Excellent food. Waitresses friendly and accommodating. The koobideh was the best. Oh their greek salad was extremely fresh and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend. Wish they offered grilled onions with their kabobs., though.

Crown Valley Market is a quaint little shop that, while a bit on the smaller side, has some unique offerings worth mentioning. However, I must say that my overall experience was a mix of highs and lows.Let's start with the highlight: the freshly made Sangak bread. I can't recommend it enough! This traditional Persian flatbread is made right on-site and is indeed to die for. The texture is perfect--crispy on the outside with a soft, warm, and slightly chewy interior. It pairs wonderfully with so many dishes and is worth making a trip for if you're craving fresh bread. If you happen to be in the area, do yourself a favor and pick some up; you won't regret it!That being said, when it comes to the rest of the offerings at Crown Valley Market, there's definitely room for improvement. The prices for produce and meats are pretty standard, and honestly, I found it hard to justify driving out of my way for items that I could easily find at larger grocery stores for similar or better deals. In fact, I was hoping to snag some great bargains, especially on meats, but I was disappointed to find that there weren't any significant offers. If you're local or simply passing through, definitely stop in for the Sangak, but perhaps keep your expectations in check for the rest of the offerings. Overall, while I appreciate the charm of this small market, I wish they had more competitive pricing and variety to make it a go-to destination beyond that delicious bread!

Love this market. Don't have to go far to find all the items I want and cheap produce too. Some of the things I go here for:Huge Variety of lavash and other flatbreadsPistachio NougatPomegranate MolassesDate MolassesOrange Blossom WaterSpicesEggplants, fresh herbs, zucchini, fennel, Feta CheeseFrozen Fava BeansIt's a little bit chaotic inside and the aisles are a little tight, but they've packed everything you need into here. Cashiers are always friendly and get you out without a hitch.

My experience has been mixed. On the one hand I enjoy the many fruit and vegetable offerings and have purchased many at low prices. The staff have always been friendly and the cashiers very honest. On the other hand, the aisles can be quite crowded and hard to maneuver even a small cart, especially on the fruit and vegetable sections. Perhaps having more of the smaller carts would help. Although much of the produce items are fresh, some are not and they spoil quickly.

Evey time i go there in the grocery section i am overcharged by a lot at the checkout counter. Today happened again to my mom... the .33 per pound tangerine, i ended up paying 2.99 and was rang up as Budda S Hand Lemon....Lots of seniors shop there and its not nice stealing their money.

I really had more expectations for this store. I don't live in MV but Super Irvine closed & I believe they are now relocated here. Super Irvine was a mostly persian grocery store. It was nicely laid out but my goodness the parking lot was a NIGHTMARE ! The spots were small & it was always difficult to find a spot.Well Crown Valley Market isn't that much different. This fairly large sized store also has a teeny parking lot. I ventured here on a Friday afternoon & really only 2 spots were available ! I couldn't imagine coming here on a weekend when it would be much busier. The aisles are small & the selection wasn't that great. I guess I was expecting more Persian items that are harder to find. It's also annoying when there's multiple people in the aisle since they are small & it's just not a fun shopping experience. I did see a sign for a Persian restaurant which I didn't check out. The produce section was the busiest & it seemed very crammed back there. I have seen larger produce sections at different stores. I was not impressed. The meat section was surprisingly quiet, & not chaotic. However the space is very crammed back there so I would hate to be there when it's busy. All the meats are halal I believe. I would not come back here. I could only see myself being a regular shopper if I lived in the area. But really it's not worth the trip.

I would like to take the time to thank Wanna orJuana from Bahaar bakery who helped me with my nephews birthday cake she did an amazing job. I was worried because the baker was on vacation, but she did a better job than the pastry chef. I really would like for Juana to be recognized for her customer service, and amazing baking skills.

They are rude, and cheat you at the checkout counter. If you go there, check your receipt thoroughly. We drove a long distance yesterday to go to this market as I like their meat department. However at the checkout stand the cashier told me to pay $236 for my groceries and that amount seemed much more than what I had in my basket. I quickly scanned the receipt and immediately I saw a couple of items that were not part of my shopping. After finding a store clerk and going through his rude attitude, I asked him to run my items again. The total was $81 less than the original receipt. It is really sad that this market takes advantage of their customers.
