They have an amazing breakfast! We ordered the papas cargadas and a breakfast burrito. The flavor was amazing and one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Everyone on staff was very friendly and the decor is very cute. Overall, a great experience!

We decided to check out Chuponcito for brunch just because of the name, it made my wife laugh. But after dining here, I can say this place is so much more than just a fun name. The space is warm, cozy, and intimate, not too big, but that just adds to the charm. The lighting and decor make it feel welcoming, like a spot you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Every bite had the kind of depth you only get when a kitchen knows exactly what they're doing. My wife, who is very picky with Hispanic food and vocal about it, was genuinely blown away, which says a lot given her deep roots in Mexico. On top of that, the service was amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. This is definitely a place I'd come back to, and one I'd easily recommend to anyone looking for a great brunch, or dinner spot with top-quality food and a welcoming vibe.

If you're looking for a spot that never lets you down, Chuponcito is the place to be! Their breakfast is absolutely delicious -- always fresh, flavorful, and just what I need to start my day. But let me tell you, they have THE BEST Spanish lattes with a twist. My personal favorite? The Horchata Latte. It's so creamy and perfectly spiced; I can't get enough of it!My boyfriend and I visit here quite often, and it's honestly one of our favorite spots. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, they never disappoint. I recently brought my girlfriends here, and they were absolutely blown away. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the service is top-notch, and the food- perfectionI've had their dinner once as take-out, and even though take-out doesn't always do food justice, Chuponcito knocked it out of the park. Still delicious once it got home, and I couldn't believe how flavorful everything was.If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Chuponcito -- you won't regret it!

I was living so close to this spot for so long but had never checked it out till today. I basically wanted to try the whole menu but opted for the shrimp enchiladas in green sauce along with the horchata. I ordered it as take out and it came with chips and salsa. Literally everything was so good! Salsa was a bit sour but still a hit! Service was also very sweet, they were very enthusiastic and had a few recommendations. Actual interior is cute as well! I saw some folks sitting outside near the tablets as well

Choponcito is a cute, quaint brunch spot in Aliso Viejo that was packed on the Saturday morning my boyfriend and two of our friends visited. My boyfriend and I enjoyed sharing the carnitas eggs benedict and the chilaquiles. The banana flan latte I ordered was just okay. The four of us sat at a communal table in the middle of the small restaurant since that's the only seating we could find. It worked for us, but if you're looking for a quiet brunch spot, this is not the place.

Great brunch spot- I'd call it a hidden gem in south county. Located an unassuming a strip mall, parking is easy. You order at the counter and grab a seat. They have indoor and outdoor tables as well as counter spots. We came on a Sunday and while the place was pleasantly bustling, there was no wait. Friendly service, cozy contemporary decor, and absolutely delicious food. I loved my chilaquiles. Bonus points for the lovely cloth napkins they provide- just a very charming touch. I look forward to coming back!

Cozy is the feel, breakfast is its deal. A large table sits centered in their dining space and radiates its communal vibes throughout. Sit there and socialize; you may be sitting next to your future best friend. THE FOOD. - Carnitas Benedict | Tender carnitas. Soft English muffin to soak up the creamy cilantro Hollandaise sauce. Side of crisp hashbrowns. Definitely a dish to re-order over and over again (I have). - Chilaquiles | Crispy tortilla chips coated in a creamy tomato-based sauce with slices of fresh avocado and an over easy egg on top. Seriously good. It's one of my favorite dishes here. - El Chupon | A breakfast burrito with potatoes scrambled eggs, and chorizo. It comes with an avocado-type dipping sauce. Reminds me of Off the Grill's (now closed) chorizo burrito. RIP, Off the Grill. - Asada Salad | The asada was a little tender, but could use a little more seasoning. A light cotija sauce was tossed into the romaine lettuce, as well as slices of cherry tomatoes, onions, and cheese (also cotija). The presentation was simple, but it could use some ingredients to contrast the flavor more. - Chile Verde | Braised pork, beans & cheese, Spanish rice, house made tortillas. Pretty good. - Chips and Salsa | Housemade tortilla chips and nicely spiced salsa. Delicious. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Sangria | It came in a small glass and it wasn't overly sweet. COMING BACK? I've actually been here several times for breakfast. Arguably, one of the best spots around!

5 star definitely fulfilled the hype. The food was amazing. We went on Tuesday. It's 3 tacos for $10 (normally $5 each). I got the crunchy chicken tinga, soft carne asada, and soft shrimp taco. They brought us free chips and the staff were very friendly. The decor is nice and everything is high quality. Chairs, tables, napkins, plates, silverware. Next time I would like to get crunchy shredded beef, carnitas, and carne asada tacos

This might be my new favorite brunch spot in the OC! Chuponcito thrives on its bold flavors that are perfectly balance. Nothing is too strong in the best way. For example, the drinks. This horchata latte is better than I've had at other places because it's not too sweet and still provides a good coffee flavor without losing the sense of the horchata. My favorite though was the banana latte which isn't too forward but is still unique. The regular horchata is on the lighter side but it's refreshing and doesn't leave you feeling heavy. The burritos seem pricy but they're hefty. The kids menu burrito is probably the size of a burrito elsewhere and the regular breakfast burritos could possibly be shared. Personally I liked the bacon one more than the chorizo one but the chorizo has a nice spice to it. The star though is the hot sauce. Whatever pepper they used to make it has a kick to it that lingers and burns in the way you want the spicyness to. I also sampled the carnitas benedict. I strongly dislike cilantro, and I felt like that cilantro hollandaise wasn't too strong. In fact the flavors were great. Additionally, the service was wonderful. They were patient with us as we took time to decide and were attentive to us which is great especially with a toddler. Overall, this is a great spot and I can't wait to come back again.
