She was on the phone with her transportation as it was 105 degrees outside and she was feeling weak. The male at the register seemed agitated and yelled at her to get out. Confused, the woman asked why knowing she wasn't doing anything wrong, and he stated, and I quote "I have to go to the bathroom and don't have time for you to be on your phone in the store".The poor woman left in shame.Was this racism? I am not sure. Was this poor behavior and heartless? Absolutely. Even the choice of words. How about "Ma'am, may I help you with something? I have to utilize the restroom but want to take care of you first" would have changed the context to a normal interaction. My question to all of you is: Would the situation have been the same if it was a male? Perhaps same ethnicity? In a healthy state? I doubt it. He saw the opportunity to be rude to a poor unhealthy elderly woman-and if this doesn't speak on his character, I don't know what does.Extremely disappointed.

Wow this store looks so different since they remodeled it!Before, it was very dark and grungy inside, now its bright, well lit and easier to get around! The minute I walked in I was greeted by the owner! He was so friendly and told me about the remodel, the counter is wood and nice and smooth! The scratchers are no longer inside the counter, he has them inside a box displaying a big selection of goodies!When you have good owners and good selection it definitely makes you want to come back more and give them your business!^_^Bonus points for it being across Spigas ^_^
