El Mariachi Bar & Grill

Prior to coming here, I've noticed a lot of recent negative reviews. But for us, that wasn't the case. I had made a reservation a few days prior through Instagram (which was fairly easy to do) for Mother's Day. I do recommend getting there EARLY to get the best table possible. And to make yourself present, that way you get the BEST service possible...For being a super packed house our server was on it! The food and drinks came out in less than 15mins. Mind you, for Mother's Day they did have a set menu for $50 per person with 5 items to choose from. We were all satisfied with our plates. BUT, I did notice some other tables were waiting on their food and drinks a bit longer. But I think that was because they arrived LATE. Overall, band was great, food was good, and the drinks could be better (Bartender was a very friendly guy though). Great spot for special occasions.

It's Saturday night my mother's birthday so we decided to come here called several times to make reservations no answer decided to just go completely dark think this place might have shit it's doors for good.

Came here on Cinco de mayo for dinner and a show! The margaritas I felt were pretty weak and watered down. My dinner, however, was really good! I got the chicken enchiladas ($22). The prices here are a little more expensive than a typical Mexican restaurant but you are also getting a show - so I kept that in mind. The show was great. I've never been to a mariachi show before. It was a crowded house and everyone was enjoying the music and dancing. There was a lady coming by taking group photos of each table and selling these pictures to you later. I definitely made a bargain with her buying like 7-8 pictures for the whole table....so don't feel bad if you're low balling her lol. They had multiple copies all printed out so what are they going to do when you say no to the pictures...throw them away!? Would come back again to bring friends and family to see the show and music. Had a great time.

I came here for an event with a large group (Orange County Hispanic Youth Chamber of Commerce). This place was a great location to host the event - with a stage, sound system & fun ambiance. The staff was amazing - as they managed to keep food coming out hot & fresh. I enjoyed my enchiladas (which came highly recommended). It's a good place to host an event.

Just left this place and in a hurry! Worst costumer service and food mediocre and over price. They gave you your drinks and food and forget about you. They miss up your order. Don't Oder the guacamole cause they don't give chips . Bring your own bottle of water cause you will be choking and don't come and check on you. So they surely miss people from ordering more drinks. If you do go just head to the bar Also I didComplain and they didn't apologize. didn't wait forMy bill cause that will be a extra hour. SoI just went up and ask ACIOD!

Food wasn't good at all. It's overpriced I guess because of the Mariachi show.I only went there for the Mariachi show but was disappointed because they were late and played like 20 minutes.The Mariachi was really good but the restaurant and food not.The service was good.

I was recommended this restaurant for its mariachi. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I was a bit hesitant to take my husband here for his birthday. I am happy I did. The food was good. I had the shrimp in salsa habanero with mango. The rest of our party enjoyed their food too. The staff was very nice. They even brought a Sombrero out for my husband. We did get there 2 hours before the mariachi played FYI mariachi starts at 8:30 pm. Although we missed it, we still had a good time. Because we brought kids, it ended up being a good thing they didn't experience the mariachi since it would have been too loud for then. We will be going back without the kiddos. Overall, it was a great experience.

Went here to celebrate my friends bday. Loved the Mariachi band, folklorico dance and DJ. The band recognizes all celebrations and even sings mañanitas to the bday people. It gets pretty packed so make reservations. Great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely go here again!

Device was ok and the mariachi and singer were very entertaining. The place loses points in the food scene. You know a Mexican restaurant will be bad if the chips and salsa they serve from the start are bad, and this place was exactly that. At the end of the day, this is a restaurant, so I would expect it to have good tasting food, however, the menu was lacking and the food they do serve tastes fresh out of a can. Overall I only recommend coming here for the ambiance. Drinks are mid and are still the only thing worth your money. Prices for food range from $17 for a Cesar salad to $35+ for a full meat combo. In my opinion it is overpriced for the very low quality food. I left $30 poorer (just for my food) and still hungry because I couldn't even eat my enchiladas.

Great food, excellent mariachis. This place has a great atmosphere for the whole family. Consuelo is the best.
