Clean table 15 looking out into the parking lot. Very nice shiny table and cushy chairs.

My favorite broken rice place. Huge portions, great flavor, and priced well (taxes included on the menu). Thịt - Bi - Chả Trứng - Tàu Hủ Ky (bbq pork (boneless) with the fried shrimp cake in tofu skin. The BEST part.Service (mainly the cashier) is a little slow since they're still new. Parking lot is in a small plaza so may be difficult depending on the time.

Great food, great service. I love places that included tax in their menu. Their menu is extensive but not overwhelming. You will be full with just the basic Sườn bì chả, considering the 2 gigantic piece of pork ribs they give you. The only downside is the parking, unfortunately. If you come during rush hours, bring snack for the parking hunt and a trophy for when you finally make it inside.

My parents are tasked with finding new restaurants for Sunday dinner. They found a good one!! There is a constant line for this restaurant all day long and we came here for Sunday dinner. The smell while we waited, about 25 minutes, was devine and got my stomach all grumbly. Since it was later in the day, they were out of chicken, bbq pork, and crab, but that's ok since we wanted to try their pork chop broken rice combo. I absolutely love broken rice. It is my fav Vietnamese dish. This place has amazing portions, amazing value, and amazing flavors. I don't think I've ever used amazing so many times. The lines and waits are justified. In addition to broken rice we also tried the meatball and egg bread set. Amazing! This place is going on our repeat list. Parking can be difficult. Casual. Quick service once seated.

This restaurant was located in a strip mall and it had a line around 4 pm, which I was surprised by. When we got inside, the lighting was a bit dark for my liking, but the chairs were randomly very comfortable. The staff seemed like it was family owned and everyone was attentive and had good service. For the food, the portions were huge! One plate could definitely feed 2 people. The pork chop was nice and tender but I wish it had a more lemongrass flavor. The shrimp cake and egg cake were also very flavorful and savory. The soup on the side I enjoyed because it cut through the grease and it was very clean tasting. After your meal they give you a free, corn dessert which was the perfect end to the meal. If you want quality food and big portions, I would definitely come here for Vietnamese rice dishes. I think these are the best in OC!

Apparently my parents have been here 3 times already and this was my first time. Just like the good old times when your parents take you out to eat Negatives:-ambiance, the floor is a little slippery. Be careful when you exit. They were out of marinated pork. Apparently, they're normally very crowded. So be prepared to wait. Positives:-value, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. -taste, my wife thought the pork chop was good. My chicken was a little overcooked, but the tau hu ky was great; crispy, moist, and tasty. My bun was warm and I thought the nuoc mam sauce was good.-service, service was friendly and quick.Overall 5/5I will definitely be coming back to try the marinated pork. Probably next time it will be during lunch so they shouldn't be out of it. You also get free dessert at the end.

Food:The Suờn - Bì - Chả Trứng Muối - Tàu Hủ Ky dish was huge--I needed two more days to finish the leftovers! Everything is so flavorful, from the generous portion of meat to the crispy tofu skin, which I loved. The warm and tasty soup pairs perfectly with the meal, and the complimentary chè dessert is such a nice touch.Service:Service was decent and efficient, especially considering how busy the place was during dinner. There was a bit of a wait since it's clearly a popular spot, but it wasn't unbearable, and they kept things moving.Ambiance:The restaurant has a lively and bustling atmosphere, especially during dinner.

You know it's legit when all the customers are around your parents' age and ALL Vietnamese. That must mean the food is delicious and reasonably priced! I ordered a to-go order of the com tam pork chop with egg cake, shredded pork, and tofu-wrapped shrimp cake. The dish came with two pork chops! However, there wasn't enough of rice in the to-go order to balance out the meal with everything else. But other than that, it completely satisfied my long-standing com tam craving. This place is known for their broken rice pork chop and egg crab cake. I'll definitely get that next time now that I know better.

The place in business for a few months now and it's alway busy with long wait list for the tables. The broken rice really a huge portion can feed two person. The food tasted really fresh and lots of toppings. It's kind a loud but we can manage it. They're really attentive checking on us regularly especially from a Vietnamese place. So whoever craving for broken rice give this place a try and won't let you down.

Ordered to-go on a rainy day from Cơm Tấm Xí Cọn. Tried calling ahead, but apparently, their phone was on vacation, so I had to brave the weather and walk in. Luckily, I live close by, so it wasn't too bad. When I got there, it was packed like a family reunion--everyone and their mama was there enjoying cơm tấm. Rain wasn't stopping anyone. My go-to is the Sườn - Bĩ - Chả Trứng Muối - Tàu Hủ Ky, and of course, I had to top it off with a Soda Chanh. That thịt is no joke--so flavorful it makes you wonder if they've got some secret family recipe locked up somewhere. I wanted to try their chicken cơm tấm, but apparently, it was so good it flew off the menu before I got there. Next time, chicken--you and I have a date. The staff? Super friendly and attentive, even with the chaos of a full house. Service was smooth, but be warned: the wait time can test your patience, especially if you're ordering for a whole squad. My to-go order of five plates took about an hour, but hey, good food is worth the wait, right? Besides, I used the time to eavesdrop on the drama of who stole whose table--free entertainment! If you're craving some solid cơm tấm and don't mind a bit of a wait, this is the spot. Just remember, patience is key--and maybe call dibs on the chicken early.
