"I always wanted to try tapas and, so, we found this little neighborhood place. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are indeed in Spain. We noticed that, like Spain and many of our local neighborhood places, most people there seemed to know each other and/or the very warm staff. Everyone was socializing. This is one of the main ideas of the tapas place and other cafés and eateries in Europe. Even strangers meet and converse with other strangers. I ordered the paella for one, and my son, who was taking me out for my birthday, ordered the beef sliders and some spicy chicken wings. He's a connoisseur of the latter, and they definitely exceeded his expectations. They were a two napkin affair. LOLMy paella was exquisite and was just like I remembered it in Spain. It was just the right amount for one person. I was even graciously given substitutes for the calamari. Like I said, the staff is very warm and friendly and accommodating as well. I tried one of the craft beers there, Golden, a pilsner, and it was also delicious and very smooth. So, I had to have two. Well, it was my birthday. I was also gifted with two delicious dessert churros accompanied by a huge, sweet, ruby red and delicious strawberry with chocolate and caramel sauces in which to dip them. All and all, we had an excellent meal. We will definitely return. I can definitely recommend this wonderful place."
"Service: very accommodating and adjusted the umbrella shade perfectly to suit the dining party.Ambiance: relaxed, upscale, gorgeous viewFood: everything we had was fantastic, including grilled shrimp on the quinoa salad and the burrata with Brussels sprouts."

"I came here with a friend on a Thursday at 12 pm, luckily not a long wait (5 minutes) since it was a nice day out, we decided to sit outside. My friend recommended this place so many times and I finally caved to try it and I'm so glad I did. Hip old diner feel, if that makes any sense lol the service was fast and staff was nice! EATS:They have this 57 cent? dip/ spread deal that's comes with crackers, the seasonal dip was cream cheese with apples and some other goodies- I didn't take a picture of it but I did eat it all. I think that's a fun and cheap add on appetizer before your meal! TUSCAN KALE AND TURKEY SALAD- so yummy, you can't tell by the picture but this was a big salad, I only finished about a 3rd and ate the rest for dinner. The salad had baby kale, l turkey, parmesan cheese, dried cranberries, candied pecans, avocado and homemade croûtons with a l lemon poppy seed vinaigrette, it was fresh and delicious and I would order again! They have an extensive menu for any type of foodie and also serve alcohol! I'm excited to come back and bring my husband :)"
"The staff here are super passionate about their fried chicken--both the popcorn chicken and chicken strips have that amazing crispy crunchy breading. And paired with their house sauce? DIVINE.Besides the chicken, what I loved even more are the grilled baos and soup dumplings that would give Din Tai Fung a run for their money. Literally oozing with soup and honestly one of the best I've ever had! Thanks for reading! ^-^"
"A friend and I came to BLK Earth Sea Spirits for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant is located upstairs on the south east corner of PCH and Main street right across the street from the beach. Note that Huntington Beach has a street fair every Tuesday night and Main Street is blocked off from PCH for several blocks north which may throw off your arrival time if you are not aware. We were seated immediately out on the patio which was fairly busy but inside was pretty empty. The restaurant definitely has a classy feel and would be great for a date. The patio wall is low with glass above so you get a great view of the beach and up and down PCH. The décor is nice and modern. The dinner rolls were real good and had some herb flavor. We both ordered the filet mignon and my friend added on a lobster tail. The cuts of meat were very thick but were cooked through as ordered and tasted great. I ordered some bearnaise sauce which was ok. We were both doing the carnivore thing and didn't order any sides. Prices were a little on the high side but on par with most of the fancy restaurants down here. Service was good and the host was very friendly also. The one thing that was weird was the plates our steaks were served on. They are just big rectangular completely flat plates. With nothing on my plate besides the big thick chunk of meat, it made the steak look kind of small and potentially could have been a big mess if a lot of juice came out of the steak."
"great staff ! Thank you Bre for the amazing drinks ! We will definitely come back ! Food was delicious"
"Really great staff! The staff are very helpful and are able to recommend spicy levels for all newcomers. If it is your first time, start at a lower spicy level. I made the mistake of starting out with the Hot and greatly regretting it. Even after smothering my food with lots of honey, it won't help. After a few tries, I figured out that I can only handle up to Medium spicy level. I liked both their chicken sandwiches and mac & cheese bowls. There is great "street" chicken wall art as well. It gives the location an "urban" vibe. Parking can be a bit difficult sometimes during lunch hour since it is part of a smaller shopping center that has other popular restaurants. I would recommend to come here during non-peak hours."
"What a mellow little spot that basically really doesn't have that much but what it does have is what's totally good for all to enjoy!Basically it's a bunch of video games a few bars and a spot to get ramen at other than that there isn't much here so just go ahead and grab your beer! It's one hallway with the upstairs consisting of most of the games and downstairs is the ramen spot with a chill little patio outside in the back!Coming here was just kinda random as my friends show got canceled and they just ended up playing on the patio here for a few friends that came out basically to hangout have a drink and listen to some awesome punk rock music.Overall it's a cool little spot I hope more becomes of it and I would definitely like to come back again for another night of fun with friends a few games and hopefully another awesome punk show!"
"Randomly came across this on Resy while searching for a last-minute girls night out! Valet parking was $7.50 which was reasonable and the parking lot is quite small. It's a small wine bar tucked in a little retail plaza. The wine wall is so pretty and it's fun to see all the wine they carry there. We love wine and were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the food and wine selection! It exceeded our expectations. We ordered:Appetizers: Crab cakes - A hearty piece of crab that was well balanced with the arugula.Brie fondue - omg this fondue was to die for! The fondue was heavenly and delicious with the pear and bread. Cheese & charcuterie plate - A bit smaller than expected but all of the cheeses, especially the goat cheese was a total hit. Would've preferred crackers and/or other types of bread served with this.Entrees:Potato pizzette - surprisingly delicious! Never had potatoes on pizza but this was savory and full of flavor!Brussels sprouts - omg these were to die for! Perfect amount of char with succulent pieces of chorizo and not too sweet, we all loved this so much!Short rib - a generous slab of short rib that was melt-in-your-mouth amazing! Loved the rainbow carrots and mashed potatoes. We also shared a bottle of the Napa valley Teeter-Totter Cabernet Sauvignon which was just perfect. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. We had a wonderful time here and will be back to try their other dishes!"
"Best outside café views & menu in Mission Viejo, that I've seen so far. Love going there for breakfast & @ sunset on a Saturday."
"Normally, I'd give a four star but there's a new policy that we objected to, so read on.My friends and I eat here often and have always enjoyed the experience, food, service, and staff. Tonight we were surprised to find an extra 2.75% fee attached to our bill for using a credit card. We found this laughable because the cost of the food didn't decrease by this same amount. Math people will get this. On the flip side, the poor servers are the ones that are being hit the hardest by this fee. Customers by default want to discount the servers' tips. People understand this is a corporate decision, please don't penalize your servers. This change hits them harder than corporate. Come with a debit card or cash and pay your server with cash. FYI: I learned tonight; that the waiters pay the tax, not just on the tips they keep, but also on the tips they share with the busboys and kitchen staff. Wow! Thank goodness that in 2025 the wait staff won't have to pay tax on their tips!"
"Stopped in a couple weeks ago for happy hour, and boy was it a great spot to try!The bar was packed at 4pm on a Friday evening, and remained that way up until we left around 6:30!They're got darts, a juke box, and two pool tables. (Which accept dollars or quarters)I really appreciated that there was a wide range of age groups there. Saw people in their mid twenties, all the up to mid eighties! Quite nice actually. Not only were the drinks strong, esp. for the price. The food was absolutely wonderful, and service wasn't too shabby for as busy as they were! I opted for a grilled cheese with tomato, and fries. While my bestie got the fish & chips. Both of us truly enjoyed our meals so much - we'll be back this afternoon! Stay tuned for a photo later. Only con was they didn't have avocado for my sandwich. But it was still delicious. Thanks for the strong drinks, yummy food, and good time Team Tubby!"

Great little place! Was checking out a doggie boarding place in the area and found this spot here on Yelp! Was looking for something dog friendly. They have a little patio that allows dogs. They have a couple TVs you can watch from out there too. My friend ordered a mojito mocktail and it was delicious. I had chicken flatbread, she had a crab cake. We both loved our food. The server/bartender was super sweet. Brought out a bowl of water for the dog and some treats too! We got there around 3:00pm. I think we were the only ones there but she said it gets pretty busy, especially with regulars. It's a cute little neighborhood restaurant/bar. I'll totally come back next time I'm in RSM.

Cute little boutique/ restaurant! I got the Tuna sandwich and my colleague got a salad and the food was good. The service was also good. I wish we had been greeted/ shown to a seat upon entering because of the layout of the place but overall we had a good experience and the are they have hung is super cool!

Unexpected yummy surprise! We were sold with the sample chicken tender. Very engaging owner and very nice helping us with our order. The crispy batter was soft, yet crunchy. The grilled bao had great flavor and texture. We are at the bar there but there were plenty of seats on the Monday afternoon.Parking was not too bad but can be rough to find a spot during peak times. Very open & spacious place.

Just got into the OC, we come here all the time, but I've never been to this restaurant. It's been here for many many years. Right next-door to Fred's Mexican but this is more steak and seafood. Very basic menu doing some old classics like adding the "Oscar touch "too many of their dishes. If you know, you know, but great Caesar salad, great lamb chops. Had a nice seafood brochette which they call skewered seafood but old school is brochette. Free parking down below, which is great nice to be here in the winter time because otherwise this place would be packed tonight maybe six tables total in a big spot. Nice big screen TV out front and we're watching the Lakers grizzlies game. Believe it... Lakers are winning everybody's healthy so far. Enjoy.

JR and I normally stay a lot at the hiltons properties. But we have to say Dre the head bartender, at Bristol palms Always puts a smile on our face when we see her behind the bar. You can't go wrong with her expresso martinis or old fashion .. Weather, it's been a week or a month she always remember drink and your name minds me of Cheers where she knows your drink. 5 stars for her

Had the Korean fried chicken sandwich. It was bomb. Great mix of spicy, sweet and fried. You can actually mess up frying something and this chicken was fried really well where it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside without being oily. The tots were also fried perfectly, and that's weird to say for tots, but they were super enjoyable. They did them well. Also, super generous with the portion sizes We got our eat on before going upstairs to play our hearts out in pinball. Highly recommend them.

"The pastrami burger is it! To the chef, compliments to you!! Service is good once you flag your server/bartender."
"Dine in a beautiful garden. The food at 608 Dahlia is delicious, and they rotate their menu seasonally, so the food uses high quality ingredients, some of them picked from the chef's garden. We first ate here after exploring Sherman Library and Gardens, as it's located just inside. Service is so friendly here, and they take time to explain the dishes to you. When it came time to plan our wedding, we had a tasting, and everything was amazing. It was so easy to work with Emily - she's always on top of it, responds quickly to our questions and requests, and is so personable and friendly to talk to. We really love the wildberry spritz (lavender drink) that we had before, and they were willing to add it to our cocktail menu for the wedding. They work with a rental company for renting all the furniture, silverware, etc. and Emily managed all of the logistics with rentals and taking into consideration our preferences for colors and styles. We had a small family medical emergency at the wedding, and Emily was the only person who checked in with us after the wedding, which was super sweet. We also met Chef Jessica Roy a couple times, and we have nothing but good things to say. On our wedding day, the food tasted even better than the tasting, and everyone was raving about the food. I was curious about the chef, since from my experience, it can be tough to maintain a high quality standard for food that is served to tons of people at the same time. This can't be an ordinary chef. It turns out Chef Jessica Roy has an impressive background - prior chef at 3-star Michelin-rated Alinea and she's been on Food Network competitions. You can definitely see the thought and care that she puts in her food and plating. So grateful that we had such a humble and talented chef for our wedding. Thank you, Emily and Chef Roy for a lovely and unforgettable wedding and a fantastic meal!"
"2/10/2025This store has been on queue for a very long time! Fermentation Farm has been around since 2014 and they "are a community of people that care deeply about reconnecting with handcrafted, traditional foods that are dense in nutrients. Specializing in probiotic-rich and restorative foods that also contain B vitamins, electrolytes, collagen, and minerals that are necessary for proper gut and immune system and overall body wellness, we serve the general public with the aim to heal." Fermentation Farm have their own house-made products including organic fermented drinks, organic broths, organic coconut yogurts, organic coco milks, frappés & creamer, organic cultures, organic fermented veggies, organic tonics, brine & syrup and market items. WILD LINE-CAUGHT TUNA SANDWICH(Albacore, Sourdough Brioche, Fermented Relish, Cucumber, Mixed Greens)This had a very clean flavor. Nothing fancy, it tasted healthy and homemade. I appreciate the crunchy cucumbers and fresh mixed greens in the sandwich. ORGANIC MUSHROOM WILD RICE SOUP(Beef broth, cremini, shiitake, wild rice blend, scallion)Very clean flavor. I can taste the rich bone broth as the soup base. No cream was mixed in. There was more mushrooms than rice. Very tender mushrooms too. GRASS-FED BEEF BONE BROTHReally good, rich beef bone broth! I really enjoyed this and will be buying more! I got this fresh and not from the freezer. It was still hot by the time I got home. I think this would be perfect for the morning or even when you're feeling under the weather, a good bone broth to bring you back to health! Got this as a bowl. It wasn't written, but the container was in a 16oz container. When I actually did pour it into an 8oz cup, it was less than two full cups.Customer Service I'm a bit torn because two people were working at the front and while one was super friendly and helpful, another was just okay, doing their job and wasn't smiling as much. When you're new and visiting for the first time, you always want to be greeted warmly. It makes you wanna come back."
"An exclusive gem nestled on the coastal edges of Newport Beach, The House is the perfect restaurant for a good evening out with your significant other or a group of friends. Decorum and service is a bit on the high end, so expect to make reservations, valet your car, and to come in dressy casual attire or better. The membership-only restaurant has an array of mouth-watering offerings (check the photos, sorry for the lighting) with many menu items uniquely curated by the head Chef, who so graciously greeted us, along with the owner, during our multi-course meal. The meats are tender and high quality and the appetizers are like a banquet of angel bites from heaven. The atmosphere is very romantic and shrouded in mystery, yet lively (there's a bar for those looking for a good time). You'll have the option to enjoy your meal on the waterfront (inside and outside dining are available). I would divulge more, but you have to check it out yourself... if you can get in."
"We came here for brunch this morning and looooved it! Everyone is so nice and the food is great :) We ordered the Mija, french toast, and avocado toast and liked them all. I can't wait to come back for Pozole on Sundays"
"Hidden away on a quiet street, The Dock captures your attention right away as it is the only restaurant that is bright enough to be noticed. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by the host and a wall full of wine. The host takes you to the back where the salty air and smell of wine permeates the room. For those of you who like to be surrounded by the wading boats and laughter in the room, this is the place where you can forget your arguments and be truly present. Come and order a drink for the occasion. I got Endless Summer and truly, it was the last drink before the season changes again. As an appetizer, I got the octopus, a small dish where you'll still have room for more food. As the main entrees, I got the fish of the day and of course, the lamb. If you ever had lamb anywhere else, well, those restaurants cannot compare to this one at The Dock. The lamb was cooked nicely and without the gamey taste, which is my preference. I would go back here again for the location, good, and ambiance."
"Don't let my 3-star rating mislead you--Streamliner Lounge isn't bad. However, nothing really wowed me, and I wouldn't choose to come here on my own.My colleagues and I arrived around 6 PM on a Friday. There were about 20 of us, and we were seated within 10 minutes, which was impressive for a large group. We ordered all the appetizers, and I managed to try all but one. Although I didn't catch our server's name, she was sweet and clearly did her best to accommodate us, along with her other tables.Spicy Fried Cauliflower: 4/5Probably my favorite of the bunch. Light, airy, and flavorful, with a surprising crispness that held up even after sitting out.Mini Street Tacos (pork): 2.5/5Pretty dry. The flavor wasn't really there, but they were passable.Slider Duo: 2.5/5These were your typical sliders--nothing to write home about. The fries, however, were pretty good and had a great crisp.Sriracha BBQ Wings: 4/5Good flavor! They were almost too salty for me, but I still enjoyed them.Buffalo Wings: 4/5A classic buffalo wing. They might not be the best you've ever had, but they'll satisfy your craving.Overall, if you're looking for a "traditional" American dining experience, Streamliner Lounge could be a good choice. My preference leans more towards ethnic foods, which might explain why I wasn't overly impressed. But if traditional American fare is your thing, you'll likely enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere, live music, and (decent) food."
"There's a certain kind of place that thrives in Newport Beach--slick, polished, not effortlessly expensive. Gulfstream is one of them. Not trying too hard, not exactly phoning it in either. I've been here plenty of times, usually after work, perched at a high-top in the bar with a drink in hand, or at one of those coveted kitchen rail seats where you get to watch the controlled chaos unfold. The drinks? Above average, which in Newport is saying something. Nothing overly fussy, nothing that requires an MFA in mixology to appreciate. They won't light anything on fire or carve a single, hand-cut ice sphere, but they also won't disappoint. Solid execution, no pretense. The menu keeps it tight--no sprawling, ego-driven, 20-page disaster--but you've got options. If I'm ordering an entrée, it's the trout. No regrets. My wife swears by the salads. The food? Good, sometimes very good, but not the main event. That honor goes to the people-watching, which is Newport Beach at its absolute finest. Money, Botox, and real estate deals unfolding in real time. If you're in the market for a waterfront property--or just want to overhear someone closing on one--this is where you come. The tables are mostly set up for foursomes, and the outdoor patio, when buzzing, has that just-right energy. A place where deals are made, martinis are drained, and everyone is somebody--or at least pretending to be."
"Had the new club sandwich. And I love club sandwiches. And this was an amazing club sandwich. Fully endorse."
"Came here on a Friday night with some friends for dinner and drinks. I was shocked that at 8:30pm this place was so mellow because it's actually a really yummy and cute spot! It was tiki weekend which was really neat because they had all of these delicious tiki themed drinks! I ended up ordering the Mac n cheese because I had been recommended it before and tried one of the tiki themed drinks. Our server was so sweet she was dressed for the tiki theme too with seashells in her hair and necklace! She was on top of checking in on us and making sure we all were full on drinks and food. 10/10 will be back. This would be a really cute date spot too!!"
"This was my first time at this little local gem in LB and I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The service was very good, I brought my dog since it was dog friendly so the patio was perfect anyways as it was a gorgeous day. The food was super delicious and the portions were definitely on the bigger side. My foodie partner got the Dos Caballeros and I got the Juan Wayne. I'll definitely be back to try more items off the menu cause there was some eye catching stuff"
"This is a great spot we stopped in for dinner after walking around the area looking at the Christmas decorations. It was busy but the hostess sat us down within 5 minutes. The restaurant was lively and our waiter was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the lobster roll and burger. The lobster was flavorful but the sauce was a bit thick and overwhelming. My burger was okay, it was also too saucy for me. Presentations were beautifully done though. The drinks we got were an old fashioned and a whisky sour. Amazing drinks!! This was a nice place for our date night out, parking in the area is a bit tricky as it does get packed but just be patient you'll find a spot. Definitely recommend!"
"I would have never thought to have come here for Sunday brunch until someone told me they had made to order eggs Benedict. That immediately sparked my attention. She also told me that they had all you can drink mimosas or hibiscuses (w/ cranberry juice) included in that price as well. Now you've sold me.The price does seem a little much at $28.95- however, the food was pretty amazing. One of my friends plays golf here pretty often, so he confirmed that what he's had was good before we came.Upon arrival, the place looked like a country club. I didn't know if I was under dressed, but I was fine in jeans and a sweater. I could have probably showed up in shorts and flip flops and I don't think anyone would have cared. As soon as you sit down, I recommend you order your eggs Benedict since they have to make them for you. It prevents you from having to wait and you can help yourself to a serving or two before they come. The room is surrounded in windows which gives you views of the golf course. It's nice and I don't even like or know what golf is all about. The room where the food is looks like a meeting room in a hotel. There are tons of tables set up with a lot of food spread out on them. There is a guy that cooks omelets, waffles and cuts meat for you and a Bloody Mary bar (which I think is extra). A few times that I came into the room by myself, it was as quiet as a morgue. Maybe a little ambiance music would have been nice? The chef was pleasant and was asking how my day was and telling me a little bit about the menu items.Favorites:- Prime Rib Bar: The guy behind the station told me that he got there 4-hours earlier just prepare it. I don't know how long it usually takes to cook, but I was impressed. It was just the way I liked it: rare on the inside and cooked on the outside. I was able to cut it with a butter knife and I'm not joking, I went back for thirds.- Lox station: Lots of it, and it's fresh, too. I didn't put it on a cream cheese bagel like I usually do- I figured I cut down on calories wherever I could. So instead, I just had a mountain of it raw on my plate. Healthier that way, right?- Shrimp station: There were huge prawns in a bucket of ice already de-shelled and ready to for consumption. They have cocktail sauces and sorts if you need to dip, but I ate them plain Jane and they were good. I'm usually a little skeptical about eating shrimp at an AYCE affair, but this place looked swanky and I didn't think I was going to get sick. I was right to trust my judgement.- Eggs Benedict: I'm glad I ordered two orders before I made my way into the food area. The English muffin that it sat on was super crispy and buttery and the hollandaise sauce was smooth, creamy and not overly citrusy or tart. I don't know what they did to it, but I was able to cut into it with a fork. Once you stab into it for the first time, a wave of runny yolk comes pouring out. Thank goodness for extra bread- I didn't not let any of that yellow goodness go to waste.- Chorizo Black Bean Pizza: It came in little slices. For me, it tasted similar to a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell. For me, that's a good thing- that's probably one of the few things I like from the joint as the outside was crispy and the chorizo was packed on top.For dessert, they had a ton of different options. Unfortunately, I was too full to really care. Next time, I will pace myself- better yet, I think I'll just order plate after plate of eggs Benedict. My friends got pretty bombed, so they got their moneys worth. I pounded their coffee. It was smooth and even the non-coffee drinkers said it was "alright" without any cream and sugar. Our server Justin was excellent. He was always around to refill drinks, clear plates and bring out any condiments we needed.Overall, I was really impressed. I uploaded a ton of photos- so you can see for yourself. I'll definitely be back to get my brunch on."
"I'm a local from a neighboring city. Came here years ago and forgot why I never came again. Made the mistake and then remembered. This must be some tourist trap restaurant because I don't understand why anyone would come here with the various better options around. Food is overpriced, venue needs major renovation and staff needs to be replaced. I asked for items several times and it was brought to me in the most inefficient way, and in the wrong quantity asked for. Server attitude was off too. Really basic request gone wrong. I could go on about several additional things but not worth the time. I just want to do other customers a favor to save their money and time and go elsewhere. Not sure what's going on lately, but there's still businesses that think they don't need to provide good service. Or owners that don't provide oversight because it's just money they clearly don't need ? I encourage everyone to be more discerning and support the smaller businesses that take more pride in their work and show us they need the business. This is the only behavior that will change quality. *funny I just read the other reviews and it's either 1 star or 5. I'll tell you that if you're not used to exceptional service and ok with run down dives because you enjoy loud music and loud clientele, this mediocre place will probably suit you LOL different strokes for different folks."
"The food was great the atmosphere was awesome and the comedy show was a hit! Great job KJ! The manager Curtis was also very gracious, he came up to our table and introduced himself.Great vibe all around. We will definitely be back!"
"Toast is the perfect brunch spot in Brea!Located super close to the Brea Mall, parking is super easy and it's modern, clear ambiance is fun and relaxing! Service here is pretty average, but nothing to complain about. Since I'm an Eggs Benedict lover that's what I always order and it never disappoints. There's a good selection of brunch/lunch options and everything I've tried has been delightful. If you're looking for a new place to try in the Brea area, definitely put Toast on your bookmark list!"
"Hidden rooftop gem in HB! The food is always delicious and we love how dog friendly the restaurant and hotel are! Our favorite brunch dishes were the Chilaquiles (decent spice level) and the Breakfast Burrito (looks boring in pics but was filled with deliciousness)! They also validate parking for two hours."
"My first review for 2025! This place embodies luxury California coastal vibes. Celebrated our friend's birthday here last night and it was amazing. Even though the sun had already set (the view would've been spectacular during sunset), sitting out in the patio overlooking PCH was still really fun. They had plenty of heat lamps so no one was cold. The food was delicious. I had the prime rib, which was a very generous portion (had plenty of leftover for the hubs at home LOL). All our appetizers were yum: tuna crispy rice, goat cheese stuffed artichoke flowers, & ikura potatoes. Friend's rib eye looked mouthwatering and another friend said the pork chop was really good. So everyone was happy with their choices. Cocktails were allllll delicious. Birthday girl's cold brew martini was damn good, but we looked at the menu again, and of course with Bailey's and Kahlua and crème de cacao, of course it was gonna be creamy and sweet. I enjoyed the peach old fashioned, but honestly, all the cocktails sounded good. Service was great. Would definitely come here again. They also validate for 2 hours parking, of which parking was in a garage under the restaurant."
"The orange and cranberry kale salad was so delicious! There is an option to add more protein to the salad with a small cost and I opted for blackened salmon. While the salmon was flavourful, it was a little too cooked for my liking. It was probably fully cooked because it wasn't sashimi grade, but then again how can I expect it to be sashimi grade when it's so cheap! All in the all, I was quite pleased with the meal and I will definitely be back to try out more dishes!"
"Loved the ambience in here, very lowlight. Candles and little lamps everywhere. We got an espresso martini and a no. 2 which was an earth drink with mezcal. Very good. We came here before we went out to dinner and it definitely set the vibe and mood for the rest of the night. Service was amazing. They gave us water with our drinks and made sure to keep refilling our waters."
"We popped in after a walk on Balboa Island on a Saturday. It wasn't too crowded, we got seated right away. Our server was friendly, service a bit slow but we weren't in a rush and most people are here to relax and have a good time. We got a burger and a pizza, both were yummy! Seems they have a lot of local craft beer options, and cool seating options."
"My friend and I LOVE coming down to District for Taco Tuesday! These margs were SO good and only $8! You can also get a taco for as low as $1.50 which is such a great deal especially for college students.I also highly recommend Trivia Nights on Wednesdays. I brought a group of 4 of my friends the other week and had so much fun! We ended up getting 2nd place! It starts at 7pm, it's free and they have food available to order! The servers are always so friendly. The vibe of this place is what keeps me coming back!"
"Tried Hangout again and had the fish tacos & hot fries right out of the oven! Yummmo sooo good! Someone else got their burger and that is amazing too oh and you have to try the chowder too!Best location as always but now the food is even better!!"
