Never really been to Downtown Fullerton but made the trek out on a Sunday afternoon for a mini UYE. It seems like a nice area, with the colleges nearby and a lot of places bustling with students at coffee shops and restaurants. It was hot on the day I went, and the shops and restaurants seemed limited on parking, but there were lots if you k ow where to look. I got lucky with street parking. I would not mind coming back to explore more of DTF when I have a chance. I did fall in love with a cute little boba shop while I was here! I will be visiting again for sure!

Every Sunday at 6pm there is an Outdoor Open Mic that I (Zero Rimpson) host on Walk On Wilshire. If you have a performance based art (Singing, Rapping, Stand up, Poetry, ect.) you should stop by and share. The Businesses around are all very supportive and nice with allowing us to express ourselves and work out our arts, Not to mention, great food you can get from the surrounding restaurants. It's an overall good time.

Fullerton has a very nice downtown area, full of historic buildings, one of a kind shops and restaurants, museums, no chains here, or no big ones. There's a big student population in the area, so it's a cool place, hip, with an active nigh life, bars, coffee-shops. It's also near a Metrolink/Amtrak stop, so it makes it for a cool day trip from LA. I enjoyed strolling around the area, with wide avenues full of tress in bloom, cute side streets full of interesting stores, having coffee at the Dripp, dinner at Kentro (many cool choices for restaurants and coffee shops), discovering the area. There's a cool bookstore, fun dessert places, it's cute, cozy, easy to conquer on foot. This is the home of Leo Fender (inventor of the electric guitar), so they have a cool exhibit dedicated to him at the Fullerton Museum Center (nice place to check out). The Muckenthaler Center is another cool spot in the area.Easy going, laid back area, fun to explore, safe, cute. Definitely worth the trip from LA!

I've lived in Fullerton all my life (almost 25 years), so I can speak up about his place.Growing up, I would just always pass by this downtown area not knowing what's around, but the past couple of years, i've been going to all these restaurants, bar hopping, and now I even work in this area!Lots of things to do, including great food (different variety as well!), lots of bars (depending on what environment you want), and great little venues that host some live music from upcoming stars. There's also vintage stores, comic book stores, and a retro arcade spot as well. This place is great for people of all ages, whether you're with your family, with a significant other, or with just friends. One thing to keep in mind: If you're coming on a Friday/Saturday night to come bar hopping, please make sure you have a DD or take an Uber/Lyft. This place is crawling with cops, as the Fullerton Police Department is only a couple blocks away. Don't do anything stupid. Please. I've seen it all.Well, enjoy your time and take a walk around!

What an adorable area! I can't wait to come back here and explore it more. Plenty of little shops, and a ton of restaurants and coffee shops. There was plenty of parking too, which is usually an issue with downtown areas. It isn't too far from CSUF either, so it's a very convenient location!

Such a fun place to visit and check out new restaurants. It has a cozy, welcoming feel. I wish it were more pedestrian-friendly - the Walk on Wilshire is my favorite area but I wish there were more like it. I love so many stores here, it's hard to pick just one. The busker Zero is awesome as well. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Fullerton make a stop downtown, grab a bite to eat, visit a boutique, attend a festival, and enjoy one of the best parts of the city!
