"I came here with a friend on a Thursday at 12 pm, luckily not a long wait (5 minutes) since it was a nice day out, we decided to sit outside. My friend recommended this place so many times and I finally caved to try it and I'm so glad I did. Hip old diner feel, if that makes any sense lol the service was fast and staff was nice! EATS:They have this 57 cent? dip/ spread deal that's comes with crackers, the seasonal dip was cream cheese with apples and some other goodies- I didn't take a picture of it but I did eat it all. I think that's a fun and cheap add on appetizer before your meal! TUSCAN KALE AND TURKEY SALAD- so yummy, you can't tell by the picture but this was a big salad, I only finished about a 3rd and ate the rest for dinner. The salad had baby kale, l turkey, parmesan cheese, dried cranberries, candied pecans, avocado and homemade croûtons with a l lemon poppy seed vinaigrette, it was fresh and delicious and I would order again! They have an extensive menu for any type of foodie and also serve alcohol! I'm excited to come back and bring my husband :)"
"Was looking for lunch on a meatless Friday and happened upon this place. Located in the pretty unknown Lucky Supermarket, this restaurant and the Hans restaurants a few stalls down totally bumped up the stars on this supermarket. So upon walking in, I saw a worker portioning out pipping hot food into the to-go containers. It was a mixture of fried tofu softened by the mixture of sauces and this bitter green cabbage, forgot the name. I saw a lady have a sample of the mixture and I couldn't help myself had to ask for one too. So glad I did because it was freaking amazing. Got a tub of that tofu mixture and an eggplant tub. All tubs of that size are $6 which I think is a little pricey but the soups are cheap so I guess it evens out. I also got 2 soups: Banh canh and hu tieu both $11 and so good! There were so many items that were included that made these 2 dishes excel in quality. We also got a bunch of random things that equaled to $46. During checkout one of the cashiers threw in an extra Banh it Tran. It's the white doughy thing that has mung beans inside. I don't know how much we have to buy to get that complimentary Banh it tran but I would totally buy that on my own it was so good. Would totally go here and try their Cha lua. That was in the 2 soup dishes and it was yummy. Also CASH ONLY and it's a to-go place with 2 tables to sit and eat."

"My dad came into town for the day visiting the San Pedro area. He loves traditional waffles (not Belgian). This place did not disappoint. Once we came in we were immediately seated and the waitress came right away. I had the pecan waffle while may dad had the regular. We both enjoyed our food and experience here. On the way out we met one of the owners, Mona. She was very sweet and asked us how we were and if we like the food. One thing I appreciate is great customer service as well as caring people. It's hard to find now days. If you're ever in the area give this place a try you won't regret it."

"The food is fine, the service is great and I love the decor on the inside.... but... what keeps me coming here all the time is the Kheer - Rice Pudding! It is game changing rice pudding. I rate this place 5 stars because the rice pudding is "that" delicious. The Kheer (rice pudding) has a great thick, but not too thick consistency, it has slivered almonds, golden raisins and is topped with ground pistachio. It is absolutely delicious and one of it's kind. When I am in the area, I would stop by to get a couple of rice puddings to go with the ground pistachio on the side. It is just delicious and easily one of my favorite desserts of all time. Thank you Royal Khyber for the delicious Kheer!"
"Bo De Vegetarian Food is venue located at a corner of an old strip mall -- part takeout and part sit down restaurant. The front entrance throws you off with a hodgepodge of a rickshaw, an out of place Italian cook and an outdoor seating. Upon walking in, a table of prepackaged foods and a lion head (probably leftover from Lunar Year celebration) is in full displayed. In the background, country music is playing. However, don't let this fool you.The service from the friendly and engaging staff is wonderful. The selection and vegetarian food are full of flavors. The first time we visited, we opted to sit in and enjoy the full service. The booths were very well decorated with Buddhism symbolism. We ordered the steam rice rolls with mock meat (3/5). The texture of the steamed rice rolls were dry and not tender. We also tried the kungpoa "chicken" (4/5). The dish was surprisingly very food, crisp and flavorful. The second visit (and likely more in the future), we turned to the left side which are to-go takeout counters of pre-made food. There are usually a dozen choices -- selection varies and tofu curries are only available the 15th of each month (lunar calendar). We ordered 4-5 vegetarian dishes --- stirred fried eggplant, bitter squash melon soup, fried tofu patties and mock "catfish ". My only complaint -- the temperature of the food is cool. I was surprised no hot water or heat lamp to keep the food warm.Otherwise, I'll keep returning to support this establishment. I wish the price-model sticks to labeled on each container size. A couple times, I question the charges."
"The service was okay, not nice but gets the job done. The place is pretty crowded and the area for sugar and such hasn't been cleaned in a while. The chai was honestly not even chai, like flavored milk. Please don't get it, no amount of sugar helps it. The sweets are okay but the experience is very overwhelming."
"Happy hour is so worth it!! Much needed after workGio was our server today and he was great! What we ordered:It's MezmerizingPicante MargaritaCheese curdsFried calamariPoke nachosThe carnivore"
"Great vegan food with believable meat alternatives. Everything was fresh and well prepared. It is a tiny restaurant with only about 3 people working at a time (2 cooking, 1 serving), but it was very good. The server was very nice and did her best to manage the entire front, which she did quite well even during rushes. I will definitely be back!"
"As most restaurants in Irvine were closed by 10:30-11pm, my friend and I discovered Kirin. As we arrived, only one table of diners were left eating, and we figured they were closing sooner than we thought. After self-ordering at the kiosk, we received our food shortly and then a worker came up to inform us they actually closed at 11:20pm, not 11:45pm. We did have to shove the food down, but I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty everything was. The noodles in my Pork Sparerib Noodle were soft and chewy, and I can tell they were made fresh. I enjoyed how easily the pork on the sprerib fell off the bone. The toppings of peas and Bok choy were added some nice greens to the bowl and was good with the broth. The soup wasn't too salty either, and I added their chili oil and some soy sauce for more flavor. My friend liked his Dan Dan Noodles, however, his sauce was more of a soupy appearance instead of a Dan Dan Sauce. We both enjoyed our meals here and were satisfied quickly!"
"The staff was really kind! Very, very accommodating and checks up on you a lot. The food is super fresh and healthy with a lot of vegetables offered. Very delicious and flavorful and everything is vegan, which is great! Everything is super nutritious and delicious and it's honestly such a healthy option to eat out. Also, the environment is very, very nice and calm. The ambience is so beautiful and the decorations are very thoughtful."
"Great authentic food, perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sun. We got the chorizo, egg and potato burrito, a fish taco, an asada burrito added egg, and the chicken enchiladas. Their salsa is really good, too! It's a nice pit stop for food if you enjoy real Mexican food. Service was awesome. To drink they sell waters, sodas, etc. the burritos are fat, filling and good."

Cute little boutique/ restaurant! I got the Tuna sandwich and my colleague got a salad and the food was good. The service was also good. I wish we had been greeted/ shown to a seat upon entering because of the layout of the place but overall we had a good experience and the are they have hung is super cool!

Y'all finding this place was a bit hard because this baker used to be in bolsa and you know vietnamese mom not knowing the address just go head and turn here. Well a couple of months back, we head over to the location in bolsa, only to find out he moved but didn't know where. Y'all my vietnamese mom went on a mission (keep in mind we don't live in the area anymore) tell me why my mother went grocery shopping in OC and asked a ton of people in the market to find this man. The hunt of this man came to a stop when someone told her he's set up a shop in the grocery shop Best Choice, a grocery my mother and I, don't go because there's other Vietnamese supermarkets in Westminster area. We came here for one thing only. BANH FREAKING TIEU THEY ARE MASSIVE!! And only for a dollar make y'all money holla. Hot and fresh! They also sell other vegetarian food but banh tieu is where the money at! The ambiance is okay, just block out the fish smell coming from the grocery store. Your mission is just in n out to grab that banh tieu.

I am not even a waffle person, but I eat the waffles here! The pumpkin waffles and pecan waffles are my favorites! What I love is that they're not super thick and the sweetness is just right. I've always turned away from waffles that are overly sweet and then topped with more sweet (syrup, whipped cream, and everything else) The service is great. The coffee (vanilla coffee for me) is delicious, and the place is clean and cozy. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in San Pedro for sure!

We arrived for lunch at 12:45 not knowing it was buffet dining and they closed just over an hour later. My party and I went there for a business meeting. It was a 59 mile drive to get there and neither of us noticed the fine print next to the entrance stating the closing time. While the buffet looked good, I asked if they had "chicken saagwala." The young no nothing waiter said he'd have to ask the manager. Same guy returned and asked to spell what I wanted. I spelled letter by letter and he seemed even more confused. The manager came over, I asked him and he said, "Do you mean 'chicken saag'?" He was from India and asked me a stupid question like that. So I said yes and got the meal and simultaneously told they were closing in 20 minutes. I took my time eating and we went past closing time while the manager glared at us. They started to clear the buffet area and we both said we wanted the rice pudding for dessert. So we were brought two little cups and were told again they were closed. So we finished, paid the bill, left a full tip, not thanked and were led to the door which the manager locked behind us. As for Indian food I can say it was good. As for the experience, not memorable.

Bo De Vegetarian Food is hands down the best spot in town for vegetarian cuisine! Every time I visit, I have to order the com phần with ca chiến, cà tím, and canh chua. The flavors are incredible and truly satisfying. For an appetizer, the bò bía is a must-try! The rolls are perfectly wrapped and bursting with flavor, and the sauce is simply delicious. Another favorite of mine is the bird nest, featuring crispy noodles with a generous portion of vegetarian meats and vegetables. It's a delightful and hearty dish that never disappoints. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate a large number of guests comfortably. The staff is super nice and attentive, always ensuring a pleasant dining experience. They are also very patient, especially with my indecisive parents, who never felt rushed while making their choices.Overall, Bo De Vegetarian Food offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

A great spot for lunch or a snack! The Chana bhatura is my all time favorite thing to get here, but the aloo tikki chat is great as well! The only thing that could be improved on is they tend to forget about orders (after you order at the kiosk) and need to be reminded of what you ordered so it can be prepared. No problem, just show the receipt.

This is a good place to go and watch football games because they have lots of TVs and they placed them so there is a view no matter where you sit. Huge bar and good food. Service is good.

"MUST TRY: Bún Bò Xào XảThis place is definitely my favorite vegan restaurant ever. 10/10 on taste for every single dish I've tried here. Below is the food I most enjoy here: Bún Bò Xào XảMì QuảngBánh CanhBún Bì Chả Giò Mắm TháiBún TháiOther than those, their dishes to eat with rice are absolutely worth a try too. Please pay them at least 1 visit, I guarantee you will be satisfied."
"My BF came home with Mongolian "pork", honey walnut "shrimp" & green beans. Never heard of this place before and as I was eating it I didn't believe him for a second that it was all vegan. So much so I that I had to go on their website to see everything say vegan. I STILL didn't believe it so I had to call them lol. All this to show- their food is so tasty and I really thought it was real shrimp and pork! We'll be back :)"
"This is a great place for vegetarians since everything on the menu is vegetarian friendly. Since this is a Vietnamese establishment, everything they offer is a vegetarian version of common Vietnamese dishes such as Bun Bo Hue, Phoenix, Vermicelli, etc. Everything we ordered was delicious, but I think the Hu Tieu (noodle soup) was a bit bland.I recommend the following dishes: #31. Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio ($13.95), #9. Goi Mit - jackfruit/lotus salad ($14.95), and #10. Mi Xao Gion ($14.95).Service was great and the restaurant is spacious. The parking lot is a bit small, but if you come early, there will be no problem."
"I love this place, but damn it fell apart when they got a tad bit busy. Waited 45 mins, I was asked 2-3 times what I ordered! Count your change, the young girl does not know how to count and give it back. Where's Guy and the Taylor Swift music when you need him!!!! Only saving Grace is the food is great!!!"
"We went here for my moms birthday and it was our first time trying a plant based fine dining restaurant, and I don't know if any other place could top this experience. We were greeted by a beautiful interior and walked to our own dining room area which was beautifully decorated and had a gorgeous ikebana setup. Our server made this whole experience so great too, she was so sweet!I got the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu while my mom got the 5-course vegan menu. It was $63 per person (an absolute steal) and it filled us up and we felt great after! To be transparent I cannot remember all of the names of each dish but there was a story behind every single one that our waitress explained each time, and I loved how intentional it was. Every dish was also so tasty, I was so impressed with how much flavor there was in the vegan courses. Such a great way to celebrate, my mom had the best time ever and we were left feeling full, happy, and in awe. I know they change their vegetarian menu every new farming season, and the vegan one stays the same (I believe). I would pass on the mock tails and get actual alcohol next time. Thank you for the best experience, I can't wait to come back to try the next tasting menu!"
"Our experience was great. Friendly and quick service. We weren't sure if the food was going to live up to the hype, but we were really impressed. Clean, vegan and very flavorful. We started with the purple taquitos with guac and jalapeño. My fiancé got the chilaquiles Rojas and I got the chipotle Florentine. I've never been able to eat most of these foods, but the vegan options were not only aesthetically pleasing- they were delicious! Also, highly recommend the peach mojito and the pineapple/pear cider. Both were great. Located in The Lab, this area was unique and eclectic. Highly recommend for vegans/vegetarians new to the area. Has an artsy vibe. We hit up Bootleggers brewery right after, down the walkway. Just a great experience overall."
"Good place for Thai food in the RSM area. My mom, sister, and I like to get Thai massages across the street, and Thai Smile is our post-massage dinner place. I usually get their Tom Kha Gai soup with brown rice, which is creamy from the coconut milk but still light and tangy. My sister really enjoys their yellow curry. For dessert, the mango sticky rice is so delicious and I highly recommend it. While I can't comment on the authenticity, I've enjoyed all the dishes I have had so far and would recommend it to anyone craving Thai food."
"Pretty darn delicious, my coworkers eat here religiously. The attention they give the customers is superb, quick and accommodating. Really chill spot, huge portions. Love the egg rolls"
"cute little restaurant! i got the pad thai (extra spicy of course) and it packed a great punch. one of the few places that doesn't play when you ask for extra spicy. i ordered over the phone and my food was ready by the time i arrived. it was clear that they have their formula on lock and the portion was fair. big pieces of chicken and tofu. it wasn't overly saucy or dry, just a solid pad thai. can't wait to come back and try the other dishes :)"
"Came in for the lunch menu. 2 items w/rice, both chicken, both in a sauce, both unique and tasty Included with the Lunch Special is naan (2 pieces). I went plain, but they do have options.Service: pleasant service with a smile."
"My 1st job was making pizza & have enjoyed pizza ever since,so I think I have a strong opinion on pizza. This is one of the best pizzas I have had!For the 1st time, I ordered a Deluxe Pizza and noticed a slightly sweeter crust, VERY good Tomato sauce & the Vegetables & Meat was very thickly cut!VERY NICE!I have never eaten here before but I will be back FOR SURE!!Thank for great food"
"Their menu is huge, so much variety it can be overwhelming.Hu Tieu Nam vang is pretty good compared to other Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants around OC.The accompanying greens that come with so many of the dishes are always fresh. The portions are very generous and everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious. The food is delicious but the service is hit or miss. If you're looking for high quality, vegetarian Vietnamese food with a great ambience, this is the place."
"This is a cute little spot along the beach with a great menu. They have pho and spicy lemongrass broth- we got both! We also ordered some yummy appetizers, a little pricey but super flavorful and savory. The cashier had some great recommendations and a great attitude."
"Long gone are the days where we only came to Lamplight Lounge to eat the infamous Lobster Nachos. Those are only served on the Boardwalk area and you'll find a complete menu with various appetizers and entrees at the actual Lamplight Lounge restaurant. Like any sit-down restaurant in Disneyland, if you don't have a reservation, then you're best bet is to start lining up before it opens to add your name to the waitlist. We got there early enough and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Everything is through texts so feel free to walk around the area while you're waiting. Just make sure you're back within 10 minutes of receiving the "ready" text.Brussels Caesar: I was honestly surprised by how delicious the Brussels were. I didn't expect a theme park restaurant to have high quality vegetable dishes but this was one of my favorite things we ordered. The brussels sprouts are roasted to a crisp, but not too burnt. And it stayed crispy despite the dressing mixed in. Highly recommend as a dish to share.Potato Skins: Misleading name because these weren't actually potato skins. They were like large, medallion-shaped hash browns. So good and crispy though! Comes with 5 pieces but it's easily split if you have a mismatched amount of people. And the paprika aioli and caper yogurt were perfect!Charbroiled Cheddar Burger: This tasted exactly what you would expect from an amusement park. It was a big burger and it came with a side of fries. But the patty was dry and lacking flavor. Vietnamese BBQ Pork Chop: Not sure if this was a special dish they had out for the Lunar New Year celebrations but it seemed interesting to try. The garlic noodles that comes with the dish is really good but the pork was just alright. It was a little dry and the char siu flavor tasted really artificial. Green Tea Donuts: Also not sure if this was special for LNY but we had to get it! Comes with 5 pieces and they're just regular donuts dipped in a really good matcha sauce. I was impressed and would get it again! I had a much better experience this time but not all of the food hit expectations. I wouldn't say it's worth waiting over an hour though so plan appropriately to have a reservation."
"Delicious food! Nice lady behind the counter. I love this Vegeterian take out when I am in the area. I would bring home a bunch of food for my family and I. Bun rieu & bun bo hue chay is delicious. Everything here is good. Good portion too! Delicious home made vegeterian food! Plenty of parking in the front & right next to lees sandwich"
"Still our favorite Thai food!! We've been eating here since they opened years ago and the quality and flavor are still amazing! Our favorites are the spicy eggplant with tofu (you can customize the spicy level on almost all the dishes so don't be scared to try it it's delicious!), the garlic pepper with chicken, the chow mein with chicken, the wonton soup, and the BBQ ribs. The veggies steal the show! They are always fresh and perfectly cooked and make eating healthy feel like an indulgence! The ambiance is nice and it's a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or for a dinner date. They also offer carry out and when we visit family and friends we order carry out almost every day!!!They are so knowledgeable and always friendly and their service is prompt despite everything being made fresh to order. We always recommend this restaurant to family and friends because it is just so good!!"
"Best pad Thai in Irvine! Fast, tasty, excellently prepared, generous portions. And make sure to get a few containers of the delicious hot sauce! It's a simple and unassuming spot, but I've tried everywhere in Irvine and it's still my fave. The owners are so sweet as well. Always great service with a smile."
"Adding a long overdue review for Skal because we have been coming here almost once per week for a while now because of how much we love this place. It's tucked away in Lido Marina and it's just perfect for a weekend lunch. Our go-to almost every visit is the Sunflower Ratatouille salad and avocado pizza--and my other half loves the saffron miso pasta. Everything is so incredibly fresh, service is efficient and quick, and the wood fire pizza oven smells oh so amazing. Not pictured here, but equally as incredible, is the roasted zucchini... They also have a hot dog during Oktoberfest pictured here made with their pizza dough and some incredibly delicious ingredients. My boyfriend absolutely lovvveeeed this thing and was so sad when they removed it from the menu at the end of the month."
"As I'm sitting here, waiting for my delicious food to arrive at my table, I was just thinking that I can't believe I haven't reviewed one of my favorite places to eat.Not only does this place serve up amazing vegan Vietnamese food, but it is just all around an amazing Vietnamese food.My go to is usually the vermicelli rice bowl (massive) and/or pho and when we order food to go we usually order food for a couple of days because, really, the price also can't be beat. Oh, another great staple is their fried rice. It's a small place with a few tables inside and it seems like a family affair with maybe one in the front one in the back cooking. The service is quick and kind.Whatever they are doing I hope they keep doing it because I love coming here. The only downside is they are not open for lunch."
"Food was great! Super yummy. Service is quick and convenient. Ambiance is clean, but only outside seating."
"Try them! Great location, ambiance, food, and service. Inspired by a yelp review, we went for dinner. My husband said it's the best vegan restaurant he's ever experienced! And we've been to many. Their soup of the day was a spicy kimchi. Since we don't like kimchi, I asked for a spoonful taste. Our accommodating waiter, Brandon, brought us a tiny cup. It was fantastic! We ordered it. Here's what all we tried: Kombu Cauliflower topped with a little purple cabbage kimchi, and skinny long sea beans. It's good and the plate was plentiful. Eggplant & Focaccia. The eggplant was properly cooked to soft. Sadly the baby tomatoes were tasteless, could have been roasted a bit longer. You may like the tomato jam on the thick slice of Focaccia bread, I would prefer it to be a little firmer and sweeter. This is a tasty appetizer. Butter Beans ~ I would not order again ~ because of taste and price. I know it's an appetizer, but the quantity was scat for $10. The beans tasted no different than from a can. While I very much enjoyed the Nori tapenade, I very much disliked the sour tasting cultured G.O.A.T cheese (cashews) they were sitting atop of. Tiny real flowers were a nice touch. The service was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Our primary server was Brandon, but others helpfully assisted too. Brandon gave us what he called an "amuse immunity". That was a nice, tasty surprise that we can all use especially during winter. He also gave us an extra reason to return soon ~ a card for a complementary appie (expires in 1 month). We'll be trying the XO Cabbage appie ($16 chard cabbage) when come back."
"I love this place never disappoint. It's healthy it's fresh. Service is very helpful and indoor and outdoor seating."
"Calling out to my Vegetarian-Yelper, be ready to be bedazzled by a small family own restaurant!I recently visited Hoa Sen, and I'm so glad I found this gem in Westminster! As I try to incorporate more plant-based eats, it's a bit challenge to find a spot with truly delicious and satisfying plant-based dishes, that serves great Chinese/Vietnamese flavors and styles. I found a several in Westminster that's worth a trip!! Yippee. From the moment I walked into Hue San, the atmosphere was inviting, with friendly hostesses and staff ready to serve. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of flavorful Vietnamese dishes made entirely from plant-based ingredients. I like the old school "placemats" which are those paper Chinese astrology. :)It was hard to choose what to order, but we ordered papaya salad, crispy noodles, "fish" and the spring rolls--all four were amazing! 1- The papaya salad is a must. I think I pretty much ate this whole plate that was meant to be shared.2- Vitamins spring rolls had the perfect balance of fresh herbs and savory fried tofu.3- The fish dish was too salty but very aromatic. My friends liked it.4- The vegetables crispy noodles were "meh" and drenched with thick sauce.Overall, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The only downside was that parking can be a little tricky (one-way round about), as the location shares with other businesses."
