I wanted to check this place out since everyone raves about it and i wanted to see if the hype is real. Trust!! The hype is real!!Malika was our server and she took very good care of us. We were even given a nacho plate, compliments of Malika!! My daughter and I ordered the beef rib platter and tri tip platter. Both were delicious!!We had asked if the loaded baked potato came w bacon. Yes it did, but it was beef bacon. Malika had explained to us that all their meats are halal meats and they don't do pork there (which suits me since I don't eat pork). The beef ribs were meaty, and the tri tip was delicious and tender. The loaded baked potato was stuffed w brisket and we got a side of the beef bacon. My favorite was the brussel sprouts... flavorful and very enjoyable!! The corn bread was also very good. It paired well w our food. Overall,we enjoyed our visit at Craft by Smoke and Fire. Service was excellent, food was amazing, and ambiance was warm and inviting, w real candlelight candles, creating a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back and highly recommend!!!

I have been a loyal customer of your Anaheim location for many years. I have not only enjoyed dining at your restaurant but have also introduced many friends, family members, and colleagues to your establishment. However, my recent visit on March 1st, 2025, at 7:45 PM, which I booked through OpenTable, was the most disappointing experience I have ever had at your restaurant.I brought some new friends who had never been to your restaurant before, expecting the same great experience I've always had. Unfortunately, from the moment we were seated, our experience was far from satisfactory.Lack of Attentiveness: After being seated, our server came by once to greet us but then seemed to completely ignore our table. We were ready to order for over 10 minutes, and despite waving multiple times, she continued to serve other tables without acknowledging us.Incorrect Order Timing: When the server finally took our order, I specifically requested that our appetizers be served first, followed by the entrées. Instead, all the food arrived at the same time, which was not what we requested.Food Quality Issue: One of my friends ordered tacos, but one taco was entirely fat with almost no meat, making it inedible.Poor Execution of Birthday Celebration: I had noted in our OpenTable reservation and informed the server that we were celebrating a birthday. However, instead of waiting until we had finished our meal, the server brought out the birthday cake while we were still eating, mid-bite, and lit the candle. This was not only unexpected but also felt rushed and inconsiderate. Who brings out a birthday cake in the middle of dinner? It felt as though we were being hurried out of the restaurant.This experience was completely unacceptable and far from the high standards I have come to expect from your restaurant. I am extremely disappointed, especially as I had brought new guests who were looking forward to trying your food and service.I would appreciate it if management could look into this matter and address these service issues. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but I would like to hear from you regarding how you plan to improve this experience for future guests.

A few weeks back a group of my friends met for dinner. Sadly, there appeared to be very few staff working, tending to multiple areas and doing double, if not triple duty. Despite their stresses and running around, the staff working that day did their very best to make our stay enjoyable. We do not blame our experience on the staff that was working, but it is up to the owners and managers to adjust to the demand. If the hostess is also busing tables they weren't able to help the take away orders and new customers coming in, the bartender was making a lot of drinks while serving multiple tables, people dining and dashing, or walking out. It wasn't fair to those working. As we were leaving the manager on site made a comment that it had not been that busy and he didn't plan for that many customers to come in and he acknowledged they were understaffed, yet that was the first time in about 2 hours we had seen him. Luckily the food was pretty good and those workers deserved a bonus. That should not be a regular occurance, but sadly I think it is. Been seeing it too many times at multiple restaurants lately.

Came to craft before a game at the Honda center and it was busy with others attending! It was a good atmosphere. We started with cheese curds and then had the ribs and tri tip bahn mi. The cheese curds were good, brought me back to the Midwest! The ribs were nice and tender but they were over salted. The pickled onions were also seasoned with salt and pepper and it was just too much. The tri tip bahn mi had the right idea. Unfortunately The meat was a little tough. All the pickled veggies were really good though.

Overall I enjoyed my time here! We came in around 10 pm and the place was pretty empty.Service was great! Any time we didn't like something it was switched, or if we had a questions they were promptly answered. We didn't care for the mashed potatoes they were extremely garlicky! Also the GM checked on me since i ordered the vegan oyster burbank they had. He wanted me honest opinion since he never tried it. I genuinely didn't like it. I know it's been on the menu since the conception of the restaurant and I wish they would change it and try something else or elevate it. The coleslaw made the bun soggy and the mushrooms itself tasted like cardboard or styrofoam. He was nice enough to bring me some garlic aioli which did help. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food though.

Ok, I have to be honest as I may not be able to provide this review justice, but I will say I'm definitely going back again for more. I was distracted as I was meeting up with a buddy from High School that I haven't seen in years, I mean a long time, since he moved to Hawaii. So amongst a lot of catching up, I didn't take the best photos, but I can say that I really enjoy the Craft by Smoke and Fire.So to get serious about this review I will start by saying that the staff was excellent. Providing helpful suggestions and making sure we were doing all right. Service is just as important as the food. If you have a to ask, the food was tender juicy and flavorful. Between my buddy and I we split 3 dishes. He ordered the Texas Style Smoked Short Ribs and I ordered the Texas Style Smoked Brisket Half Pound. We then also ordered the Smoked Barbecue Tri Tip. The complimentary Nachos was good and the Artichoke Spinach dip was wonderful. As for sides we ordered the Garlic and Herb Mashed Potatoes and fried Brussels sprouts. Overall I loved the flavors and enjoyed the tenderness of the meats. Well done.... This is definitely on a top list of places that I would go back again.... enjoy!!!

The Rib Eye is soooooooooo good. It can't be beat by any steak house. The brisket, tri-tip, corn bread, pickles, and sauce were all delicious, but the Rib Eye was the highlight.

The place was great! Was really warm inside so you don't have to worry about being cold and I Appreciate our server Christopher big time, he took care of everything for us in a heartbeat and he has a very nice and welcoming personality! Also the food and drinks were great it'll fill you up for sure, definitely recommend Craft if you're looking for some relaxed dining.
