Overall a good experience. The noodles were really good and the lo mein was flavorful. String beans are a must order! Dim sum options were okay. The service was a bit slow, drinks left empty before asking for refills. Everyone was really nice though :)Really clean and spacious inside. Didn't have to wait for a table when we arrived for dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across a good Chinese restaurant near one of my OC offices. Capital Noodle Bar is a descendant of Kim Tar Restaurant, and it definitely reminded me of Chinese food I had growing up in Southern California. I really like their Hong Kong style chow mein with beef. Their noodles are really crispy and the flavour of the dish was spot on. I also had their yeung chow fried rice, which was also really good. For drinks, I had their milk tea, which unfortunately does not have boba. The prices are also reasonable. The interior of the restaurant pays homage to the Kim Tar restaurant in Chinatown. The staff here is also really nice. I am surprised the locations are focused on Orange County. I really like Capital Noodle Bar for Chinese food compared to Chinese restaurants in Rowland Heights.

Without any other Asian noodle spots nearby, this bar serves pretty good dishes and a slightly higher price. Nothing was greasy and the taste is more contemporary -rather traditional.Additionally, the place is a nice sit down to hangout indoors and outside. The service was fast and on point as to when to follow up.Because I have visited other noodle restaurants, I cannot say this place is worth visiting again, unless I have family and/ or friends craving noodles in town.

Came here to try their crispy fried noodle and it did not disappoint! I've been looking for a place in brea with crispy fried noodles and was a little sus about theirs at first but it wasn't bad! Ambiance is decent, I would say they should clean out their restaurant a little better.Service was great. 4/5 stars

Reliable and tastes good. A solid place to go if you're this type of food. Good service as we went with a few children. They accommodated us well.

We order one bento, one pad kee mao, one wings to share among three. These three dishes are all decent. Wings are very flavorful and juice. It tastes the best when it came out from the kitchen. The store was not busy on a Saturday evening. They have some free refill tea options. The server refills the tea quickly. It is one of the little cushion store in Brea if you are craving Asian food.

This is a decent noodle place in Brea. We ordered the Char Siu egg noodles, siu mai, and shrimp egg roll. Tip: if you order any dim sum it takes 25 mins for it to come out. Your entree will come out before your dim sum.The service is okay. They at least refill your water without having to ask them to. The restaurant is please clean with ample seating. Overall, this is a decent noodle place if you craving Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese noodles & rice dishes this is your spot.

Such a good place if you're craving noodles!! I ordered their black pepper beef udon and it was chefs kiss!!! The beef was so tender and the whole dish in itself was SOOOO flavorful. It was such a big portion, it could be shared between two people. Also, don't forget the free milk buns with check in. Unfortunately they ran out when we were there so they gave us chinese donuts instead. Will definitely be back again!!

At first glance, Capital Noodle Bar has a modern interior and a good ambiance. The service was pretty good and the seating decently comfortable. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. We ordered two lunch special items: the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken. When they first came out, I was a bit disappointed to see that they basically filled one of the sections of the bento with frozen corn/veg. Next, the cooked broccoli was cold with salad dressing (why not use fresh salad instead?). The pickled cucumber bites, the rice, and the proteins were pretty good, but as a whole, the lunch specials were a bit disappointing. The fried sweet buns with condensed milk were just the right amount of crispy and yummy, but the chicken buns, on the other hand, were over steamed and somewhat soggy. Overall, based on this experience, I can't say we'll be coming back.

The service was exceptional, and we felt welcomed right away. We sat in the lovely outdoor seating area with our dog, who was given a water bowl--such a thoughtful touch! The food was delicious, especially the stir-fried green beans and spicy garlic wings. The HK-style beef chow fun and black pepper beef udon were standout dishes. The overall vibe of the place was lively yet laid-back. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommend for both food lovers and dog owners!
