If you're in Brea, or near by...this indie coffee/tea shop is absolutely worth supporting. The shop is spacious and inviting.The staff was hospitable, & recommended a few drinks. We decided to try the seasonal Winter Bloom Latte (Rosemary latte with honey drizzle), & Peach Blossom (White Tea).

My favorite coffee place in the area! Communitea is a great place for trying fun new drink flavors, studying or working, playing games with friends, and seeing other fun small businesses sell their products. They're really living up to the name Communitea. The workers are always extremely helpful and polite and do their best to get your drink tasting the way you like it. I always like getting their espresso tonic variations or trying the different cold foam variations on top of a cold brew. My top favorites so far have been the cherry espresso tonic and the pumpkin pie cold foam. I highly recommend checking this place and supporting a woman owned local business!

Best coffee in Brea hands down. I love how the menu has updates monthly. The employees are super friendly and answered all my questions on new drinks every time!

Communitea Coffee offers a cozy, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a quiet afternoon or a casual meet-up. The space is inviting, with warm lighting and plenty of seating that encourages you to linger and enjoy your drink. It's clear that they've designed the shop with comfort and community in mind.I ordered the "Love You Matcha," an iced matcha latte with strawberry foam, and while the presentation was great, the initial taste leaned more on the sweet side with less matcha flavor than I'd hoped for. I asked the staff to adjust the drink, and they were accommodating and quick to address it. I really appreciated their willingness to make sure I was happy with my order. Once tweaked, the balance of earthy matcha and fruity strawberry foam was much better.The service here is friendly and attentive. Even during a busier time, the staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure everyone had a good experience.While the drink didn't quite hit the mark for me initially, the effort to improve it and the welcoming vibe overall made it a worthwhile visit. If you're looking for a spot with a thoughtful menu and great service, Communitea Coffee is a solid choice.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and was very impressed. It was nicely decorated inside and was quiet, a perfect place to get work done. It was so colorful and welcoming. One of the workers immediately greet me and help me decide what to order. I ended up going with the Iced Honey Lavender Latte. It was sweet with those light notes of the lavender. I will definitely be coming back.

My hubby and I came here for a pick-me-up as we were nearby and apparently this place has been open since Jan 2024. I'm a plain Jane and my orders are usually "tried and true" in which I usually get a matcha latte; but I decided to switch it up and try their Fall version, which is the Blackberry Honey Matcha. The blackberry cold foam was very unique and tasted pretty good. I'm not very much of a sweet person, so I let them know when I ordered so they were able to adjust it just fine.The staff is nice and friendly so don't be shy to ask for any recommendations. If you're into board games, they have a good selection and plenty of tables for seating. If you have little ones, they have a small play area with toys and a play kitchen too. Overall, prices are decent, credit cards are accepted, and there's plenty of parking

A very cute coffee spot in Brea! Located in a plaza that I never frequent so it's a lovely addition. Very cute inside. Good amount of seating and there's even a kids play area and a place where they keep board games! Fun! I got the iced matcha latte with almond milk. Came out to 6.30 for a regular, which is quite standard for the area. My friend got the blackberry honey matcha off their fall menu.The barista asked me to let them know if I liked my drink (I didn't ask for any additional sweeteners) and my first sip was fine but then I winded up grabbing a stevia packet to add to amp it a bit. My fault on my end, but I'm not used to asking for sweeteners/syrups in matcha. I got to try some of my friend's drink and it seemed nice--they had the blackberry in the foam and I thought that was different (in a good way).I think I would have to frequent this place more in order to boost it up to 5, but that's a challenge I'll accept. I hope they continue to thrive! BTW, they also have different workshops throughout the month...love it when businesses are involved in their community. Kudos!

My friend told me she tried a new coffee place in Brea and I had to try it out! I came on a Sunday around 3:00 PM and it was quite busy inside, but no wait to order. There's several tables inside and they also have board games to borrow. Whenever it's my first time at a coffee shop, I always ask the cashier for their recommendation or popular item. He said the Signature Brown Sugar Cookie Delight was popular so I opted for that. It's a Cold brew topped with brown sugar cookie cold foam. They have a 16 oz ($6) and 20 oz ($7) option to choose from. I'm not sure if I came on an off day, but the drink tasted more milky? Unfortunately, I couldn't taste the coffee. Overall, I would give the drink 3 stars. I'm not sure if I'll be back but overall, it's a good spot to catch up with friends or have a little hangout. There's a big table available if you have a larger group as well.

Cute lil gem in brea! I love the vibes in this coffee shop and the coffee is great! I got a vanilla lavender iced latte and it was very good. Everyone is so nice too. Definitely recommend this place!
