Hahaha! I can't believe that these jumbo smoked turkey legs in Disneyland has its own yelp page. I also learned that it's on google, too. It just confirms how popular this Disneyland staple is! I admit I only was able to try it just recently cuz I never was a fan of turkey. My friend though who I went it in my recent Disneyland trip, has always been a fan. She joined the line of people to buy one. Due to its enormous size, she shared it with me. So my verdict? It was really good! It has the perfect combination of savory and smoky, with a crispy outer layer and tender, juicy meat inside. I'm hooked!

If you happen to be in Disneyland in the morning and you need a breakfast option, the Turkey Leg Cart near Big Thunder Mountain is certainly an option. Is it the most amazing option? No, but its solid none the less and can fill you enough during the breakfast hours. I believe they stop selling their breakfast chimichangas at 11 am or when they run out. You can see them from afar in their heat warmer containers wrapped in foil. I was able to snag one during the morning and they asked if I wanted salsa. Salsa is an extra $1 (or $1.50?) and I was a bit shocked...BUT if you do get this, GET THE SALSA. Its probably one of the best parts of the breakfast chimichangas. The chimichanga itself has eggs and sausage inside. The tortilla is a big soggy and its not overly filled with stuffing. Its also around $7 and has gotten smaller over the years looking at pictures. Its starting to get to a point where its not worth it, but unfortunately it still remains one of the cheaper options for breakfast. I've tried it once and now I know that I dont need to try it again. I'll just make sure to bring my own food next time or eat ahead of time for breakfast.

(Overall: 45% | F) - Being another trending option, I had to try this large turkey leg myself for only $12. Unfortunately, this turkey leg was so salty and one-dimensional to the point of being hard to swallow. While the meat is tender, it is served in a way that is particularly difficult to eat. I would avoid this turkey leg at all costs because oh boy was it so dreadful.IG: @amei.eats

Any Disney trip won't be complete if you haven't experience indulging yourself with the turkey leg binge. I'm not so much of a turkey fan but my son loves to get this leg every time he visits Disneyland. The big leg was so flavorful and worth the $12.Today my grandson enjoyed his first turkey leg and was worth the trip.

Disclosure: review is NOT for the Turkey leg. But rather for the chimichanga (mainly) and the pineapple spear. The chimichanga was a disappointment... I could've sworn my first time was quite remarkable... but that might have also been when I was very young with an underdeveloped palate. As of today, the chimichanga I had was 2.5/5. There was too much tortilla and the crust was really burnt. The ratio of filling to tortilla was just off in every bite. The filling also lacked flavor-- all I taste is refried beans. You can probably trick your vegan/vegetarian friends into think this is vegan. Or was it?? I really can't tell because I only tasted refried beans... The pineapple spear hit the spot! It was sweet and so juicy. It costed $3.50, which is ridiculous! But when I look at the tiny bag of chips for $3.50, I am glad I made the "healthier" and sweeter choice. Tip (if you do end up getting something here): grab a spot to enjoy your food where Mark Twain is. It's a nice view overlooking to Tom Sawyer island. You also get to wave to all the passengers on Mark Twain.

I tried the regular turkey leg. When I was there, there was the option of a BBQ version. Turkey leg portion size is huge and is enough to feed 2 people. The first few bites are 5 stars, but there are a lot of tendons and dark dry meat near the bone. I ate only half the turkey legs as it is difficult to eat the rest of the meal. However, I'm giving this 4 out 5 stars because it is difficult to find pure protein for $14 that can feed two people. I also think it is a fun novelty to try at least once.

What is there to say? It's a huge Turkey leg...the size of your head!If you ordered one you know exactly why you ordered one...you saw a bunch of people walking around eating one. It's exactly what it looks like...a very huge and tasty Turkey leg 5/5. You can't go wrong!Just make sure to grab a bunch of napkins because you'll need a bath after eating this thing, you have been warned.

Humongous Turkey legs. Well I saw folks eating these. Some were even walking with these clutched in their hands with the paper wrapping; walking, talking, taking in the sights, pushing strollers, and intermittently munching. I suppose you see enough of this, it is free advertising. The images, of those Turkey legs, stuck with me. Subliminal advertising. So I bought one from the food cart near Frontierland. The cart also sold chimichanga. But I had eyes only for the Turkey leg. It was $13. Steep. It was wrapped in a paper food wrapper in a thicker lined paper bag. Don't be in such a hurry, like I was, to take that sucker out of the bag. It is juicy and dripping in juices. And it is hot. You don't want hot juices splashing about, trust me. The leg was huge but there is a bone and a lot of large thin horizontal inedible thin cartilage strands throughout. I was able to eat the whole leg by myself. I shocked myself, must have been hungry. The Turkey is smoked. The meat has a deep smoky flavor, it was juicy. Of course I took the photo opps with it. Hammed it up for the camera. But during and after I ate it, I realized I would rather be eating something else especially at that price point which is steep even for Disney pricing. But it was convenient since Hungry Bear and other eateries were closed. It is extremely messy eating it though. The cart doesn't provide hand wipes or utensils.

The chimichanga was a bit more plain than I would've liked. It needed cheese and salsa. But it hit the spot after eating sugar all morning; nice to get some protein.
