Chinese Express

You definitely get your monies worth here! They fill up the combo plates to the point where the container can barely close. And the combo 2 plate is only $10.69. You get two entrees and two sides, unless you want two servings of one each. Their chow mein is so good that we usually just get both sides of that. It's definitely the spot for lots of delicious Chinese at a great price!

12 dollars for Dry orange chicken that sat under a heat lamp for way too long. Fried Rice was dry and not flavored. Chow mein Noodles tasted like they had been reheated multiple times. Definitely Nothing Fresh. Don't Eat Here.. Zero Customers before or after me during lunch time. Big Red flags. Did not finish the rice or Noodles. I'd Love to have my money back. GROSS

THEY TAKE CARD! They used to be cash-only which was a bummer BUT they now take cards, with a fee. I think it's 50 or 75 cents, which is kind of steep I know, but I personally don't mind because I love supporting Mom & Pop shops instead of big chains.Masks required, social distance is enforced, plastic sheet over register, you swipe or enter card yourself, only 1 pen available to sign receipt but hand sanitizer provided.I don't come here often cuz it's on the other side of town, but I make the trip when I'm in the mood for a special treat. Been a fan since the 90s.All the typical Mom & Pop Chinese entrees are here and they're yummy, but my go-to is DEFINITELY the House Special Chicken/Jalapeño Chicken; It's pieces of chicken with a wonderful tasting sauce and jalapeños. I have never seen it elsewhere and it's my absolute favorite [my guess] is that it's a creation catered to their mostly Mexican clientele, and we love it ;)1.Plus they REALLY PACK the container. I mean, they're not skimpy with their portions!

I was not impressed. For fast food, Panda Express does it better. Orange chicken here is just the syrupy sweet typical version you get at all of these neighborhood places. Pepper chicken was almost all celery, and the chicken that was in it wasn't all that peppery and was too soft & mushy. Egg rolls are cheap but taste old. The only thing I liked here were the noodles, not greasy, orange-tinted version, decent flavor.Skippable.

Uhmmm this place isn't gross but I mean I've never been to a bad Chinese food place so idk it's not a bad review but if you want at least good Chinese food don't come here the orange chicken rice and egg rolls tasted like cardboard I only ate the noodles meehhhhhh

Just wanted to give a local chinese food spot by my house a try. Sadly to say the food was probably the worse chinese fast food i have eaten in 25 years. I ordered spicy chicken and it wasnt spicy and second the chicken had a fishy after taste. Maybe the chicken was spoiled. Another customer complained about same chicken entree or a different one. The lady was offering to replace it but i lost my taste buds.

Panda express down the street is much better if you must eat Chinese fast food, but this place isn't too bad. (Whatever that means...)China Express does have a few redeeming qualities though, such as tasty eggrolls, big portions, and some items that other Chinese fast food joints don't typically have. (Seasoned chicken wings is one, off the top of my head.)To make another comparison, it is better than Donut Star. (Don't ask me how I was coerced into eating Chinese fast food from a donut shop! XD)

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was the first time I saw it in person and I was like oh my gosh such good food love it yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm recomend for years

The food was pretty authentic, very much like home cook. Plenty of parkings and credit cards excepted. I love to support our community.

Honestly, I would give this place 0 stars if Yelp allowed me to.I came in to buy rice and she charged almost 9 dollars for a plate of plain white rice.That's obviously ridiculous for plain white rice.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.It seems like they would rip off anyone if they were given the chance.I didn't want to cause a scene but I will definitely never spend any money there again.
