After finding out our favorite crepe spot on 2nd closed, my boyfriend and I found this place in hopes to replace our favorite spot. We went last Sunday for lunch.Be prepared to drive around looking for an open spot, since this is downtown they do not have their own lot. We finally get to the door and there is a line with 5 parties ahead of us. You pretty much get in line and wait to be seated, they didn't take names like other places do. Felt like we were waiting forever and the line didn't budge so went inside to order for take out. I ordered the Parisienne crepe which was disappointing for me. The crepe itself was dry and a little tough , not sure if it was because it's buckwheat. the flavor of the inside was good but dry on outside. He ordered the marocaine and said his was good, I think it helped that his crepe has sauce smothered on top. We would like to give this place another try and dine in there and try something else.

Triple Bookmark it!!!!A solid 10 star Breakfast spot in the heart of Long Beach. There is a parking structure very close by.The service was amazing! The food was amazing! The atmosphere was sooo cute and French-y. This was the only restaurant that I have been to which is very environment-friendly when it comes to utensiles and food containers which was amazing since I HATE anything plastic!!!!If you are ever in Long Beach and you are hungry for delicious brunch and amazing tasting coffees, stop by here!!!!

Food was extremely mid at best. My husband found a hair in this crepe which is absolutely awful. Also their bathroom is disgusting & not kept up at all. I ended up taking my daughter back to our hotel to use their clean facilities. Our waitress was not attentive & I guess maybe in the city of Long Beach they don't offer water for the tables? We also had to ask twice to get our table cleaned.I asked for a dirty chai & it just tasted like a watered down espresso. I literally don't understand how this place was even busy. My crepe was barely edible, I was so hungry & we aren't familiar with any of the restaurants around here but I kind of wish we had gone to a chain restaurant instead of this place. Don't waste your time or money here, wouldn't even have my worst enemy eat here.

My husband and I had lunch here today. Gotye (Sp?) served us. I had the healthy breakfast and my husband had the Salmon Benedict. Both were very satisfying. I tried the Chestnut Butter Latte with Walnut whip cream. It was smooth, creamy and nutty. I was in the mood for something warm, cozy and comforting. That latte nailed my craving. Gotye was very personable and attentive to my foodie questions. There are so many menu options. We will be back to try other food off their menu. We plan on bringing family here when they come to town. The only complaint I may have is the music in the back (in the kitchen) was upbeat Latin music which interfered with the front ambiance with Christmas music. My sensitivity to multiple sounds causes me to get anxious. It was hard to block out because of the volume.

Why have I never eaten here before?! The food is amazingly delicious, the ambience is like being in a sleepy little jazz club... a real chill vibe. The service was exceptional. Came for lunch today, but I will be back to try their the breakfast and dinner menus.

Came here for breakfast/lunch one morning and it was a pretty good experience. Let's dive in...Ambiance - The ambiance in this restaurant is French themed, with some photos and art on the wall that add to the vibe. There is a decent seating area which could accommodate small or large groups. Food - I ordered a hash breakfast bowl with spicy lamb sausage and it was quite tasty. It contained some yummy potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, onions, and probably a couple other veggies I'm forgetting. It also had two eggs (sunny side up), and the spicy lamb sausage all mixed in. It was quite good.Service - The people who worked there were attentive and friendly. No complaints here. Overall, we had a good brunch and if I lived in the area I'd definitely consider eating there again. For those who have gluten sensitivities, they had a lot of crepes using buckwheat flour so this may be a popular spot for the GF folks.

The cafe was cute, and located in a neighbourhood with some studios and local shops. The only thing that seemed weird was that I ordered a make-it-yourself crepe with cookie butter and apples, and they didn't cook the fruit; does anyone really want a crepe with raw apples? I'd try it again, but I'd choose something off the menu.
