tried broken rice for the first time! my Vietnamese friend and her family took me to this spot. it was really yummy and I loved customizing my plate with the different toppings. i got the shrimp cake wrapped in tofu and the grilled chicken and my friend let me try a few bites of the quiche, shredded pork, and grilled pork! No complaints about the service! The lady was very nice to us. The restaurant is very big and spacious. Lots of available tables! Big tables as well for if you have a larger party.

Their food is quite good, but I would not say it's a "must-try". Their delicious selections was enough to satisfy my very Vietnamese mom, but she considers it "it's okay". As someone that comes from Escondido where there is only 1 viet restaurant, this is a good place to try some relatively more authentic viet food. The plates in the pictures I've attached are $25 each, and 2 plates of this was enough to fully feed my party of 3.

My friend's parents own this restaurant and have always enjoyed their food because she caters the food at her parties. The egg rolls, chicken and veggie noodles are seriously so good. I begged her to tell me their restaurants name finally went with my friend and we both enjoyed their food so much. Told my coworkers to go visit as well and many of them grew up going here and still love the food! The ambiance is very quiet and lowkey, I can tell lots of families come here and it has a really family welcoming vibe

Com Tam Thuan Kieu is located in a busy plaza in Westminster. I came here after shopping at ABC market because I was craving com tam. I love com tam saur much ... for sure one of my favorite viet dishes. This place was yummy and authentic... I'd rate this place a 3.4/5 ONLY because the service was a little slow & I also felt like it wasn't super clean. Despite that, I also love how they give you a free soup in the beginning too :-)

Com bi cha thit nuong is my go to plate when I get com tham. Food is great, fair portions, and it comes out quick. They have a variety of com tham options but I stick to the basics. Service is fair. I've been coming here since before when the business was My Nguyen.

This location is located in a very busy shopping center. So after your dining, you can walk next door and shop at ABC grocery, grab a little snack at Van's Bakery, check out the lottery shop, etc.My family are picky eaters. I was very nervous when we first walked in. The place is a bit run down and no other customers were there except for us. We almost walked out, but glad we stayed. My oh my! Delicious food. Huge portion. Great prices. The meat was marinated to perfection. The pickled cabbage and carrot were crunchy and fresh. The fish sauce had the right amount of sour and spicy. My tip is that order their broken rice dishes because that is what they are known for. I ordered Bun Cha Ha Noi and it was such a let down. But I highly recommend their broken rice dishes.4 stars because service wasn't great and the restaurant is very very outdated.

My go to com tam spot. Their side soup is delicious and their com tam tastes like a warm home cooked meal on a day where all I want to do is sit down and enjoy some com tam. The meal is packed with a lot so you never have to worry about not being full after the meal. I recommend this spot to everyone, it's not too expensive and is a yummy meal.
