+2 stars for clean and airy restaurant. Lunch time on a Saturday 12pm and the place was near empty. We sat down, menus brought out, they take our orders asap. All good. The bun bo hue was bland. Noodles were slightly on the mushy side. At least the veggies looked fresh. Overall, its the most mediocre bun bo hue Ive had this year in Bolsa area and Hue in Viet Nam. $36 for 2 bowls of this bun bo hue is down right criminal. Tried once but I dont think Ill come back. Hue Kitchen, Ngu Binh, or even Huong giang food to go would be better.

Living here in Westminster, it's surprisingly hard to find good bun bo hue. I've tried so many that are just watered down and lackluster. This was the first time I've had a good bowl of bun bo hue in the states. The picture I took was literally half-way through my meal because I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I knew I had to leave a review later. The broth is super flavorful and clean. They give ample amounts of noodle and meat with a good variety of different meats as well including pork knuckle, pig's blood, fish ball, and beef. I will say that it's not very spicy but they leave sate for you to add to your liking. The lychee lemon does taste a bit like canned lychee juice but regardless is quite good! I would just ask for less sugar. It's a family run business and everybody was very courteous and the restaurant is clean! Stop by if you have a chance. I know I'll be coming back.

This would most likely be my last visit here their beef soup is okay but everything else is horrible, especially the sizzling plate that is not quite hot. What I was trying to pay for my bill. The owner insist that I need to pay with cash. When I told her I don't want to pay with cash. She pretend to enter a few thing into the screen and then told me that she made a mistake and could not cancel the order. So I'm going to have to pay with cash leaving me no choice. On top of that, I found out from one of the waitress that the owner do not pay tip back to the waitress. If you left it through the card she was distraught when I left tip through the card the last time I was there. This is bad business practice and a great way to chase customer away.

I was eating mi in the same plaza and decided to order bun bo to go for dinner later. I ordered the bun bo with only cha because I don't like the other weird cuts and offals. The bun bo was tasty and their spicy sate was good too. I would come back again.

The raising amount of MSG in the common BBH places made me try to find a new place.I happen to buy a ton of jerky from their jerky store. The BBH here is great. They give you a ton of meat. The portion is very filling. The broth is fine. I usually ask for clear broth (less oily and fatty) and order beef only (no blood, no cartilage.)People complaining about price but this is 24, everything is expensive. For what you get I think it is worth it.

They sold out every day so far for their soft opening week, awesome. It was packed during lunchtime and the staff did their best to accommodate the big crowd. It has 11 tables and still yet to utilize the patio area. They also have Khô Bò (beef jerky) on the shelf since it is the same owners of Cô Ba Khô Bò. They offered 10% off for their soft opening. The only item available is their main signature dish which is the BUN BO Noodle Soup. What can I say, the Bun Bo is excellent. It included beef bắp bò, tendon gân, pork blood huyết, pork paste chả heo, noodles, and salad râu. They ran out of pork feet (giò heo) when I was there. The broth is not oily, it is very flavorful onced I added the nước mám and mám ruốc. All the meat is very soft and tender, and it is quality meat.I also had the Lychee Lemon/Lime Juice (nuoc chanh vai). Wow, it is bomb. It is not too sweet and well balanced flavors of the fruits. It is actually as good as the drinks you find in the high-end restaurants in LA. I will try their mango fruit tea next time since other guests liked theirs.I highly recommend their BUN BO dish and look forward to trying their next items.

For a new, especially family business, I usual don't give 3 stars reviews because I want to give them a chance to succeed but this place compelled me to do so but mainly because I want them to know what's wrong so they can make the adjustments. To keep it short:The good: the broth is one of the best I've had in a long time. All the ingredients work harmoniously without one overpowering the others and the result is love at first sip for me. This is believe or not is hard to achieve. The not so goods: The price: for $16 you don't get enough noodles or meat (3 slices of beef, one piece of chả, one piece of blood pudding and one small piece of giò heo). Additional add-ons (meat, blood pudding...) will cost you $5. The noodles came out barely lukewarm for me so I had to request them to reheat (microwave). Another 10 wait. Speaking of wait time, you have to cut them some slack because this is a new family run establishment. Hopefully they will be quicker. The service was excellent. Every one was polite and I could see they were trying hard to make things flow as smoothly as possible. They have a snack station which offers beef jerky, dry squid and fish plus candied fruits. The owner told me they're from a shop across the street (Cô Ba Khô Bò). You can try some samples if other people didn't get them all. I hope they would make some changes because I want them to succeed so I can come here often. BTW, they prefer cash payments and credit card will be charged 3%. I don't really like it but it's not a deal breaker for me.

cô ba bún bò, good bún bò place, but waiting over 25min for 2 bowls of noodle is a bit long especially if this place specializes in just this noodle. i ordered a đặc biệt small and đặc biệt large. difference with small portion is that doesn't come with pork hock. i like the chew on the meat and chả was pretty good. the pork blood isn't to my liking here, it was very grainy and had a funny taste. pork soup smells good, taste is lacking shrimp paste and lemongrass so add in shrimp paste. their house made saté chili is okay, not spicy. good plate of veggies. tea cost extra $1.50. would i come back? possibly for another try.
