DeSimone Deli & Bakery

Definitely our go to place for sub sandwiches. Been going there for years, and always liked the food and the people that work there. For me a good sub starts with the bread. They make their own and it reminds me of the old Italian bakery we used to go to when I was a kid.

Despite recommendations from the internet about the sandwiches at this place, I was utterly disappointed. I had placed an order so that my friends and I could try a variety of the sandwiches: The Cuban, Chef's Special, and Italian Sub, but they were all just disappointments. The bread was dry, and while the meats were generous in the sandwiches, the flavors and texture didn't work for me. I ended up throwing most of the order away sadly since it was hard to stomach.I asked for pickles to be placed on the side instead of inside one of the sandwiches, and then I didn't realize there was a $0.50 charge for pickles to be put on the side...I don't know if I just went on an off day, but I am too scared to go back and try this place again anyhow. There is plenty of parking, since the shop shares a parking space with Smart & Final. Customer service was great, and it's why I am giving this a 2-star instead of 1. The individual helping me was very patient when assisting me. But all around, my friends and I were disappointed that this sandwich shop is not for us.

What a pleasant surprise this little place is! Small sandwich shop that packs a punch. Not much room inside but there are some tables outside to sit but would recommend calling in your order. Staff is super friendly and very helpful and their menu items are incredible. I went with the pastrami and cheese with pickles and peppers, and boy oh boy.. not only did itv taste great but talk about getting full and having dinner for later. Can't wait to go back to try their other sandwich options. Oh and that bread!

Truly a local favorite! Near and far, people visit DeSimone for high quality food and amazing service! Thank you so much to Elena and Jordon for always being the best! The inside is spacious and the ambiance is beautiful! They have wall art that gives LA family home vibes. Born as raised a Laker baby, I love the wall art! Personally, I am not a sandwich fan but any time someone mentions DeSimone's sandwiches I'm all for it! Their bread is always fresh and each sandwich is prepared with care! My personal favorite is the Cuban (no modifications needed!) even if you don't normally enjoy pickles or mustard, this sandwich will have you think otherwise! Also, I'm a fan of their baked goods (made fresh daily with care as well). My friends are big advocates for their Banana Fosters Bread Pudding! The perfect amount of sweet and a delicious dessert after eating their sandwich. Family owned and ran. They truly treat every customer as their own loved ones and it's heartwarming. Love this place and I always come back!

So good!!! Big subs for a great price!! The lemon cake is to die for too! We got the 8 inch subs and honestly the size is perfect and filling! Also great customer service.. Definitely will return.

The best Deli sammiches in Orange County. All the food is top notch quality. The bread baked at De Simone's is Amazing. This Family owned business makes the customers feel like Family. My go to sammiches are the Capicola sammich and the fresh baked turkey sammich. Check out De Simone's. It will become your favorite Italian deli & bakery.

**March 2024: Weekday Afternoon Visit**I've visited DeSimones on 4 or 5 occasions for both take-out and catering and really enjoyed their sandos. I personally always call in my order and pick the Italian 8 inch. When I come in I'm always greeted with a smile and friendly service. The bread on the sando is so good and all the ingredients inside are always perfectly balanced. On one of my catering orders I ordered a 40 assorted sandwich tray and everyone enjoyed them. I'd be happy to order them for future parties as well.

First time here and we had the meatball sandwich. Taste so good, make you wanna slap your momma!

I had the pulled pork sandwich and a house made bread and it was the most unbelievable sandwich I've had in years I would recommend this place for lunch, deli, meats, or pastries. The restaurant is very small. You will sit outside or you can take out. The service is always with a smile laughter and make you feel at home here you will enjoy this I promise projoe1950

Sandwich is so good bread so fresh. Guys taking order very friendly and helpful. Really recommend this spot.
