It is usually quiet with one or two other tables with customers.I guess service is slower than some restaurants. But I like the food and I think is worth waiting for. I haven't notice some of the things in the other poor reviews but a family can have their off days."

Lisa Z. "One of our favorite things to do is sit at the bar for some well made drinks and good food. It's a sizeable bar and we can usually settle in no problem even on a weekend night. Everyone who works there is very personable and fun to talk to. I pretty much always get the Mange Bene salad with blackened chicken. I like it because they put a ton of stuff in it, not just lettuce. Also, their salmon dishes are solid and the pastas and pizzas are yummy."

Ashna D. "Never thought I'd love coconut jelly so much! This place was recommended to me by my sister who learned about it from my cousin who went to school in Irvine. When I went down there earlier this month, I had never tried it before so my sister ordered for me. The inside of the restaurant is super cute and pink and while we were going to eat inside, we wanted to watch our show together but otherwise would have stayed. She got us both a mango coconut jelly and when we put our order in, the man behind the counter disappeared to go cut up fresh mango. He was really quick, wrapped up our mason jars and we took these to go. When we got back to hers, I took a bite of fresh mango mixed with the jelly and it was sooo yummy! It was nice and sweet mixed with the coolness & softness of the coconut jelly that tasted like nothing I've ever had before. The best part of it was the mason jar we got to keep at home and I make overnight oats with these cute little pink jar now. Loved this place and I really wish we had one closer in the Bay! It would be a huge hit!"

They always have bananas and ive been meaning to try their oatmeal...u add hot water, theres different flavors. The latte is smooth and creamy.I dont like having to sign a receipt and touch the pen. After covid i want to minimize contact when paying. And theres specific labeled parking for the coffee shop out front but since 2 weeks ago, valet?? Has been blocking all the spots so i always have to u turn in a small space and hesitantly park in a random area labelled valet only or park in front of the sliding glass doors of the hotel entrance. Really kind of nerve wracking. I dont want any complaints directed to me on an early dark morning, ya know? And...when wallwriters coffee across the street is butt slow getting ur order out (happens all the time). This is the place to rush over to."

Don H. "Simply the best Detroit style pizza in Orange County in my opinion. My go to is the Eliot which is a simple peperoni pizza. However, the real star of the show to me is the sourdough crust that really can make or break a Detroit style pizza, this is so pillow soft and fluffy it is incredible. Service is always outstanding, so friendly, so happy to help. It is a smaller shop with not a lot of table space, but they are located just steps from the pier and ocean so plenty of options to take it with you to a beautiful view. I have done this many times."

Sandra L. "This updated review will mainly focus on their croissant loaf.I have been searching for the PERFECT croissant loaf, which is a cross between a croissant and yeast bread (I think). The texture is soft like bread, but has buttery flakey layers when toasted. This mix creates a unique crispy exterior texture that tastes and smells like a buttery croissant, but retains a fluffy interior like you would find in bread.Oh boy, Crema Artisan did not disappoint! I knew that their croissants were phenomenal when I had their pastries so I had really high hopes for this croissant loaf. I am absolutely hooked and happy to know that my search for croissant loaf is over! Seriously, if you have never tried a croissant loaf before, order or buy it from Crema Artisan - it's so good! You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook to see if they have it in stock or you can request it for a special order! I enjoy eating my croissant loaf slice plain or with a fruit jam.Thank you for making the croissant loaf! I am a huge fan!"

It was more of a textural dessert than a flavorful one, but overall I loved it!The place itself had lots of seating and it was completely full on a Friday night. Jaymes M. "I found Karak House on IG and was happy to see that they were pretty close to where I live. I actually saw them because of Muse Cheesecake's collaboration whom I also follow on IG. Muse, is a small up and coming Cheesecake company in SD that we have been wanting to visit, but the drive down for dessert has put us off, at least for a while. I was excited to come try Karak house when I saw the collab.Karak, is in a small shopping plaza in Laguna Hills. There is plenty of parking available, including handicap right in from of the cafe. There's seating inside and outside the establishment. Inside is absolutely beautiful and even more so at night. The dark green is a gorgeous touch. Seating can be extremely limited in the evening being that people like to sit here and chitchat with friends. I don't blame them at all. It is a nice place to be. What we've ordered: -The drip coffee - is tasty brew with hazelnut and caramel notes. They have a pour-over option which I am going to do next time. - Regular latte - great with any dessert since it's not sweet. - Mocha latte extra hot - delicious - Honey lavender latte with oat milk extra hot - which was also delicious. I don't know if it's my favorite version, but it was good and I would order it again. - The muse basque cheesecake - is amazing, so if and when they carry it, it is a must have. - Chocolate pistachio cookie - which is a cookie version of the Dubai chocolate bar. It was decadent, dark chocolate with pistachio. - Pistachio cheesecake- OMG. My eyes rolled back it was so good. I would definitely come back to this place again and again. Customer service has been on par for us, luckily. We have not had any issues with the people who worked here so I'm thankful for that. Cheers to a new dessert and coffee joint in South OC."

Sarah C. "11/5/2023 This is a combined review from visiting the past two times. Both on a weekday. Warning: This is a long review. ** Be mindful of the hours! They open at 8:00am, but close at 1:00pm or 2:00pm daily depending on the day. So keep that in mind before you decide to drop by! ** All their baked goods such as scones and bagels are made in-house and will be fresh out of the oven at 9:00am every day! But they do not refresh their baked items in their display case, so it's first come, first serve until sold out! So come in around that time if you want to grab any of those items. DROP BISCUIT SANDWICHWarm, buttery, flaky garlic cheddar drop biscuit with thinly sliced ham, cream cheese and melty, gooey cheddar cheese. This was so good! It was the perfect size too! These are to die for! JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BAGEL Deliciousss! Made in-house and it shows! Lovely springy bagel bread sprinkled with jalapeño and cheddar. Bagel is not thin, but has a beautiful spongy bite to it. Toasted or untoasted, it was delicious with or without cream cheese. When toasted, delightfully crunchy on the outside and bread is still chewy and not dry. PUMPKIN SPICE LATTEThis was good, although there was more  nutmeg than cinnamon, which was kinda' sad. However, loved the frothy creamy milk. If only there was more flavor overall. COFFEE CAKE SCONEI'm gonna say it again. Deeeelicioussss! Fluffy and soft with the outside layers having a light crunch! Enjoyed every bite!Yes, it does taste like coffee cake, but subtle in flavor. If you didn't know the name, you'd probably think it's a cinnamon scone. But still more buttery than cinnamony. CHOCOLATE CHIP SCONEThis had a good amount of choc chips in each bite! However, I realized that the freshly baked scones do not taste the same after a few hours. Texture-wise still moist and biscuit-like in some areas, but some parts were dry. Unfortunate because the Coffee Cake Scone was a completely different experience! Scones should be consumed ASAP. Get there early to grab a scone or two fresh! BREAKFAST SANDWICHYes, gonna say it again! This was deeelicioussss! Recommended to me by the barista, so I had to try it! Fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage patty (a bit thin though), gooey melty cheddar cheese on a soft buttery brioche bun! Heavenlyyy! I don't think this is offered daily, as I did not see this on the daily menu, so if you see it, order it without a second thought! Eat it right away! Once you try it, you'll be dreaming of them daily! CALI BLTWanted to try an avocado toast and it seems this was the only toast on the menu with avocado in it. But didn't realize bacon was added too, hence the BLT.  Their house-made sourdough bread was absolutely crunchy, spongy, delightful! Super delish! That bread was so good and that crusty cheddar melted on top! The toppings were okay and wished it was a simpler toast with maybe heirloom tomatoes, smashed avocado, sea salt, black pepper and sprinkled with olive oil. CHEDDAR BAGEL (with Garlic Herb Cream Cheese)Toasted, it was perfectly chewy and lightly crunchy cheddar top on the outside. It was perfect as it was! The garlickly chunky herbed cream cheese was delicious with the bagel. I am officially a fan of their bagels! Not buying them elsewhere! CAPPUCCINO (Hot)Overall decent flavor. Steamed milk was perfect. BROWNIEThe brownie was moist with a crumbly top. Good cocoa and semi-sweet chocolate flavor coming through! PEANUT BUTTER CUP LATTE (Hot)This had a lovely peanut butter flavor and had the right amount of sweetness! Enjoyed this! Ordering again next time! My new favorite coffee and bakery shop in Long Beach! Coming back for many more visits! AMBIANCE / SEATSSuch a peaceful and quiet ambiance. Quiet music playing in the background. Cozy vibes. Lots of chairs and tables too! This place does not get crowded, so if you want a quiet place to study or work on your labtop, this is the place for it all! Sebastian C. "Goodbye Dot & Dough, hello Still Coffee & Treats! Same building and similar ambiance but totally different offerings. It looks like they went from mochi donuts being the star over to a more coffee/matcha oriented little shop. The lady working this morning recognized me from being a semi-regular patron at Dot & Dough so that was a very warm welcome. It's a little hard to find this little shop if you haven't been to Dot & Dough in the past because they haven't fixed the signage yet but there's a little sign up front with the rebranded signage. Due to them being in their soft opening phase, the menu is very limited but still has a good variety of drinks available. You'll find the prices around the left side where the register is on a little menu available that's more clear. Here's what I ordered:**The Usual: They use organic espresso beans and you can definitely tell that they use quality beans. The coffee portion itself was strong and had a good balance of flavor. The part that shined was their housemade cream top. The cream tasted like a traditional vanilla soft serve. It had the perfect balance of a thick to creamy ratio. (5/5)**Matcha Latte: I opted out for their iced half sweet matcha latte with oat milk. The overall matcha flavor was on the weaker side but it wasn't too sweet nor was it bitter. However, it was very refreshing and it didn't have any artificial flavoring like some places do. (3.5/5)**Cinnamon Sugar Mochi Donut: Dot & Dough had the best mochi donuts in town by a longshot. It's the same great flavor with quality ingredients made with love. It's not overly sweet and the pastry is baked perfectly. (5/5)Overall, great first impressions. I'm sure they'll tinker around with the menu a bit as time goes by but I'll definitely be back again in the near future. Also a plus because they are open very early!"
