We recently tried Red wine blend from Defalco Family Wines and it was a real delight! The rich taste with notes of ripe berries, a slight hint of spices and a pleasant oak aftertaste conquered us from the first sip.The wine is amazingly balanced! It feels like this is not just wine, but the result of love and skill of winemakers.This is now my favorite among Californian wines.I highly recommend it to all connoisseurs of quality red wine!

DeFalco Family Wines and Foods is a cute wine tasting experience and Italian market. They have their own grapes in Paso, and their wines won 10 awards. Have you ever had bubbly bubbly Chardonnay or bubbly rose? I didn't think so! These wines are unique and delicious. No additives and virtually sulfite free. You get to taste wine with Gus, the winemaker himself. Don't even get me started with the food. It's to die for! 5th generation recipes can't go wrong. I made my own pizza at home using all of their ingredients, and it was delicious! DeFalco foods is my new go-to for wine and food. The people there are so nice! Service is impeccable. I will definitely be returning

I randomly found this place on Yelp as I was searching for wine tasting spots in the OC. Husband & I have been here twice bc all the wines they serve were good! Our favorite is their champagne especially the rose champagne. Gus, the owner was super hospitable & he makes the wine tasting such a fun experience! He's very passionate about wine & explains every detail about each one he serves. He also served us complimentary cheese, charcuterie, & crackers. His place also sells Italian goods such as pasta, sauces, frozen goods, baked cookies, & ofc wine bottles to take home. You won't regret checking this place out if you're a Wino. Sadly, they only open on Saturdays from 11-4pm.

I purchased a groupon several months ago which expired in mid April as I wanted to know if we had to schedule a reservation and if they do tastings any other days of the week. Unfortunately, they are only open on Saturdays, BUT I was speaking to the owner (Gus) & he said no problem, just come in whenever it is convenient for you (when they're open, of course) and I'll honor it. So cool! This past Saturday was that day, so my BFF and I went to redeem it. Tucked away in a little business park, we circled around a 2nd time before we located it; however, there are signs posted on the sidewalk lawn indicating that it is an Italian deli/store. Upon entering, it is a tiny store with pre-made meals along with other dry Italian goods, such as pasta, jarred sauces, cookies, and bottled wines. The owner's wife was handling the front and I told her about the groupon and she promptly took down the number and had me redeem it and guided us to the tasting room in back. In there was a huge table with some other tasters (family style) and they were very nice people. Gus was very hospitable and efficient with the pourings and we also got some complimentary (dried) breadsticks, sausage, cheese, and crackers to compliment our tastings. Last (but not least), we were offered a special purchase of any three bottles of wine (regularly prices 25.00 for white, 35.00 for red), any three dry pastas, any three jarred pasta sauces, and any three pkgs of Italian cookies all for 125.00! Of course, we took advantage of this bargain and I look forward to making their pastas (wine is already consumed lol).

I walked in, not knowing what to expect. I was greeted immediately. I looked at food in the freezer and cookies. Then, I ventured into the wine tasting area. The wine room was beautifully painted with bricks, pictures & keg. It immediately transports you to the feeling of being in a vineyard. It is a good size room but is warm & friendly.Not only do you get to taste wine, but you also get some of this history of that wine. Gus is friendly & a great host. As people entered the room, they were invited to sit & taste. While you are tasting the different wines, you are given a nice plate of cheese & crackers.I bought some different frozen food items & cookies. They also have a variety of pastas & sauces. I brought home lasagna rolls not sure what to expect. Oh, was it delicious! Looking forward to getting more things! The cookies tasted as if they were from a good bakery.The icing on the cake is I got an email thanking me for visiting them! I will be going back (hrs Sat 11-4)I highly recommend you drop by for some wonderful food & wine!

We loved the white blend and the red blend. The sweet sausages were a perfect pairing with their mushroom raviolis in their artichoke sauce. And for dessert, the limoncello tiramisu was delicious! Not too sweet. It was great to you meet you and would highly recommend folks to check this place out.

Awesome place to get Italian food, sauce, desserts & catered food. It's sort of like a small Italian market & they also have wine tasting. They have a cute small room in the back that is perfect for a wine tasting birthday party. Friendly staff. Great service. We definitely will come back.

5 star experience!! My husband and I did a wine tasting today at "De Falco Family Food & Wines" in Fountain Valley. It was SO much fun, and we both really loved the wines. We also took advantage of their food market. Owner & Operator, GUS made the tasting session so fun & informative, and Anastasia coordinated everything with the best customer service! Awesome to go meals from chicken cacciatore, pizza, dough, tiramisu, meatballs, Italian sauces, etc and wine tasting all in one place. I came across Defalco's last Saturday. And I'm glad I did as I had their chicken cacciatore tonight and it was mouthwatering delicious. I love that this small business is in our corner of Orange County.

We picked up ingredients for pizza night and they were amazing. The pizza sauce is so flavourful as well as the pepperoni, pizza dough and shredded cheese. The tiramisu is not to be missed! Authentic taste and delicious!
