"Food and service are 5 stars all the way. The place is very clean and definitely a place I'd come to again. The ambiance was pleasing."
"I have been to Urban Plates a few times before but not this location until recently. We had a wonderful experience here and were really impressed with the service provided by Eric. He really put in the effort to describe the food options and helped us pick which dish was best for what we were craving. He also made an effort to check on us throughout our meal.I have always enjoyed Urban Plates because the food is tasty and fresh. I recently purchased their Plate Pass which gives you 20% off every order and I have to say, it is well worth it. I think most of their dishes are reasonably priced but the discount makes them a steal! Anything with the steak is excellent and one of my favorites is the Chimichurri Steak. Yum!"

"Good food and knowledgeable, friendly service. We had pizza which was quite good. Asparagus appetizer was good but a little skimpy on asparagus. Big wine list. Prices are reasonable overall. Highly recommended."
"Amazing! My girlfriend and I decided to come here for date night after seeing the reviews from others. It lived up to its hype. This was one of my favorite dining experiences in a long time. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were among the most attentive I have ever seen. Our waiter must have stopped by our table at least a dozen times during our meal to refill water and offer more bread and butter. The food was exquisite. Portions are small but my girlfriend and I liked that. I got the Japanese pumpkin ravioli and she got the pan seared scallop Risotto. They were both amazing. For dessert, we got the almond pear tart and profiteroles. We loved both of those as well! The night that we went, there was live music which made the experience even more fun. We will definitely consider coming back here again for another date night in the future!"
"Yeah, it's a great sandwich. It's been years since I've been to Cortina's. I've only visited the Anaheim location, but Orange is less chaotic and we were feeling like sandwiches today so we went for it.1130 is still a solid time to visit. The food arrived quickly and we were able to find seating without an issue. The sandwiches prices have definitely gone up, but they are pretty large so it you at least get a very full meal out of them. No major complaints from the table. Overall, all the food was enjoyed. I probably have the biggest gripe-I was the only one that got a hot sandwich, the chicken marinara, and my biggest issue is that it was at best lukewarm so the temperature was just not right. Cheese wasn't melted enough. It could've used some extra time warming it up however they do it. This is not the type of sandwich you want to eat at room temperature. It still tasted good and the bread is fantastic. Now that I returned, I want to run through the menu some more and knock out some other items. But let's be honest, the real reason I'll be coming back is because of the black cherry soda, which is delicious. If you've been there, you know. Most of people seem to get it. It's definitely a thing."
"Review long overdue! The best sandwiches my family and I've had, great bread, and great service. Try the soups too!"
"Always a family favorite for over 20+ years Great little hole in the wall. Grandkids grew up coming here."
"We were looking for a place to watch the World Series. Since we got out of work at start time it was tough to find a seat at any establishment. I called Rasselbock and they answered, confirming they had space available and the game on TV. When we arrived we were sat in the outdoor area and given art materials for ourselves and our child dinner partner. The game was in fact on tv with no sound because there was live entertainment. A gentleman playing the accordion entertained us while we drank and ate our scrumptious meal. As the weather was a bit chilly we found the perfect destination because the outdoor seating was covered and heated. The food was hearty and filling which is exactly what we needed. I tried the vegan schnitzel which was not beyond meat but another style and very tasty. Glad that they had vegan options as they were out of the chicken sausage. We gorged ourselves on the starters of bro fries and pretzels so I had the German salads with my meal. Great service and ambiance!"
"Food was delicious! We started with the heart antichuos which you have to eat right away, and was so good with the potato and corn. And, the calamar Frito, which was so good with the refreshing salad/salsa. Washed it all down with pisco sours, yum!The lomo saltado was very good, with tender meat, covered in flavorful sauce and plenty of fries and onions. The green sauce was spicier than most places. They ran out of bread. Staff was friendly, Def would come back!"
"Very well made Lebanese food. In an area with so many "Mediterranean cuisine" spots, Barbonzai does their menu well. Falafel wraps are good Chicken bowl was great If you ask, they can make cheese and zaatar flatbread (it's just not listed on the menu)."
"I love this place never disappoint. It's healthy it's fresh. Service is very helpful and indoor and outdoor seating."
"Fast service and delicious pizza! Can customize the pizzas :) would come back. I recommend this spot for any pizza lovers"

I'm not even vegan and I am a loyal fan of Vibe! I do have dietary restrictions though (lactose and gluten intolerant), so I have great peace of mind when ordering anything from the menu at Vibe. My regular go-to orders include the breakfast burrito (the hot sauces are amazing), the iron-man smoothie (perfect for post-workouts), and anything in their pastry box.I also have to say that the staff (and owner) here are all so wonderful and sweet. They always remember my face and greet me with such kindness.

Fantastic service and food!!We ordered strawberry lychee and mule cocktails for drinks, which were fantastic! We got the charred octopus for the appetizer, which was delicious and so tender. What was the highlight of our meal was the linguine, which was perfectly light yet flavorful without feeling greasy. The clams were delicious and not fishy. The steak was also super delicious and came covered in this spiced crust that added perfect amount of texture for each bite. Overall would highly recommend this restaurant for a more upscale meal!

I've been a loyal fan of Cortinas for years, but this was my first time visiting this location. It's a little storefront near a bunch of collision repair shops, with a few tables inside and some outdoor seating at the front. They're open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, but due to its popularity, parking can be tricky during lunchtime. Our favorites are the Cortina's Special (a mix of cold cuts with Italian dressing) and the Rocky Balboa (warm roast pork with broccoli rabe, served with au jus for dipping). Both sandwiches come in 6 or 10 inches, and the 6-inch is the perfect portion for a satisfying lunch. When dining in, you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

The Italian and their bread is just so good! I have been back several times and it's fast, delicious and very nice people. It's expensive but you get what you pay for in my opinion!

Solid Mexican food place. It doesn't try and be more than what it is. Just good solid food. Best Chile Riano I've had a Newport! Definitely plan on going back. Fast service. They do charge .50 cents for soda refills.

I have been in Germany and this restaurant has the best German food I've found in California. The Schnitzel was just like Bavarian Schnitzel. The Saurkraut was not the mushy American kind, but fresh, crisp and wonderful. The Kartofeln Pfnannekuchen was a great start. The Service was excellent, though nobody in the place spoke German. that would have been fun, but the service itself is far more important. The service staff was attentive but not "hovering".The Ambience was good, but being in California it wasn't like a German place. They did their best, but that was the least of my concerns. The food and service made up for it. The other patrons were friendly as well. Wunderschön!

"I work at a school in Westminster, and I am always looking for different local businesses to try. When lunchtime approaches, my coworker and I are often stumped when deciding what to try. She mentioned Esther's Place as she had eaten there a few times with another colleague. I am always up for a good sandwich, so we agreed on this restaurant for lunch. My coworker picked up the food and brought it back. She mentioned to the owner that I had not yet eaten at this place. The owner was so sweet and gave a complimentary cup of soup since I was a brand new customer. Gotta love small businesses who show appreciation for new patrons!I had the chicken salad on wheat bread, and a vegetable soup which was perfectly hot on this cool, crispy day. The vegetable soup was flavorful and I did not feel like I was missing a protein. It had potatoes, celery, and carrots, perfectly cooked. Broth was tasty, would definitely purchase this in the future. The chicken salad was fresh and light, not lost in mayonnaise. The bread was fresh as well, and the vegetables offered a nice crunch to the sandwich.Esther's Place uses quality ingredients to deliver a quality dining experience. Will definitely be adding this spot to our lunchtime rotation. Thank you!"
"Our kids loved dining at Olive Garden when we lived in Lynnwood, WA. After moving to Irvine, CA, we go there regularly for the lunch special. The Irvine location is the best one in Orange County. The service is consistently excellent, making each visit a pleasant experience. Our kids enjoy the kids' menu and love dipping the signature breadsticks into the Zuppa Toscana and Chicken Gnocchi soups. They always say it's so tasty.I highly recommend it for a delightful family meal!"
"When you're in the mood for a an awesome sammich, Second Reef Deli should definitely be on the list. Having been here now a couple times, it's quickly becoming my go-to when I have a sandwich craving to fill! My favorites are the pastrami sandwiches, both the grinder and the Ruben. The bread is always toasted perfectly, the pastrami super yummy and the balance of all the ingredients is perfect, never too much bread, or too much meat or too much fluff. The service is always great. My last visit an older gentleman was there with (I believe) his wife, and while I was waiting he walked around giving waiting patrons a bag of chips and and said "here's a bag of chips while you wait!" Now how awesome is that! I've had a few different sandwiches now and have not been disappointed. Great food, great service and a great price, what's not to love!"
"I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! Would definitely come back. This restaurant is located in a small shopping center (other stores include Banana Republic, Williams Sonoma, and Fetneh Blake Concept, as well as many other eateries). It is within walking distance of Crystal Cove State Park. There is a pretty big parking lot but parking can be tough to find in the evening. My party of two arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and we were immediately seated. You can also make a reservation if you want to be safe. The ambiance is fancy but not too fancy, which I thought was perfect. Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and provided great recommendations. Food was served very quickly. We were started off with complimentary bread and mushrooms. Before we were able to finish that, our dishes started to come out.For an appetizer, we got an apple and candied walnut salad (I don't know the name because it was recommended by our waiter). The kitchen was able to serve the salad on two plates so that my friend and I could share the salad. The kitchen was very, very generous with the candied walnuts. Perhaps a little too generous as the walnuts made up almost half of the salad, but I appreciate that they didn't skimp on it. The capellini checa, which was also recommended by our waiter, was sooo good and well-flavored. I highly recommend it! We added shrimp for $9 and were given six good-sized shrimps. Portion size was goods I ended up bringing home about a third of my plate. In short, I would definitely come back here."
"The service was great, our waitress was friendly and efficient. We were catching a movie and she was able to take our order almost immediately. We ordered tacos - carne asada and shrimp. Just something quick and safe since we were short on time. Unfortunately, the carne asada was a bit dry and lacking flavor. The shrimp tacos were good though. Perhaps next time we will try something else."
"I haven't been to the Crab Cooker for a couple of years and driving by decided to stop in for a quick lunch. It was a bit after 2pm so maybe 20% full. I ordered the steamed clams which were delicious. Of course at the Crab Cooker all food is served on paper/plastic plates with plastic utensils. My clams arrived steaming hot in the broth they were steamed in. They were delicious with the melted butter. As all steamed clams lovers know the best part of the meal is dunking fresh bread in the clam broth. None was brought with the meal so I asked my server if I could have some bread. She advised me that bread didn't come with it so if I wanted some I'd have to buy it. She brought out a loaf of bread, sliced, I said she could slice it, in 10 big slices. I was by myself so I did enjoy 2 of the big slices dipped in the broth. The price of this loaf of bread is $4.95. on top of the steamed clams. I understand if a person wants bread for the table it would be fair if a restaurant wants to charge for it. But I don't think it's good customer service to serve a dish like this without a slice or 2 of bread. I left the majority of the bread on the table. I could have taken it but I'm not a big bread eater except when I want it for special meals. I live alone and there was no one to share with. I'm very disappointed with the "chicken poo poo ' attitude of this restaurant and I'm taking the time to call them out."
"Too Sushi is a very good place if you like sushi. Sushies in this location are great. Not only taste good but also they look healthy. I am not sure if they are from organic wild catch though. Try it for yourself you wouldn't be disappointed."
"My vendor friend and I came here for a drink after lunch. This café is pretty cute and there was a lot of indoor seating for you to pick from. You order from the kiosk and they'll call your name when the order is done. Minimal contact with staff. My vendor friend got the 16oz Iced Tea ($2.70) and I ordered a 20oz Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35). We both enjoyed our drinks. The matcha was good quality and it was a nice drink for me to take with me on the road. We sat ourselves while waiting for the order and there were crumbs left by the previous patrons. They didn't look too busy when we came in so I don't see why they can't keep the place clean. I also got a Cachi Special ($10.75) sandwich togo for my sweet boyfriend. It comes with grilled chicken, prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, grilled mushrooms, fresh basil, olive tapenade and balsamic vinegar served on focaccia bread. I asked him how it was and it sounds dry and bready. Also when he was eating it I noticed him peeling off some bread around the edges where there was no filling. Probably not something we would get again. I think I'll stick to their drinks and skip the food here. Would consider another iced match if I find myself back in the area."
"Mendocino Farms sandwiches are my favorite! This location is located inside Whole Foods at The District shopping center. To go straight here, enter all the way to the right of Whole Foods.I've been coming here for years and don't have any complaints of the taste or quality of their sandwiches or sides. My go-to is Mary's Not So Fried Chicken! This is the only place I'll order a chicken sandwich because it's so flavorful and filling! My second fave is the Farm Club which is their turkey avocado sandwich that also hits the spot!On top of ordering MANY single orders of sandwiches here, I've ordered catering twice. It is easy to order catering online - all prices and menu items available are listed. Upon picking up, the catering orders were always correct and held the same quality! The sandwiches are displayed nicely and labeled which is so convenient! I've been here when there have been sandwich promotions which draws a very large crowd. Huge shoutout to the staff who handle it all so well and still provide the yummy sandwiches that I love!Seating is available inside and outside. Since it is inside Whole Foods situated next to a bar, it can be on the noisier side."
"OMG! First time there and it's a hidden amazing spot. The food was so rich in taste and delicious I literally cleaned my plate! Everything was fresh. The service was great and so polite! Loved it def coming back. Super casual no fuss and kinda empty for how great the food was' loved it"
"Great local neighborhood spot. Food was delicious, had an omelette for breakfast. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend."
"Great service. Very attentive staff. Naomi checked in at each table to ensure guests were enjoying their meal. Great food!"
"Been coming here for years, it never disappoints. I usually order my food to good. Im good with the chicken, pitas and the awesome garlic sauce. My fiancé loves the shawarma. Chicken is always tender and juicy and combined with the pita and garlic sauce, it is definitely a winner. I have never had a better rotisserie chicken anywhere else. The"
"5 stars for nostalgia. I just had to do it. All you people that know what I'm talking about, just go back. Clearly I don't live in HB anymore, but just said why not. Rainbow drink will do it. The bartender was super cool, vibe still there. Don't be scared, live it up. Ps. I didn't try the food."
"Let me just say .... been following this spot on IG for quite some time now. We happen to be in the area today and decided to finally give it a try. Soooo happy we did!! This spot is legit good! I had the pastrami ... ordered it without mustard and unfortunately it had mustard on it when I sat down to eat but I took it back to the counter and within 3-4 minutes I had a fresh mustard free sandwich! It was delish! My husband had the chicken cacciatore sandwich which was also good and we ordered a meatball just to give it a try. It's a busy little spot, we hit it right at 3:30 and it was easy breazy but by the time we left the line was loooong! Any place with a line that long has got to be good! When we are in the area, we will definitely stop again! Next time I plan to order a pizza!"
"Good tasting burger but not as big as it was before. Onion rings were well made and tasted good. I particularly enjoy their condiments selection with an assortment of peppers. That is a plus"
"Been a minute since I'd have been in and I love the expanded menu. I'll be back again and againFood is excellent service is quick and it's a good place to chill and eat."
"Koftegi, "maker of meat patties" is a hidden jewel tucked away in a few miles of mini malls with dozens of restos clinging to life in Little Arabia. Most of those places have their cadre of regulars despite sticky carpet and a perpetual layer of Hookah smoke floating inside at eye level. Koftegi ain't that. It's spotless and inviting. Wander in and a pleasant fellow takes one last bite of his Falafel and stands to greet you. He'll walk you to any table you like in both dining rooms. A Turkish/Arabic loop gnawed at my Western musical sensibilities until I appreciated it's calming effect. The din of Turkish spoken here will eclipse the music and the Flatscreen showing reruns of Mucize Lezzetler anyway. As you sit down and make your nest, the Host hands you a 28 page Menu that resembles a High School Year Book. There are glossy photos of everything on offer. That'll get you salivating like Pavlov's Puppies in seconds. The Meat is all Halal, so open your Paypal. The food is healthy but it doens't hurt to be wealthy as the pricing is up-market. $15.99 for a small bowl of Tabbouleh Salad. So, don't be bashful and bring a bag that's cash full. Like good Olive Oil you get as much quality as your budget can handle. On the plus side, the food is fresh, well prepared, made to order so nothing gets parched and dried out under a heat lamp. The portions are heroic and the food delicious. No matter you'll take half of it home any way to serve as a platform for your morning eggs if you can find them and still afford them. The Menu features Turkey's greatest hits. While Turkish cuisine can be complex and elegant, this is comfort food doing it's job, making you full, happy and happy you came here. There are only a couple of authentic Turkish spots in SoCal so this is definitely worth a try. The Staff: Other than the Host, there is only one waiter. The work at the tire shop must have been slow and he landed here. Never mind, you came here to eat, and good food takes time to get from the kitchen to your plate. Here it is, now yemek! The Decor: Look Mom they shrunk the Grand Bazaar. Who goes here? Pats and Ex-Pats and the odd culinary adventurer, me. The Food: You already have the idea. The food is good here. It is. Help yourself to a huge helping of Hummus. Creamy and tangy with a wading pool of excellent Olive Oil and a sprinkle of Sumac. Juggle a thin Pita the size of a Hummer Hubcap and go to town with this. A lovely Green Salad with a light Lemony Dressing rides shotgun for the Garlic Chicken Garlic Chicken were Thighs marinated in Garlic, Yogurt and the usual suspects, Sumac and Za'Atar. The mound of Chicken chunks were grilled just right. Still moist and tasty as your secret Chicken fantasy all nestled in a warm Pita to soak up the juices. This dish comes with a mound of Rice, a Roasted Tomato, a Jalapeno should you need a treat of heat and a cup of pure lip puckering Garlic Paste to slather over everything you can reach, (except your date). The Beef Shish Kabob required a construction permit. Tender Rib Eye pieces stacked up like Legos. Cooked perfectly, oozing Beefy juices and still crispy at the edges. There are lot's of choices on the Menu as long it's Beef or Chicken. Vegans need not apply. Dinner will be ample and hardy, perfect for a cold night in So Cal. You know, when it dips to 68 degrees. It's wonderful even if it's 80 degrees in the dead of Winter. Koftegi will serve you well as it's truly guzel."
"I made a to-go order, commenting how good it smelled and how impressive their reviews were. The man working assured me that everything is made fresh and was very polite. As I waited, he gave me a small plate with a sample of my appetizer. I admired his cool confidence, because he was sure I would love it-- I did. In fact, I loved all of it. Great experience."
"I'm so sad they redid their southwest corn chowder soup, the old recipe was my favorite. Their soups and salads are amazing and I wish I could eat here every day. I'm only taking a star away for the price. I don't think it should be that expensive. Otherwise the workers are so kind, parking is easy, and the food is excellent"
"Fun Vibes, Excellent Service & Stunning Presentation! Nico's is the perfect mix of fun, energy, and top-tier service! From the moment you walk in, the upbeat ambience sets the tone--great music, stylish decor, and just the right amount of buzz. Whether you're grabbing drinks with friends or hosting a private dinner, this place nails the vibe. The service? Impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The drinks? Crafted to perfection. And the presentation? Absolutely stunning. Every dish that hits the table is beautifully presented. If you're looking for a spot with great energy, amazing service, and Insta-worthy presentation, this is it. Can't wait to come back!"
"I love the Kabob Shop. This location is great. I like that they also have kids plates. We have been to several locations and like all of them. We have been to this location the most. The lamb is always very good. They give a large portion and it goes great with the rice and the Mediterranean Salad. This combo is nothing but flavor. The salad is always fresh and the olives used are flavorful! They have the yogurt and the condiment bar and you can take as much as you want without paying extra. The restaurant is clean. We are always greeted by nice people and get good service. This place is fast, easy, and reasonably priced. It is one of my favorite places to go for a flavorful and more healthy eating option. The Kabab Shop..another reason the OC is the best place to live!!!"
"I've been coming here for roughly 20 years. They have the best freshest sandwiches and the service is amazing! The food portion is generous size as well, highly recommend!"
