Best Mexican restaurant in Tustin. Beyond happy I gave this restaurant a 2nd chance after finding out (on Yelp) that they are under new management. There's a reason why every single review in the last 12 months (since new management has taken over) has remained at a consistent 5 stars. The food is 12/10! Real flavor much like homemade Mexican food. Their Molé Platillo was the best mole I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant. I love this new and improved El Buen Sabor :-) Luis is very welcoming and the sweetest host and server.

OMG this place has great food I am so glad I stopped in, there enchiladas are wonderful and the tacos are delicious... but definitely recommend this place

Very good service and food !Ordered the veggie burrito and a couple veggie tacos ( vegetarians here) .Both were excellent. Will definitely return.

Genuine home style cooking, ordered the mole plate and shrimp burrito....did not disappoint as both dishes packed with flavor, this will be my new local go-to for Mexican food.

We recently visited this lovely restaurant. Family owned and ran authentic Mexican. Food service was outstanding. Pricing was good and the ambience was quaint. we were looking for a authentic Mexican food restaurant and we finally found it. Looking forward to going back.

Great mom and pop! Made to order and ingredients taste fresh! Can't wait to come back and try something else. Very nice family own.

I would say this place is really good especially being a mom and pop shop. The food tastes really fresh because they make your food on the spot. Which is even better. The service is really friendly, I met the dad and son who were really nice and asking me about the food. If they need to change anything and I said no. I had the Chicharrón nachos which were the bomb. I would recommend this place to anyone that what's a homemade meal. I will be coming back for sure.

Excellent food and service, I also need a nap for sure after having a delicious caldo de albondigas. I'll be back for sure.

El Buen Sabor is truly a hidden gem in Tustin. Under new ownership for the past year, the restaurant has been completely revamped with a new menu, new cooks, and a fresh new look. Disregard the older reviews there associated with the past owners. Having visited twice, I can confidently say this place has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Each time, I had their chicken torta with cucumber lemonade. The torta's bread was perfectly toasted--crisp on the outside yet soft and airy inside. It cradled a generous portion of tender, marinated chicken that was succulent and bursting with flavor, complemented by fresh avocado, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a tangy, homemade sauce. The cucumber lemonade was refreshing and perfectly balanced, a delightful palate cleanser that paired wonderfully with the rich flavors of the torta.The birria tacos were also a true highlight. The fresh, warm tortillas were filled with tender, juicy beef that practically melted in your mouth. The meat was richly seasoned and slow-cooked to perfection, creating an explosion of flavors with each bite. I literally crave their food when I'm at work. El Buen Sabor is easily the best Mexican restaurant in OC, and I'm so glad I discovered this place. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine, this is the spot to visit.
