What a great experience! The tacos here are so delicious and the handmade tortillas really shine! Clean, and friendly environment! //CONTEXT//I came here as a party of two on a Saturday around 11 am. It started getting busy after but we got a seat and ordered right away!//ENVIRONMENT//Fast casual, very fun and colorful decor and feels new and SO CLEAN! Like everything was so clean and shiny lol. Very good impression!//FOOD//* Fish tacos - a must! Wow this is one of the best fish tacos in the area! It's hard to find a good one around here except maybe 2 other restaurants. The tortillas here was amazing and that batter was so crispy! But the sauce they used had a smokiness to it that I loved * Al Pastor tacos - such a unique and delicious taco! I haven't had Al pastor like this before with a really deep smoky yet rich flavor to it! So good and again great tortillas* Quesadilla Flower of Squash - it was pretty good but I felt it was lacking some flavor or maybe a sauce! But it was refreshing and a good meat alternative! * Churros - so yummy! Tasted freshly fried //SERVICE//The lady who helped us ( i think an owner or daughter because her mom was cooking!) was so friendly!//OVERALL//Don't sleep on this spot! It's amazing

I recently visited Casita's Taco in Mission Viejo for lunch, hoping to take advantage of their Taco Tuesday special. Unfortunately, I discovered it doesn't start until 3 pm, so be sure to plan your visit accordingly! Despite missing the deal, I decided to try a couple of tacos: the al pastor and the fish taco.The real star of the show at Casita's is undoubtedly their handmade tortillas. Oh my goodness, they were absolutely incredible! You can truly taste the soft, fresh masa in every single bite. It made a world of difference and elevated the entire taco experience.While the tortillas were phenomenal, the al pastor taco itself was just okay. It lacked the sweet and juicy pork flavor I typically associate with a good al pastor. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.However, the fish taco was a completely different story! It was absolutely delicious. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish inside was perfectly flaky and white. It was a perfectly executed fish taco and definitely a highlight of my meal.Overall, Casita's Taco is worth a visit, especially for the incredible handmade tortillas. While the al pastor wasn't my favorite, the fish taco was a winner, and I'd be eager to try other options on the menu. Just remember, Taco Tuesday starts after 3 pm!

Casitas tacos are amazing! I was in the area and Ive been looking for a good Mexican food spot near me so I thought I'd try it out. I got one asada taco to try it out and it was great, so I decided to get one more asada and try a pastor taco. These tacos are so flavorful you can tell they're made with fresh ingredients. They have spicy atomic salsa and it was bomb. The cashier lady was very nice and kind as well. They have a great taco Tuesday deal The ambience was great too and I can't wait to come back! Will definitely be here often

My go-to spot for Mexican food in Mission Viejo! The fish tacos and carne asada are hands down the best in the area. Their fresh-made chips are always crispy, and the variety of sauces takes everything to the next level. Super friendly service, too--feels like home every time. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

We tried this restaurant for the first time and were so impressed! We tried the esquite, asada fries, carnitas taco, and asada quesadilla. Everything was delicious and the people working were so kind and attentive. We'll be adding this to our rotation of local restaurants!

My husband and I stopped by for lunch on Super Bowl Sunday. Loved their food so much I came back on Monday for more. So glad they are close to where I live - I'm sure to be a regular customer. Food is fresh and the service is excellent - highly recommend!

I have been to this restaurant a few times, absolutely love it! I am Mexican and found that they have some of the most authentic dishes. Delicious food, and so important to all support small business. Try them out!!

So good! Everyone loved their meal. The fish taco was amazing on the homemade tortilla.If you are eating there, they will come to your table to take your order. They serve chips and give you small containers to help yourself to the salsa bar. The staff was super friendly and nice! The only thing that I did not like was that the door remained open while we were there so it was freezing inside. Maybe it gets too hot in the kitchen? Anyway, definitely worth trying. I'm sure we will be coming back soon.

Amazing food, first time tried the crunchy tacos and I was absolutely shocked when I took a bite of the most amazing taco ever. The salsas they offer are absolutely amazing Since then I have come another time and am hoping to go many times. The service is amazing. They are so kind and just the best people. If you are looking for some good food come here!
