Com Tam Ba Ghien

One of my favorite cơm tấm places in OC. We got "Ghiền" Đặc Biệt with all toppings, and it was delicious! The grilled pork was juicy and seasoned well, while other toppings were also flavorful. Portion was big enough for 2 people. You will also get free soup for every order you make.The atmosphere is nostalgic. Their decor reminds me of Saigon in early 2000s. Very Instagrammable!

Com Tam by day, Oc 7 Seafood by night, I love this type of co-op especially when the savings is passed down to the consumers!I can't speak for the Oc 7 seafood since I've never tried but I do like this com tam! Immediately upon entering, you'll notice the decor. I've only been to Vietnam once but you definitely get the vibe like you're almost in VN, the good part that is. Those that have been to VN know's what I'm talking about. It's a great mix of that home town feel with the cleanliness of what we're used to around here. The metal tables and the small plastic stools defintely took me back. Now on to the food. We ordered everything to-go and all the dishes came with a wintermelon drink with a few chia seeds. We got:-Dac Biet all toppings for $18. Subed the porkchop for bbq pork-Bun thit nuong $12-Suon nuong pork chop $13The portions are really generous for the price. I'm not too fond of the seasoning since the meats were on the sweeter side, but the quality is tasty! The meats pork and bbq pork is tender and actually has meat on them. Alot of places gives you 50% fat on the meats, these were all really good! Service was nice and next time would consider dining in to get the full hometown experience!

Ahhh, the atmosphere is unbeatable!It brought you to saigon. The place is filled with childhood memories. Forgot about the food. Com tam dish is very decent. Should definitely give it a go!

I visited this restaurant for lunch after seeing an ad on Facebook. I ordered the Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt, and the portion was huge. I ended up taking the leftovers to-go and had enough for two more meals, so it was definitely worth the price. The Cơm Tấm was excellent--the meat was tender and marinated perfectly. They also served complimentary Bí Đao tea, which was a little too sweet for my taste, and gave out free bitter melon soup that day. The restaurant itself is cute, clean, and has plenty of seating. There's many parking spots right in front. While the service wasn't super quick or attentive, I understand they were a bit busy.

My parents told me about their new favorite com tam spot and I decided to check it out. Decent amount of parking space. Walking in, we were greeted by the hostess and were walked to our table.(Restroom is to the left upon walking in, just behind the registers) I was instantly enchanted by the place, feels like you're transported to a part of Vietnam. The vibes were giving . I really love the details of each section of the restaurant, it had its own uniqueness to it, even had a wine wall.They had a lot of options from com tam to shaken beef, stir fry to fried calamari and sea food items. Each com tam dish offered side soup and a free drink, either an iced tea or winter melon drink. I got the wintermelon drink and it was very refreshing, wasn't bitter and on the sweet side. The food came out pretty quick, we waited for about 10mins. I got my com tam with egg and they cooked it sunny side, wasn't all dried up like other places. Haha The portions were pretty big, good amount of rice with protein ( pork chop) with lettuce and tomatoes. Pork chop was tender and juicy not dry at all great with side of fish sauce. I liked mine spicy so I wish they had hot sauce containers already at the tables. The mela also came with soups broth with ( I believe it's water spinach? was delicious flavor, almost sweet and not salty so it balances out the main dish.Overall, I think this is a cute com tam place with great flavor and good portions.

Small portion inside an Oc restaurant. The price is cheap, but with a lot of broken rice and stuff (big portion), it's absolutely worth it. The service is pretty good, fast and attentive. We like their Broken Rice (Com Tam). We will come back again.

pretty good com tam place to eat at. it can be hard to find this spot, but if you see the "Oc 7" restaurant, it is there. the interior is very unique but it gives a sense of Vietnam. the menu has like five com tam dishes and many more dishes on the other side of the menu. we ordered two com tam dishes and it took about 30 minutes to come out. some customers near me were asking the staff what was taking so long, so don't come here if you are in a rush. along with the wait, the food wasn't hot to the point you know the meat came off the grill. this place serves a complimentary wintermelon with chia seeds drink. side note; the dac biet is huge so i recommend sharing it with one to two other people.

We have visited this place a few times. It's a new com tam (broken rice) spot tucked away inside another restaurant, 7 Oc Seafood. They have 6 to 8 tables in the right corner of the establishment. In terms of price to quality, this place is fairly good. For $12.99, you get a large thin pork chop served with two fried eggs and a side of pickled vegetables. The deluxe option, priced at $18.99, includes two pork chops, steamed egg cake, fried tofu skin stuffed with shrimp, and other items. The service is efficient; we received our three orders in under 15 minutes.The decor is interesting giving the street eating vibe of Vietnam.
