5/5 The service was impeccable. Staff was super nice and informative and also very generous. It was my first time trying this bakery and I wanted to get an assortment to take home and try. They had some wonderful recommendations and literally EVERYTHING we tried was a straight up banger. There was not one bad egg in the bunch. When they rang me up, they even gave me some freebies to try on the house and something for my daughter. A+.

It's a small bakery with no restroom available, nearby parking lot is tight, not much room to walk in or wait within the bakery. I felt like there was no line system when I went. I had to throw myself forward to get my order in while the server was just staring at the customers/guests.I got a few pastries, both of which were very good. The strawberry envelope was sweet but not too sweet. The pistachio bar had a custard inside and that was absolutely delicious!!!I would like to come again and try other pastries. They seem to also sell coffees, bread, bagels, sandwiches, croissants, yogurt

I read the positive reviews about this place and wantedto visit it for quite some time. It is located in Laguna Hills near the DMV, in fact, if you glance up the hill, youcan see the nervous faces of those waiting for their driving test. Once you enter, the owner Annie goes out of her way togreet you and make you feel welcomed. She asked if itwas our first visit? She was so warm and kind. It was likearriving home after a long trip. The food was good and so was their latte. They built a patio where parking used to be. I told my son who came with me, it doesn't get any better than this!Sun shining, wonderful pastry, delicious coffee isthe best it can be. This is a very special place. If I lived closer, I wouldbe here more often and check out their menu items. Thank God for French bakeries! Time to slow down and enjoy life!

We came here for my birthday this past Friday as I've been wanting to try this place for years! My mom, sister and I stopped by for lunch. We ordered the lox, shakshuka, pain Perdu and a sandwich. Everything was SO good and fresh!! 10/10 flavor wise for sure. The customer service was absolutely amazing! Justin was wonderful and came out to the patio to check on everyone constantly. He was super nice and when he found out it was my birthday he delighted me with a dessert - which was one of the ones I had been eyeing in the display case! We were too full for sweets after lunch but we will definitely be back for more yummy food and to stop and say hi to Justin. Overall a wonderful bakery!

Having breakfast at Chaupain Bakery had been on my "to do" list for far too long. I kept hearing from others how good it was so, this Sunday, I went for breakfast , I was not disappointed. Entering, I was hit by the aroma of freshly baked bread, freshly made pastries and fresh everything. "Lunch" was also being served (at 9 am) and I ordered their Chicken Pesto sandwich, loaded with grilled chicken breast, red onion, red bell pepper, pistachio pesto, tomatoes, spinach and gruyere cheese. I took my first bite and the flavors burst in my mouth. Wow. What a tasty combination of flavors. I was with a party of four and we all agreed that it had been an excellent breakfast.

If you are ever in Laguna Hills and looking for a good French bakery/pastry, look no further! You can get your bread loaves, baguettes, and a variety of pastry choices at Chaupain Bakery. If you are indecisive, their friendly staff will provide insights on what is popular or preferences you may have towards baked goods. Be mindful during peak hours though. The line can get long during breakfast/brunch time. Usually best when the items are fresh out of the oven. They also have sit-down options with savory choices as well. There's a nice deck where you can enjoy your morning delights also. Love this place and their goods. Swing by and take a gander. :)

This place is one of my favorites! It is a cafe style place which reminds me of some deli's in Paris. There is no sitting inside other than few bar height style sittings but they have outside sitting. Since it is cafe style there is not much service needed. As for food, their pistachio croissant is the best amongst the few other places that have it. Their baguett and their breakfast is fantastic. I have not tried their sandwiches yet but it certainly looks delicious.

Firstly would like to mention that I enjoy any place that plays French music in the background. Not to mention the fact I'm semi lingual in the language and look forward to any opportunity speaking French. Such as the case here at Chaupain Bakery. First thing noticed was the delicious looking spinach, quiche! The visuals, various pastries are eye-catching. And Fragrant, bakery, aroma. And yes, it was a delicious daily made French spinach and cheese quiche. Another worthwhile mention is that Lauren (store manager) is very passionate and knowledgeable in regard to French food and pastries. Justin the supervisor, kept the place tidy, And made sure everybody was enjoying their Patisseries etc. Looking forward to trying the ham, bacon, and mushroom & bacon French quiche next, and a La Tartine / Freshly baked baguette, European style, and a Sunrise Croissant soon.
