In Short, this place is fantastic and I don't why anyone would rate it less than 5 stars. With a few more details,I have been there a few times now and it's always been a fantastic experience. The downstairs is nice and has a bar and the patio upstairs is fantastic especially that both levels have massive screens to watch sporting events AND alcoholic beverages. Very clean place. Close to the movie theater and Yorba Linda town center so you can grub here then watch a movie right next door. Service has been great. Staff is very friendly. Reasonably priced for a nice atmosphere.The food has been delicious on every occasion. Chicken strips very juicy and chunky unlike some other chicken places. Original is not that spicy but has a fantastic flavor so if you want more heat make sure to order something hotter than the original. Also, the fries are fantastic. Try them cooked well done. Crunchy outside yummy inside. Definitely recommended spot right off imperial highway and YL towncenter.

Food was pretty good. We ordered the 4 piece combo with an extra side of waffle fries. Chicken was seasoned but I wish the coating had some crunch to it. Waffle fries were perfectly crispy and probably my favorite part of the meal. Ambiance is cool inside on the main level. Huge screen for watching games. Rooftop view was nice for YL, but the staff working up there was not. Customer service for the team on the main level was good! Friendly and quick. Our experience with the rooftop was BAD.While waiting for our food, we went up to check out the rooftop since it was our first time visiting and there was a game on. Within 30 seconds of being on the rooftop, a staff person approached us and asked if we were going to order a drink and if not, we needed to leave. The tone was rude and the caveat thrown in immediately was uninviting. He didn't greet us, offer a menu, or make any recommendations but essentially tried to boot us. Why would anyone want to spend their money after that?

My favorite hot chicken in OC! I started with the location in Fullerton in 2019 and have tried many new locations over the years but this location is my very favorite! I have NEVER gotten a weird piece of chicken and have always had quick friendly service. The tenders were my go to until they released the nuggets...SO good! 10/10 recommend!

Went to Clyde's after an event and it was busy. The man at the register was great and calm. He was busy but was so polite. This was my first time at the restaurant and I was from out of town. The chicken sandwich was well cooked and seasoned. We sat upstairs on the rooftop. Full bar up there. The place was very clean. But I think the guys name was Chance? He deserves a raise! He handled himself and everything very well.

Chance was the only server today and he did an amazing job. We came in with a huge crowd and he stayed super positive, made sure we were all taken care of, and had the best attitude. And he was even manning the drive through. He is a hard worker and want to give him all the credit in the world. Thank you chance!!!!

I was really excited to try Clyde's hot chicken and check out the rooftop but the experience was a huge let down. My husband, our dog and I ordered at the counter (the cashier was great) then headed upstairs. Once we sat down, I noticed other tables had menus and drinks which I didn't realize they had table service upstairs. I was interested in ordering a couple of beers but the waitress ignores us- TWICE. She checked on every table around us but never once stopped by, she just walked past us to check on the other tables. It was honestly shocking.The food was dry and flavorless which was already disappointing but the lack of service sealed the deal.

Did an order for pickup. Reached the restaurant at pickup time. The person manning the station told me they got a big order, and mine would take 2 extra minutes. No big deal, i will wait. Low and behold, nothing for full 15 mins. No communication, no update. Nothing. Finally I had to get up and knock at drive through window before opening it and trying to get someones attention. Got my order few minutes after, the food was okay. Got smallest piece of chicken for the burger. At least it tasted good.

The worst place on earth, been waiting for the order for an hour, no one cared, tables were dirty. Awful service! The guy ended up refunding the order and didn't even tell us about it until we came to check on our order again! ITS OUTRAGEOUS

Horrible place, wasted over 40 min for the order, but never got it because they couldn't handle the birthday upstairs and messed up all the orders. We never got our and they still didn't even refund it
