Such a great experience with the food and staff!Made a reservation about less than a week in advance, was put on an online "waitlist". They called a couple days later for available "bar" seating. I asked if they can contact me back if they had a table open on the day I requested, and they said yes! I was impressed they did personal calls for resy's. I called them back the day of since I didn't hear back, and they said to come in and they'll make a table available for me. We came in and they reserved 1! It was a packed night so we were pretty happy they saved a table. Food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would definitely return. Highly recommend this cute restaurant

Let's start with parking. There's a parking structure right behind this place. From what I've read, they validate for 2 hours which is a good thing. This place touts itself as having Peruvian cuisine. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and an Apple Salad. Those dishes were both pretty good although it is definitely more on the contemporary side as their name mentions. Surprisingly, this place looks much larger on the outside. It is actually a pretty intimate restaurants with limited seating.

BEST Peruvian spot ever! Loved everything we had, but the empanadas and the Lomo Saltado were for sure the best. Not a whole lot of seating in there but it's still a great spot. Make sure to try the Inca Cola soda (especially if you've never had it before)

So I finally went back to costa today for a pleasant and exquisite little lunch with some colleagues.I would've reviewed this restaurant much much sooner but was waiting to get more photos and try more dishes and turns out I couldn't find the original pics and videos from my first visit cus it was so long ago. Anyways. This Peruvian restaurant is legit. The freshness and high quality ingredients basically say it all. You could argue it's pretty authentic but your Peruvian friends most likely won't agree. I think the appeal of this place is just how well put together the recipes and overall menu is. This place is amazing. My friend was telling me how he's never had calamari so soft, tender and well cooked as the one is his arroz con mariscos. Their ceviches were so juicy and fresh. Accompanying them with the wontons was a nice little take but I don't think it could ever replace or surpass a good ol' chip or tostada. The Lomo Saltado is balanced and cooked to perfection. The estofado de carne was simple but scrumptious. I finished that up in like 2 minutes or less today. Haha.I could go into detail with every single dish but you're just gonna have to trust me. This place deserves credit. Even The non alcoholic drinks there are incredibly tasty and flavorful. Props to those damn cookies and insanely rich and decadent flan. Cheated on my new years diet today for sure. Salud Gente Bonita.

What a great stop. I've been looking for an upscale Peruvian place for a cool date night with the Mrs. and this place fits the bill. Located near seagerstrom center, man is this place is amazing. First off, you gotta order the original pisco sour. Such a great compliment to the next items I'm going to recommend. Next, get yourself the ceviche Classico with the tigers milk. I just wanted to drink the sauce they put over the fish it was that good. I ordered the pescado a lo macho fish (branzino) with shrimp, scallops and calamari. The sauce was delicious and just the right amount. My wife had the lomo de mar y Tierra. Man the filet mignon made all the difference. Plus the sauce paired with these amazing thick potatoes paired with blistered tomato's and red onions? So darn goodDon't forget the alfajores (they're homemade little shortbread filled with dulce de leche). So good. This wasn't a typical Peruvian restaurant either a huge menu. The really specialize on what they want to make and do it so very well. Can't forget the cancha and the service was top notch. We'll be back soon.

A friend of mind told me about this place. I'm surprised it took me this long to come check it out. The food was delicious, as I enjoyed everything we had on our table. The cocktails with the pisco were also something I have never had before, but Jesus, they were BOMB. The empanadas were soft and tasty...what makes them even better was the sauce to dip them in. I ordered the lomo saltado, and I enjoyed the tenderness of the meat and everything about the meal. The other plate that was ordered was also delicious and refreshing. I would definitely come here again to try other things on the menu. I'm glad I finally got to come. The service was great, and so was the atmosphere. I would highly recommend everyone to come try this place out.

Restaurants like Costa Contemporary Kitchen really make me question why I'm not driving to OC more often for amazing food. Peruvian food is one of my favorite cuisines so I was pretty excited to try this spot and needless to say I was very very satisfied.Vibes are great and it's such an elegant looking restaurant. The ambiance and the food here are chef's kiss. The owner greeted us and sat us immediately even though we didn't have a reservation. They have a decent selection of drinks but I went for the pisco sour since many reviews on here were saying it's top rated. I enjoyed it, it was refreshing and I would totally get it again. I'm definitely in my pisco sour era right now. Everything on the menu sounded tasty but we had done happy hour prior so we were a bit stuffed from that. We went for the tallarin verde de filet mignon and aji de gallina. Loved both dishes but the tallarin was my favorite. I haven't had anything like it. The filet mignon was delectable and paired well with the pasta dish. I think it's pesto inspired. The aji de gallina was on the more salty side but if you eat it with rice it does balance out. I can only imagine how the lomo saltado tastes.. I'll be back for that next time and also some empanadas! And they do validate parking for two hours if you park in the structure behind.

We had a really nice dinner with the following dishes.- Causa appetizer with lime whipped potatoes. It comes as a pair with chicken, tuna, or one of each. We liked the chicken one over the tuna, but both were mild.- Arroz con Mariscos (cilantro beer simmered rice with large, succulent, and tasty fish, calamari, scallops, and shrimp). Hands down, this was the best arroz con mariscos we've ever had. - Pescado a lo Macho (fish, calamari, scallops, and shrimp in a tangy red sauce). Though we enjoyed it, it was more tangy than what we're used to eating... with what seemed like a hint of worcestershire sauce. For drinks, we had pisco sours that were quite good.Service was excellent.2-hour validated parking is convenient - in the parking structure behind restaurant.

The new drink on their menu was AMAZING! It's called El Pepino and it is delicious. It has cucumber, lime, ginger and club soda. Our bartenders were Hector and Jose and they were absolutely amazing at making sure we were taken care of and provided with the best service during our visit.I also appreciated that the chef came over to make sure our entrees were tasting good. The food was on point and I enjoyed every bite. This is a great establishment and a must try! The ambience is intimate but great for any occasion.
