Cousins Maine Lobster - Orange County

I was very happy to get my lobster roll fix at Cousins Maine Lobster truck while it was in my neighborhood! It made my uneventful Friday night eventful! We picked up a couple of OC Specials for $29 you get a lobster roll, tots and a can of soda or bottled water. I had the cold lobster roll and my friend had the warm one. We were both happy! We were also very happy for the huge side serving of tots! Perfect! After picked up our order, we walked across the street to her place and opened up a bottle of Chardonnay for TGIF!

Website clearly states the OC Truck will be at this location, on this date and time. I came around 7:15PM. Truck wasn't there. What the heck? If they're not going to be at a location they need to update the website so people don't waste time. On the bright side I saved $24.

I rarely get to eat a good lobster roll so Cousins was a nice treat. Their chunky lobster bits were delicious and super high quality. I just wish it was 200% bigger. I also got some of their tater tots which was really good. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the lobster bisque I had was lacking. No bits or chunks of lobster. If I had known I wouldn't have gotten it.

Had high hopes looking at pictures on Facebook and Yelp. Drove all the way to Huntington Beach. Order a Connecticute Roll warm with butter. The cost was about $25. When receive the roll. Looks nothing like the picture. The lobster meat was shrink small, not juicy and fat pieces like the pictures you see. It's small and not worth $25. I wouldn't buy again for the price. If it's 10$ less then it's fair.

I was quite happily surprised when I came home and saw the truck parked outside! I always love the opportunity to order from them.Today being a Tuesday, I thought why not try the lobster tacos since I had never had them before. They were delicious, at first I was a bit confused because I thought they would be served warm, with that being said the tortillas and the lobster were fresh but I would've Asked for the lobster and the tortillas to be heated. I'll know next time.The guy working the window was very friendly and courteous, and everything seemed clean and well organized. Be prepared to pay a competitive market price. They are not an inexpensive food truck. I'm a happy customer and love a surprise no cooking night lol!

This is a fantastic company! The food is always delicious here the best and their customer service is also the best.I sent scallops to our daughter and son-in-law on Sunday. It was as delivered on Tuesday as requested. It's expensive, but it's top quality. This is the second time I've sent scallops to our daughter and son-in-law - last time was just as wonderful.

We've been following the truck for many months but have not been able to match. This week they hit HB and we found em!! Loved my lobster roll, quesadilla AND my Whoopie Cake!! My crew love Cousins!! Better than lobster rolls in Maine, or anywhere else in OC! And we met nice ladies in line, good people!! I bought all the ladies Whoopi Pies too!! Thanks Cuzins!! Great experience and yummy food!!

This is my first time trying this food truck, and I ordered a Connecticut clam chowder. The lobster was buttery, fluffy, meaty, and a lot. I love how you can taste the lobster, and the bun is soft & compliments the whole flavor. The chowder is excellent, too, with good grade class, not sandy cheap ones from other places. I love it; I will try it again. It is pricey but worth the money I paid $30+ for both items.

Wow good! I was kind of expecting a larger roll but really it was filled to overflowing with lobster. They were very quick on making it. Nice truck. Easy access at Family Fun Fest in Yorba Linda. I had the OC special which comes with your choice of roll tater tots and a soda or a bottle of water. For the roll, I chose the Connecticut.

I've never been to Maine or anywhere on the East Coast, so I can't compare to "the real deal" as I've seen in other reviews, BUT I love their Connecticut Lobster Rolls! I tried Cousins twice already, once in Irvine and most recently in Garden Grove. The line can get long. We got there right at the start time, but we didn't get to order until an hour later. We didn't know about ordering ahead online until we saw some people come and pick up their order. The Connecticut roll is super flavorful, and I enjoy the warmed lobster a lot. I also like the bun they use. $23 is pricy for a sandwich that size, so I'd only get this once in a while. Still, it's the best lobster roll in my opinion, and I can't wait for the next time I go!
