much flavor. We were both a little let down. We skipped on dessert since we weren't sure if it would be good or not, plus at this point we were their almost 2 hrs and were ready to leave. We ended up grabbing thrifty ice cream on our way home to satisfy our sweet tooth.It's a cute place with a nice patio, but maybe just a lunch spot where you enjoy the salad and bread and move on.

Five stars plus a few more! We absolutely loved our experience at fig 313 tonight . The grilled octopus was delicious . But it was my fig salad with green apples and walnuts that really sealed the deal for me. It was so flavorful with hazelnuts. It was delicious delightful light and bright. I could've eaten an entire bowl of the salad it was that good. We enjoyed the beef bourgaon , linguine and clams all the dishes were delicious. Our waiter, Mike , was just on point for everything such a great experience. I really love the lighting in this restaurant very sexy. They have an incredible outdoor patio which we did not utilize because we were a little chilly. We will be back when it's a little warmer to sit outside because it's so cute inside is equally adorable.Street parking there's some lots. They also have a little space in the adjacent church. Really great food .

I absolutely love the experience here from Mike our waiter from start to finish this experience has been so amazing. I got the filet mignon (highly recommend) and my husband got the braised ribs and I gotta say mine where better than his I choice for starters we got the olive tapenade and it was great and the final was the must chocolate cake was so delivered I will order again. But let's not forget a shout out to Mike who made this night the best experience ever! This is one of san Clemente's finest restaurants... give it a go.

Took my family to Fig because of the beautiful Guest Chef dinner my dad and I experienced back in December. This time we and got the meatballs, beef bourguignon, scallops, and salmon dish! Everything was so delicious, staff were kind and attentive, and ambiance was intimate and cozy. Highly recommend! We will be coming back!

Beautiful location. We ate outside. Pros: great food, nice seating area with warmers for cool nights, absolutely delicious food--get the house meatballs, and the fig butter cake. Service very friendly as well. Cons: timing off, sat next to noisy kitchen area where they drop off dirty dishes. Great place to visit and recommend it just for food. Note: park at the church and take a short walk over. It'll save you time.

Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended for the weekend since the place can get busy. There were some items that had fig in it, so we ordered the olive fig tapenade, fig wagyu burger, and fig old fashion drink. We expected more items to have fig in it because of the restaurant name. Food was delicious and the truffle fries arrived hot with a slight crispy just the way I like them. Everything was great except for the slow service. Note: If you order a cocktail it looked like they made the drinks beforehand, so you don't see them make it fresh.

This was some of the best food I had been given in quite some time. Chef Cameron made some of the best Scallops I have ever been given. The Beef Bourguignon was so flavorful and savory, it dripped with passion. Please give this small, craft place a chance; they won't disappoint and make the best date or drinks night a night to remember.
