Cabo Wabo Beach Club

Bad inside our hotel stay. Mexican Cuisine, I ordered the ceviche and they had 3 different kinds. I love the fish and lobster kind, I ordered the lobster. $32 I wish they would do 4 tostadas not 3. Also the lemon that they gave me was so dry, I asked the bartender for more :). The ceviche as a whole was delicious! Service was pretty fast. The bar wasn't really packed at all for a Saturday night. The was a man playing some good music as well.

This place was fantastic! I ordered the Mex Bowl with lemon-marinated shrimp, served with rice and black beans, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. My friend and I also shared the lobster tacos. They normally come with three, but we asked for an extra so we could each have two--they were absolutely delicious.The service was excellent; our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Since it was a Wednesday night, we grabbed seats at the bar, which had a relaxed vibe with only a few other guests around. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the music added to the experience.

All the hype about this new 'Rockin place to go!' was nothing special. It is located inside the hotel, parking is valet only. If you're lucky to find street parking it's on PCH and you'll need to walk all the way around the block to the hotel entrance! Service was very slow, food wasn't great! The ambiance is nice, seated outside near the pool area, but you have the noise of the pool guests. The Bar is small with minimal Sammy Hagar memorabilia displayed. The hotel gift shop has a few items for purchase, also minimal choices. Over priced. One perk! The restaurant validates parking! I'm not sure what non validated parking cost would be, but we were charged $10.

The place looked very nice and it was fun seeing the Rock and Roll memorabilia! However, my food was failing grade. I ordered the chicken fajitas. There were just 5-6 small pieces of chicken, the bell peppers were not cut to normal bite sized pieces, and it was the most oily fajitas I have ever seen. There was something like two tequila shots worth of oil volume sitting at the bottom. The dish wasn't even seasoned well and wasn't tasty. Moreover, it costs $32 dollars, and with tax and tip that is over $40 for poor quality food. The meal can't be bland, oily, small portion of chicken and expensive on top of that. Perhaps the other foods are good, but stay away from the chicken fajitas!!

Went down here at cabo wabo after Offshore 9 rooftop bar. They have a decent selection of food items and drinks. There was a live acoustic performance. Place is clean and cozy. Great place to hang out.

Whoa, what a change from the previous place that was here! We enjoyed our meal here. Thankfully, we had resort credit so we were able to indulge a little bit. FYI, there is a kids menu but you won't able to find it online here (I also forgot to take a quick snap to post). If you don't like tacos, you can have a salad or a burger. :)

Came here on a random trip to the OC. I was craving Mexican food so I decided to spend the day at the Cabo Wabo beach club. My group and I were seated near the pool area. I ordered an old fashioned & the chicken flautas for an appetizer and birria tacos for my entrée. As we waited for the food to arrive, we received chips and salsa. Unfortunately, chicken flautas had zero seasoning but luckily some hot sauce was provided. The birria tacos were surprisingly AMAZING! Highly recommend

Not bad for hotel food! Highly recommend the sizzling fajitas. Great attentive service here. Pricey and no wait time during lunchtime. Ambiance was well done, and clean establishment.

The restaurant is in a wonderful location and from here you can get a nice view of one of the pools and the beach. If you can get to another restaurant then do that... this one is not very good. I'm fact it's shockingly bad. It's is also crazy expensive! They want you to sign over your 401k for a sad quesadilla! I got the shrimp fajitas because I was traveling on the company dime. The size of the plate wasn't bad but the shrimp were pretty tasteless. The tortillas were also super bad... it's almost as if they had to try to get them to be that awful. When I asked for salsa they looked at me like I'd asked for drawn butter. It is telling when you order a fajita plate and they are unable to produce edible salsa.The bar is hopping at night or it was when I was there. If you're into being social then stop over to see if it's happening. However if you want good food try some place else!
