"When you're in the mood for a an awesome sammich, Second Reef Deli should definitely be on the list. Having been here now a couple times, it's quickly becoming my go-to when I have a sandwich craving to fill! My favorites are the pastrami sandwiches, both the grinder and the Ruben. The bread is always toasted perfectly, the pastrami super yummy and the balance of all the ingredients is perfect, never too much bread, or too much meat or too much fluff. The service is always great. My last visit an older gentleman was there with (I believe) his wife, and while I was waiting he walked around giving waiting patrons a bag of chips and and said "here's a bag of chips while you wait!" Now how awesome is that! I've had a few different sandwiches now and have not been disappointed. Great food, great service and a great price, what's not to love!"

Anderson's has got NOTHING on this pea soup. (Solvang's famous split pea soup) It was so flavorful and my real regret today was getting a cup and not the larger sized bowl. I also got Dad's Special as well as some chips. This was so good and consumed very quickly. Not much ambience or decorations going around, however being that it's very small, it's also very well organized and clean. Dad's handwriting is also very legible."

"I came by Sessions West Coast Deli with a group of friends for Happy Hour. The restaurant was hosting a fundraiser with American Cancer Society, where a percentage of the sales of food and (non-alcoholic) beverages were to be donated. Love it! Sessions West Coast Deli has a few locations. This location specifically is located in the Irvine Woodbridge Village area. I parked by the AMC and walked over. They have a few tables inside, and more seating in the patio. This area has a few other restaurants and vendors so there is also additional seating in the plaza. My friends and I picked a large table in their patio. Staff was really nice and as it got colder, they came out and turned on the heat lamps for us. When I arrived my friend had already ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. The fries were good to nibble on, but I was especially impressed by their chicken tenders! I'm normally not even into the tenders but I am a fan of their tenders here. So moist and flavorful. Game changing. For my meal I decided to get the Half Sandwich + Soup Combo ($17.50). This combo comes with a signature sandwich, tomato soup, and shaka spuds. A perfect well balanced meal. I love trying a little bit of everything so this option gave me everything I wanted. For my sandwich I picked the Meddock Melee. It came on a soft pillowy toasted ciabatta bun with chicken, jalapeno jack, avocado, sprouts, marinated tomatoes, cherry peppers, adobo buttermilk and squaw. Absolute perfection. The soup was *chef kiss* delicious. Exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. The spuds are crispy chips with a hint of rosemary. Everything was amazing. I also ordered a soft drink in which they have craft sodas on tap, and you can refill as needed. Delicious meal and a great time hanging out with my friends. We already talked about adding this spot to our happy hour rotation. I especially love to support a business that gives back to the community. Excited to explore more of their menu!"

So I am deducting one point for the untucked shirt.If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school this place would get a B+."

Freddy's Deli is a small kiosk embedded inside a business building and most of his customer inside this office is enough to keep him busy. The sandwich is set up like a bar - see the stools you can eat at the counter or four small tables along the wall. Unless you know this café, it's hidden from street and certainly not widely advertise. Once you walk in, you're see small tables and turn the corner to see the counter. The menu is small with weekly specials. I stopped by for late lunch and wanted something light, Freddy was working alongside his cooks. He's made me a grilled cheese and gave me a free coup on the side. If you're looking for a place with not just great sandwiches, but even greater people - cooks are very interactive, look no further than Freddy's Deli! Freddy himself makes sure to greet you with a smile and a personal touch that makes you feel like you're a regular, even if it's your first visit, like me. It's rare to find a place where the customer service is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly--everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel like a friend, not just a customer. Unless I caught them on a really good day, and only two other customers, this place sure makes you feel value. Whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down during your lunch break, this is the place to be and to support a small business owner. I try to stop by month but after the lunch peak hours."

I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a bottle of Coke then took a seat in the patio area (there is no indoor seating). Five minutes later my sandwich was brought to the table I was sitting at. The bread was fresh, the pastrami very tender and tasty. The pastrami is from Russak's, the same provider of pastrami to Langer's, so you know it's top quality. The swiss cheese, mustard, and relish all added to the overall "wow factor" of this sandwich. The pickle relish allowed that pickle flavor to be present in every bite.Prices were on the high side (I'm sure their lease is expensive in this complex). Note: the menu photos - as are most all menu photos on Yelp - don't show accurate pricing; prices go up over time especially during a recession."
