Feasting at Caspian is easy when the food is so tasty! Their kebabs and lamb chops are Devine! The rice is fluffy, buttery, and melts in your mouth! The Shirazi salad is perfectly tart, and the bread and butter wraps the meal up in a nice little bow. We went on a Saturday night and Caspian offers entertainment in the form of a belly dancer and a singer/entertainer. The music, for the most part was in Persian so I was bopping my head to lyrics I did not understand but overall, it's a great place to bring your family for a dinner with free entertainment. This location is in a large shopping plaza so parking is ample and free! Make sure to make reservations as the good tables are usually taken up on Saturday nights!

I knew walking into this restaurant I was in for a treat. The lobby was full of people laughing, taking pictures and obviously having a good time while the wait staff bustled about. We were greeted and seated quickly. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and can accommodate large crowds. While we were dining, a wedding party was enjoying themselves near the stage and many other large groups were celebrating birthdays. The live Persian music was very good and was intertwined with live Arabic dancing - not Persian but still fun! Since half the room was celebrating birthdays the band played Tavalodet Mobarak - always a crowd pleaser! Our waiter was awesome. I can't imagine how hard it is to work so many tables but he was friendly and efficient. He got our drinks out immediately and was back to take our order within a reasonable time. The food was great... we ordered family style and shared everything. The meat wasn't overcooked and the rice wasn't undercooked. What more can you ask for?Oh and the saffron ice cream is a must have!

This place was OK. They had great customer service and food was decent but man this place is expensive. U have been to several Kebab place in my lifetime and also tried various middle eastern cuisine famous for Kebabs but never this expensive. For 2 of us we paid almost $70. The food is decent. The humus was a letdown. It literally felt they were serving us store bought Humus. The kebabs were good and the highlight of the day was their Rice. Their rice was wonderful and flavorful. I would definitely come here and order just their variety of rice and savor just their rice.Anyways, I would definitely give it a try and see how you experience the food.

It was my first time dining at the Caspian with my family (I've only ever smoked hookah there) and it was great! Love the food and entertainment. Service was a little bit slow but understandable since I went there on a weekend of Father's Day. Our family of 4 shared the hummus, eggplant dip, and tzatziki with the bread. The eggplant dip was my favorite and had a lot of flavor. The bread wasn't like the flat pita kind but rather spongey and had herbal flavors too. We also got the dolmehs (stuffed grape leaves) and those were also delicious and they were quite huge for the size of dolmehs. We shared a chicken combo plate and the beef Soltani plate. The chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy, it wasn't dry at all compared to the chicken skewer I've had before at Port New Port. The Soltani combo had the koobideh and beef barg skewers and those were super delicious! Juicy and packed with flavors. I got the cherry rice too and it went so well with the meats. For desserts, we got combination dessert platter, which included Zoolbia & Bamieh and baklava and then Faloodeh. The Zoolbia and Bamieh were extremely sweet and it was my first time eating them so I didn't know what to expect. They were good but just way too sweet for me. Faloodeh had pistachio and some sort of ginger flavor topped with rose water rice noodle, which added some crunch to the ice cream, served with cherry syrup and lemon on the side. Faloodeh was probably my favorite dessert, it was very unique.

Yeah this is the best Persian food I've ever had across all of California. You're not going to find better Koobideh anywhere else. If you dine in, there will be live entertainment like a singer/musician and a belly dancer, which is awesome. The food is really good. Like I said, best Koobideh I've ever had, the Saffron Rice was really good too (I like to put Sumac on mine), and the Grilled Chicken is a secret OP, really surprised me how good that was. The prices were quite high, but the portions were large to compensate (not to mention the live entertainment). Check out my video review: https://youtu.be/FUHrMOHlYY0

The most solid Persian restaurant in Irvine and probably one of the best in Orange County. Consistent quality on most of their Persian fooz, also they bake their own bread. I can't wait till they open their hookah lounge, which was shut down due Covid.

Outstanding Persian food and entertainment. My family is Latin, and they've never experienced anything like this Great grilled food, belly dancing, singing ... we had such a great time. By the end of the night it was MY belly that was dancing (in a good way). The servers were very attentive, and the desserts were excellent. Try the mini chocolate pyramid for a hazelnut surprise inside. The only thing that was rough were the drinks. I know it's the O.C., so you have to be a little forgiving, but my old fashioned tasted like Gatorade. I didn't expect L.A. quality drinks, but it was enough for me to stick to water. Other than that, can't wait to come back for the food and entertainment.

If you're ever bored in quiet Irvine on Friday or Saturday night head on over to Caspian. It's probably the only loud and exciting place in Irvine beyond Spectrum. When I was there, there were at least 10 birthdays being celebrated (including my own), a few graduations and I don't what else but everyone was having a good time. The food isn't as good as other Persian restaurants like Darya in Santa Ana but it's still good. The service is pretty slow, but you come for the party atmosphere to enjoy the live music and the belly dancing. The dance floor was very crowded and I especially enjoyed the people who were singing along to the music in farsi. There is a $5 fee per person for the music but I think it's well worth it.
