Da Rae serves the best galbi I have ever had in my life! The flavors are simply unforgettable, and I find myself craving it every single week. The short ribs are incredibly juicy, perfectly tender, and effortlessly fall off the bone with each bite. The marinade strikes the ideal balance of savory and sweet, enhancing the rich, smoky char from the grill. Every bite is packed with deep, mouthwatering flavor that keeps me coming back for more.If you're looking for top-tier LA Galbi, Da Rae is an absolute must-visit!

I ate here about 4 years ago. I never thought of leaving a review, but yelp decided to recommend this place to me for its value for the dollar, and i couldn't disagree more, so here i am.I had their galbi bean paste soup. I paid $20 for a bland soup with half the veggies that other places serve anf 2 pieces of thumb-sized meat. It was the worst meal I've had to pay for in maybe a decade.I'm giving 1 extra star considering it wasn't long after the pandemic shutdown. But regardless of the state of business, that filth was not something you should dare serve a paying customer. If that was your best effort at the given time, you should have shut down the business, because obviously you were in no state to run it.

This place has been in my radar, I finally visited with my family. At first sight, looks very small, and maybe even questionable, but.. you know what they say, never judge a book by its cover. Located in a semi hidden location surrounded by larger businesses and Target, easily could be missed. There is plenty of parking in front and in the surrounding area. I read plenty of reviews about the bad costumer service, we did not experience that at all. We were seated, greeted and give menus almost immediately. Came in as a large party and we were treated like everyone else. The food was good, it came our pipping hot and freshly made. My favorite Korean dish is Bibimbap, very simple nothing crazy but the crispy rice is my absolute favorite. My food was so hot that I had to wait a few minutes to eat, which was perfect because I was able to try all the fixing first. I then was too excited that it cooled I forgot to take a picture before eating.. ha. Overall we all had a great experience and enjoyed coming here.

Seems to be a very authentic Korean restaurant! I ordered the kimchi soup and the flavors were very deep and pronounced. I loved it! The veggies that came with the ssambap also looked very fresh and I loved the variety. The staff are also very friendly. There is a parking lot as well so no need to worry about parking. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for some traditional Korean dishes!

Arrived around 6pm and tables started filling. We got the Galbi+nangmyeon combo and yukdaejang. They brought out a complimentary carrot and onion pancake and sides came out soon after. Portions were decent and food was delicious. Side dishes are refillable and are authentic! Definitely making this my go-to spot, can't beat the $13-$15 ALL-DAY SPECIALS!

This is my go to place in the north Orange County area. We've eaten here many times, but their to go package is so good that we prefer to do that as we like to let other people use their facilities. I love their bossam, it is soooooooo ffffffffantaatically good! My wife loves their sullungtang, which is pretty good, but my go to is the bossam, oh and their k-pancake is also super solid.

We were craving "soup" during a chilly winter night. Yelp suggested a nearby Korean Tofu Soup. The Da Rae BBQ Restaurant is not well lite in the late hours. The small restaurant is located behind another Japanese restaurant and wedge between car wash express. The restaurant is very cramped and establishment hasn't be updated for some time so looks outdated. There are approximately 8 tables accommodating small family or groups.Being 1.5 hours before closing, we were quickly seated, orders taken and food came out fairly soon. The only complaint was two items were missed and we had to remind the owner. Ironically, those were "bbq" items. haha! The banchans (complementary side dishes) were good. The kimchi and cucumbers were the best. We ordered a side of japchae (cold glass noodles) and it was disappointing. The tofu combo soup is delicious and flavorful. There are option for spice level so amp it up if you can handle the heat. Overall, the service is good. The owner is very cordial. I will certainly return to support this mom and pop shop.

Whenever I crave for Gamja-tang (Korean Pork and Potato Stew,) this is the place I always come without thinking since they do it right. And, it helps that they are close to where I live. Their food might not be pungent and strong like other Korean restaurant but I can assure you that it means they don't use any chemical condiment such as MSG. As always, the servers are very quick and nice. Before they put down the boiling pot in front of me, they make sure that I understand that it is VERY hot. They also move the dishes aside for a spot. I do appreciate their "heads-up" because you do get so caught up eating their tasty banchans (side dishes) and forget that there is a super hot pot that is about to land in front of you.The restaurant is always clean and organized so well. It may not be a fancy and big restaurant but it makes your heart and soul filled with love and care.
