The menu is very big with alot of different combinations . The restaurant is clean, The broken rice is kind of special, smell so good, enough moisture and dry enough as Com Tam should be , pork grilled is well marinated , You can choose choices of chicken, pork, or beef comes with soup and fish sauce. Reasonable price for the portion.

Bun Thit Nuong - meat is on the sweeter side so I think the sauce isn't really necessary. I'm not a big fan of the pickled radish and daikon - it was just plain sweet instead of sweet/sour. Overall, it's ok but wouldn't recommend going here for this.Staff were friendly and food came out quick. Easy parking, shop located in plaza with lots of desert and other quick eats.

My husband and I were in the area. We were hungry. The place across the parking lot had closed so we wandered into Com Tam Que Huong. As with most Vietnamese places, the menu is long but the specialty of the house is in the name of the restaurant. However, I'm not the biggest fan of com tam so I ordered Bun cha Hanoi and my husband ordered Bun bo xao. My Bun cha came out in record time and I was very happy with it. My husband tried his food and said it was ok. The restaurant looked like it hadn't had a dusting in quite some time. I went to use the restroom and it was okay. I saw someone in the back rinsing dishes. But shortly afterwards, I went home and felt ill. I'm not 100% sure it was from dining here but that's the only thing I can think of to make my stomach turn. It might have been the fresh herbs but I didn't think I'd feel that way in a restaurant in SoCal. TLDR; Food was okay, but I felt sick after an hour.

Came here on a whim because my family and I were starving. Stumped into this place and immediately regretted it as it had no AC on a very hot day! Humble little hole in the wall spot that was way TOO EXPENSIVE for what they served us! Very small portions of the chicken and rice, and it came with an old side of steamed veggies.... for 4 people we ended up paying nearly $90.00 not worth it at all.The lady who was taking our order was getting mad at us just because there was a language barrier and all we wanted was to make sure our order was correct. This place can improve in cleanliness and create a more inviting environment. If you can go somewhere else do it, do not come here!!!

Love the com tam from here. We've been getting our combos from here regularly. Their grilled pork always has the perfect charring and the flavor is on point. I love the crispy pork fat bits thay come with the meat. The fried egg adds extra creaminess to the meal and their nuoc mam is superb. A single order is enough to make 2 meals for me, which is solid. Definitely a hidden gem.

I'm not picky about my com tam places because usually they're all similar in taste, but I've had better. I got the Com Tam Suon Nuong Cha and was not disappointed at all with the Suon Nuong. It was so tender and filled with a smokey flavor that I really like. The portion was smaller than what I'm used to, but it was still pretty good. As for the cha, it could've used a little bit more flavor to it because it just tasted more like a regular egg than anything special. I tried my boyfriend's Tau Hu Ky and it was honestly just more of the skin than anything else. It was probably the most disappointing thing from the dish. The Soda Chanh also tasted pretty watered down here. There are other options on the menu that would probably be better than these dishes. I honestly expected more from their com tam especially since it's in their restaurant name. Would probably come back to try their other viet foods!

We wanted Pho 79 , but the line was long. We tried for Pho Holics, the line was again, long! We drove around the block and found this place. NO WAIT ! We got a table and had hot egg rolls and good rice , bbq and fried egg over rice !

Food cooled off really quick, perhaps it was warmed up in the microwave rather than off the stove. Maybe because we had a similar bbq pork for lunch, this just seemed really bland in comparison.Honestly it's just a normal com tam restaurant but it wasn't satisfying and I was kind of disappointed we drove over an hour for it.

My mom is so picky with com tam and this is her go-to and now my go-to. The thit nuong is always consistent; delicious with a slight char to add that texture and extra flavor. The tau hu ky has the perfect crunch and the nuoc mam is yummy. The bi and egg cake are tasteful. And I can't have com tam without the side soup, which comes with every order. The spot seems older, but you can tell it's authenticity as it's locally run by Vietnamese people. The space is casual and quiet, but definitely busy and chaotic in the parking lot.

Our usual broken rice restaurant was closed on Wednesday so we decided to try this place. They are located in the plaza off Bolsa/Bushard. It gets crowded in that area so parking can be difficult at times. We called in our order for pickup and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes but it was not ready upon arrival. The interior is quite small with a few booths and tables. The staff was friendly during the short interaction that we had. I do like that they accept credit cards which is very convenient. We ordered the Com Tam Bi Cha, Tau Hu Ky, Thit Nuong (Broken rice with char-grilled pork, Bean curd skin with shrimp, shredded pork skin, and steamed egg). The grilled pork was flavorful and tender. The fish sauce was on point. It complimented this dish very well. We also order another broken rice dish with grilled pork chop (Com Tam Bi Cha, Suon Nuong). Surprisingly, the pork chop was also tender and delicious. I think we stumbled upon another good spot for authentic Vietnamese broken rice (Com Tam). There are so many choices in the area but very few are good. We would come back here again!
