"The food was delicious! Highly recommend the shrimp XLB and golden prime beef noodle soup. The soup was so tasty and delicious. My friend loved the beef rolls, they were good too. Service was great and fast, we went on a weeknight and got a table immediately. The place looked clean and orderly, restrooms were also clean. The food was reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place for quick and delicious dumplings."
"I had an excellent dinner here with immediate family members. Vegetable Egg Rolls were moist inside and very good. A Small Hot & Sour Soup was excellent, with the caps of Button Mushroom bobbing on top, tofu, egg, and broth that had the perfect blend of sweet and sour notes. Fried Pork Dumplings were small but nicely constructed and very good in taste dipped in Plum Sauce, Sweet & Sour Sauce, and Hot Chili Oil.While others at my table split a Large Won Ton Soup and enjoyed extensive Mu Chu Chicken Wraps and House Special Chicken with Broccoli, Diane addressed her well-constructed and sweet Honey Walnut Shrimp, and I concentrated my attention on Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and Kung Pao Three Flavors (Beef, Chicken and Shrimp). Everything was tasty and washed down with Hot Tea. We had a veritable Chinese feast.Service was attentive and responsive, and our reserved table for six in front of the aquarium was quite comfortable. This was probably our best experience here!"

A local favorite, our Mongolian beef is juicy, tender and absolutely delectable. Toss in our fiery work, the beef is paired with green onions, white onion, and on a bed of noodle crisps.

"I loved everything I order, the walnut shrimp were so big and juicy, Crispy and fresh! The black bean noodle are delicious, I recommend adding more onions for the flavor, the orange chicken, upgrade from Panda Express for sure! Haha, my friend have been eating here for like the past 20 years, so that's says something! The selection, the portion, the taste, the service, what more can you ask for? We drop our Togo plastic bag on the floor and the waiter immediately picked up and gave us a new one, awww"
"I was on a work trip and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I found this place through a social media influencer. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I ordered the capital noodles bowl. The bowl had shrimp, fish ball, sliced pork, fish cake, minced pork and egg noodles in broth. The bowl was phenomenal and very delicious. The price of the bowl is reasonable. Great selection on the menu. Ambiance is customer service friendly and plenty of seating space."
"This place has gone down the drain. I ordered the special crispy noodles and salmon rice. Both dishes taste not the same as before, especially my crispy fried noodles did not have any meat nor squid like before. Instead they put Chinese sausage and something that tasted like vegetarian meat, very strange and I could not eat it all because it was very difficult to eat.The customer service was terrible. Food quality has decreased significantly. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or new management but someone definitely ruined this place. The portions are also much less now ."
"This is a great local hole in the wall, independently-owned-and-operated Chinese place that actually feels and tastes authentic. Granted, having never been to China (but watching a lot of YouTube Chinese meals), American Chinese is completely oversauced and oversugared compared to the originals, but still - Peking feels much closer to what I would imagine real Chinese cooking to look like. The owners are friendly, if not very rushed and stressed because they don't have any extra help. I am sure this is due to the small margins of restaurant life and not being able to hire additional persons. For that reason, I can excuse the sometimes slow and/or hurried service. The dining room is small, but lively and comfortable.I highly recommend!"
"Still one of my favorite soup places in OC. I come here strictly for their Hainan soup! Looks like they are currently offering a special on all you can eat noodles. Some tables are communal."
"Love this place! Still coming here since the beginning! Bruce has recommended some amazing options for me when I come in. I hope to eventually try everything on the menu. My fall back is always the rare beef pho!"
"On cold days, a big bowl of hot noodle soup always sounds so comforting and delicious! The shrimp broth is what Le Shrimp is known for, but I wanted to switch things up from my usual order and try the spicy chicken broth with delicious dark meat chicken and wide noodles. This dish really hit the spot! The chicken was tender and full of yummy five spice flavor, and the noodles were chewy and extremely satisfying. The broth was just spicy enough and very savory. I couldn't get enough of it!Would definitely order this again and I think it would also be a really nice dish if I'm feeling under the weather. Service was friendly and the ambiance at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is casual. They're pretty efficient too so we got in and out fairly quickly.Look forward to our next visit!"
"If your sick of panda express and want authentic Chinese food from a family owned restaurant, here you go. Ive been going to this place for years and every time it's the food highlight of my day. The hour and sour soup is what I usually get, it's think and savory filled to the brim with top tiergredients. The wonton soup is also amazing, the flavors are rich and the wontons are cooked to perfection. The orange peel chicken is usually a table order, a must have.I used to not be a fan of crab rangoons, but this has converted me. The filling is creamy without an cream cheese flavor, the skin is crispy and golden brown. All of their food is served to the table piping hot, this restaurant is cozy and warm. Please pay a visit to the Golden Dragon in Costa Mesa."
"We came here like a month ago this is good and clean I would come again make your own Mongolian food"
"This place is the BEST!!! There gentleman that would there is awesome (may be the owner). He remembered named and faced which is very welcoming. I always order the two style shrimp combo. It is made to order and the flavors are BOMB. You have to try it ASAP! May God continue to bless this business."

For to-go order:- golden prime beef noodle soup (8/10): it might have been a lot better if I was able to eat it while dining in, but still enjoyed the dish nonetheless. i don't mind mustard greens and actually love the pickled/sour taste to help cut the broth. the only issue i had was the amount of chili peppers that were put in my bowl--i still enjoyed the spice, but wished it was considered a side topping so we could add as much as we wanted- wontons w/ chili sauce (10/10): sauce and filling were delicious and savory!! really enjoyed and would get again*service was great and were attentive b/c they knew i was waiting for an order, so i had different servers come up to me to check my name and see if my order was ready

Capital Noodle Bar is always good & is the best place to bring big groups looking for a lot of variety! I think their green beans are better than Din Thai Fung (which is a big statement).Their noodle dishes & dumplings are also really good and up to par to most dim sum and stir fry places! The service is quick & always accommodating (ask for extra chilli oil- it is so tasty). Definitely, get the green beans & don't be afraid to explore the menu! I've tried almost ever dish here and I never was dissapointed!

Some restaurants don't need flashy decor or trendy gimmicks--they've built their reputation on consistency and quality. This spot is one of them, a hole-in-the-wall with such a loyal following that there are two locations within minutes of each other. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself.Service here is fast and efficient. The staff moves with purpose, getting plates to the table quickly without unnecessary small talk. It's not the warm, overly attentive service some might expect, but it's exactly what works for a place like this--no nonsense, just good food. The crispy rice is a standout. Served with your choice of protein--often a combination of tender, flavorful meats like grilled pork, shrimp, or beef--it arrives golden and perfectly crunchy on the outside, while still light and crisp rather than dense or oily. The contrast of textures is what makes it so satisfying. Pair it with the soy-based dipping sauce spiked with fresh green chilies, and you get a bite that's savory, slightly spicy, and completely addictive. The soup is equally impressive. A clear, flavorful broth carries smoky BBQ pork, plump wontons, and crisp greens. The noodles have just the right amount of chew, absorbing the broth without turning mushy. It's the kind of dish that feels deeply satisfying, familiar yet expertly executed.Even the small details add to the experience. The complimentary tea is fragrant and refreshing, a thoughtful touch that rounds out the meal. This place isn't trying to reinvent anything--it's simply doing traditional dishes right. It's a reliable spot for comforting, flavorful food, and the fact that so many people keep coming back is proof that they're getting it right.

Don't let the outside fool you, as this place has been a staple for Chinese cuisine for many years, serving up a delicious mix of comforting and authentic dishes. We came around noon on a Sunday, and were first in the restaurant. The food came relatively quickly, and the best part is that they still have lunch specials on the weekend (which comes with a delish hot & sour soup, along with the obligatory hot tea). Here's a quick rundown of what we had on our most recent visit:Pan-Fried Dumplings - Slightly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. This was probably my favorite dish, as the wrapper was freshly made and very thin (which is what I prefer)Taiwanese Beef Roll - Tender beef wrapped in green onion pancake with fresh veggies and savory sauce. Really tasty beef, but the green onion pancake was a little burnt/greasy.Chinese Garlic Green Beans - Perfectly fried, topped with some ground pork. Not all chinese restaurants can get this dish right, but Peking did! Loved that it was flavorful, but not overly greasy or salty. Sweet and Sour Pork - Crispy pork coated in a balanced sweet and tangy sauce. It is very sweet (which is to be expected for this dish). While not my personal preference, the others in my party loved it.Pork with Bamboo Shoots - sliced pork pieces sauteed bamboo shoots and mushrooms (oyster?) in a light, flavorful sauce. Good dish, more for my parents than me.Pan-Fried Mixed Noodles (Hong Kong Style) -Crispy noodles with a mix of tender meat, shrimp and veggies (bok choy, napa cabbage, carrots & onions), all in a savory sauce. A perfect balance of crispy and soft textures, and one of my personal favs!Bean Curd with sliced chicken - classic chinese dish with a light sauce. Good dish, more for my parents than me.A solid choice for classic Chinese comfort food. Servers were friendly, but you do need to flag them down from time to time if you need something. Restaurant is a little outdated, but food (which is most important in my book) is still solid. Highly recommend for anyone craving tasty, satisfying Chinese dishes.

Review is from using DoorDash. I ordered the Hainan chicken and House Special fish filet and I asked for extra dipping sauce for the Hainan chicken since the carry out container for the sauce is tiny (I know since I've order this a couple times before). I'm assuming they read it as no sauce. So I ended up with no dipping sauces at all for my Hainan chicken and in addition, they didn't put any sauce in the house special filet as well (see picture). Usually I would give one or two stars for this but I called the manager and he was apologetic and offered to redo the meal. Unfortunately I using doordash this time because I had a nasty fall from bike earlier and can barely walk so I couldn't drive to the store to pick it up. I would recommend their food, still tasty but maybe not doordash it.

Visited Wok-in several times and the food has always been exceptional. Two of us shared orange chicken and beef chow fun today and while the servings are very generous, and we planned to take home leftovers, we couldn't stop enjoying until there was nothing left to save! The ingredients are fresh and flavors beautifully balanced without the heavy grease found at many fast/casual Asian restaurants. The place is in a simple nondescript building with no ambience but it's sparkling clean and service is friendly, prompt and helpful if you need suggestions from the extensive menu. Great local gem and we'll definitely be back.

"food with flavordumplings did not disappoint friendly environment - will for sure comeback again ."
"I just ordered from this place and found the food to be delicious, I usually have to place a special order for my food, I don't mind waiting, due to allergies and such I usually have to ask for no onions , no cabbage and no garlic. However, they are always accommodating and quick and always get my order correct. Thank you so much"
"My family and I were craving some Chinese fast food after a long day of travel. I didn't feel like cooking that evening, so we decided to place an order at this restaurant for pick up. I had placed the order about one hour before arrival, and informed the restaurant when we would be arriving to pick up our food. When we arrived, the food was not ready (which was a bit maddening).I understand that sometimes restaurants are understaffed, but they had plenty of time to get everything prepared before the promised pick up time. & if you were wondering, The food was NOT worth the wait. it was overcooked, burnt to a crisp, and completely inedible. I would not feed this food to my dog. Anyhow, Almost everything we ordered had to be thrown in the rubbish bin. The sight of the food completely disgusted me.I will not be ordering from this establishment again. Panda express would be a better option to satisfy Chinese fast food cravings. At least I know I'd be paying for edible food instead of wasting a bunch of time and money on food that would end up in the garbage."
"I have eaten here 10-15 times, all through my pregnancy and after. I have brought different group of my friends, and the same friends again. These friends have brought their own friends. That is enough to say that this place is really good and meets the needs for a wide range of people! In a large bowl, you use the tongs to grab what you want and then the cashier will weigh your bowl and ask which soup base you prefer. The signature broth is my favorite. The tomato broth is great for kids (no spice). Then they take the bowl to cook your items in the back, give you a number, and they bring the soup to you in a large bowl. As you wait, you can make yourself dipping sauces. I like to combine the satay, sesame, chili oil, garlic, and cilantro together.Sometimes I eat with my eyes while I'm picking items to add to my bowl, and it's way too much food, but it tastes great the next day and they have togo containers for you, too!"
"Mandarin King Chinese Food is for when you havr a craving Chinese food in Laguna Beach. Located on N Pacific Coast Hwy, I find the parking kind of hard.I guess I'm unimaginitive when it comes to chinese food.I just wanted some beef chow mein. A little greasy.I enjoyed the noodles.I greatly enjoy the small serving of rice they included.Atmosphere: 3 stars.Crowded.So is, in and out hamburger, most good places are.The ambiance is cozy and small.Service: 4 stars. They are busy and the wait is long. If you are looking for fast food it's not here.Recommend calling ahead if you want to save 20 or 30 minutes.Value: 5 stars.I paid $15 for the chow main. For the quality I felt I got my money's worth considering it is Laguna Beach.Quality: 3 Stars. I got my money's worth for the quality and quantity of food. The service was friendly, though it did take a little longer for the food to arrive during peak hours. This slight delay is the only one reason I'm not giving a full five stars. The other is the box leaked.Fortunately they put it in a bag.Overall, Mandarin King is the best value for local Chinese food."
"Food was good. Price is reasonable. We also liked that there were lots of vegetarian and vegan choices."
"We recently tried Yoo's Place, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience! It's a relatively new restaurant, but it's very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We usually frequent BCD Tofu House, but we decided to give this place a shot, and we're so glad we did!We ordered tofu soup, cold noodles, and the tteokbokki with ramen, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The portions were huge, and the tofu soup was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The broth was rich, complex, and tasted homemade. It even came out boiling hot, which I love for soups--it made the experience so much better. The cold noodles were also delicious, with fresh veggies that were perfect on a warm winter day in Southern California. The tteokbokki with ramen was another highlight. The portion was massive, easily enough for four people! My sister and I shared it, and we were both impressed by the generous serving and flavor. One nice touch is the free bone broth on the side. It's perfect if you're feeling under the weather or just prefer something warm to drink instead of cold water. You can have as much as you'd like, which is such a thoughtful addition. The sides were also fantastic--the kimchi was fresh, and they even had sides I'd never tried before.Overall, I highly recommend Yoo's Place. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back!"
"I had lunch here with my daughter and friend. We ordered the following to share:Beef noodle soupDan Dan noodlesBeef roll Juicy pork dumpling Pork potstickers Steamed red bean paste buns Overall, we enjoyed the food here. The Dan Dan noodles were a bit too salty, but everything else was great. Our favorite were the steamed red bean paste buns. I could've eaten a basket full of those and be really happy! The restaurant is pretty casual, you order at the counter and food is delivered to the table. There is a water station with cups that is self serve. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, prepared quickly, and the portions were large."

"When you see this place from the outside and inside, it looks clean and nice, but.... eat before you go to the restroom. In fact, no need to go wash your hands (: After seeing what the female restroom looked (and smelled) like, I almost gave up on our order, but I pushed through. Unfortunately, we won't be back. We walked around the mall to decide where and what we wanted to have for lunch and came back to Dun Huang for the photos on their menu. We ordered the fried noodles with eggs and veggies and lamb skewer. The food was tasty and service was good."
"Such a great Korean restaurant with traditional dishes, but made with really high quality ingredients. The flavors are not the typical restaurant style stuff where you can tell it's just high volume sauces and pastes for marinade and soup. Their dishes have a different taste that is hard to explain, and keeps you wanting more. The service is impeccable even when it's so busy! They're so attentive to what is happening with each table where they quickly come to your table if you just look like you need something. The food is also VERY kid friendly. My 4yo inhaled the galbi, non-spicy ban chan, cold noodles, fried squid, zhachiang noodles and purple rice. She loved every bit of it!Amazing place and we can't wait to go back!"
"Mix Gourmet is the best Chinese food in Yorba Linda, period. My wife Veronica only orders from here. Their food is fresh and sauces are tasty and light.Even the iced tea is delicious.Recommend this place for all your cravings.Bon appétit!"
"The food is delicious. First time here. We order a dinner "2 people special" 5 people could have eaten out it. We had to take most of it home for the next days lunch."
"Coming in, you are greeted by the host. There were 4 in my party. We got seated right away, but it got filled soon as we had arrived. The server asked what we would like to drink and then came about 8 min later to take our orders. In between that time, they gave us these fried crispy wonton strips served with this horseradish dish, and another dip was sweet and sour sauce. When I tell you both those dips were sooo appetizing, we couldn't resist ourselves eating almost the entire plate. We also were greeted at our table by a gentleman named Devin (sorry if I had misspelled that), possibly one of the supervisors or managers. He was there to let us know that we were in for a good treat when they had their bar opened and were serving up a nice selection of wines and alcoholic beverages of that nature. None in my party, myself included, did not get an alcoholic beverage this time, but I might just try it out for the next time.Everything on their menu sounded good, but I had set my heart on the Lo Mein Noodles with Beef. It was so delicious; it hit my craving of some good noodles. It was like a plate to share with others, however I shared a little and took leftovers home. Others in my party had ordered beef and broccoli (2) & another friend ordered the Chicken Chop Suey. Each dish came with a cup of rice. The entire dining was a great first experience and satisfying. Also, GMO is found in none of their dishes. My friends are sensitive to that. We did call ahead and ask if any of their items had msg, and to our surprise they don't have it in any of their dishes. Only maybe found in the soy sauce packets and hoisin sauce. Other that that, our tummies were full but didn't feel sluggish. Definitely coming back. Also, just to add, the server didn't come back to refill our water, but it was understandable as the entire establishment was full of customers. Still a great experience."
"This is the most nostalgic meal I've had in MONTHS. Tucked away in Santa Ana, this hidden gem specializes in bang bang noodles, which is actually an onomatopoeia for hand-pulled noodles that go "bang bang" when you stretch and slap them on the counter. The noodles are thiccc, with just the right amount of chewiness, and will pick up EVERY LAST delicious drop of sauce in the Ma lu bang bang noodles. But then I got spinach noodles in the 3-in-1 noodle dish that has zha jiang sauce, tomato egg, and sesame oil, and I might've loved this even more! And if there's room for more, get the Chinese burger with that scrumptious braised pork and tripe skewers. Thanks for reading! ^-^"
"Went to Radiant Brewery in Anaheim, got to try the Mad Dumplings food truck. The Longaniza dumplings were perfect, juicy and sweet. The vintage dumplings lived up to its name but with a modern twist. Would definitely get these dumplings again. Their service was A +."
"The service could have been better. The waiter didn't really check in on us and didn't appear to be too friendly. Aside from that, the food was good! The portion sizes are huge! Two people can share a plate! We ordered the beef with green onions and chicken fried rice."
"Oh my gosh, this place is AMAZING!!!!!!The BBQ chicken, the teriyaki chicken, the orange chicken, the almond chicken... and the sides?!? Whoa. Yes. Yes all night long and leftovers."
"Wow! I came here with my sister but I should have brought the whole family because these portions are huge. If you like juicy flavorful food then you need to try this Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant for dinner one day. The lobster garlic noodles and beef were my favorite. It's very clean, service is fast, food is delicious. I totally recommend it if you're in the area. I think it's worth the drive!"
"Very authentic Chinese food, their Won Ton soup is my favorite. I also love their beef broccoli!"
"Very satisfied regular customer; my go-to for exceptionally good Chinese. The menu is based on foods found in Northeast China, and to be honest, standard American Chinese is bland to me after eating this... Delicious, hot, fresh and made to order... I get delivery or takeout whenever I'm in town (they have curbside pick-up).The veggie grilled cold noodle is one of my favorite foods (I add enoki mushrooms, grilled onions and cheese). Veggie pancake also delicious - both of these entrees are so much better than the description reads, I tried them because I read a review that said they are a must-have, so now I'm telling you that you must try them!Masala salad (for veggie lovers who want a little broth), instant noodles, and veggie hot pot are all great. The spices for the hot pot are a real zinger; be sure to add a note during checkout if you selected "mild".The owner is very personable, she recognizes my name and makes certain my order is prepared the way I like it, even after being away for months (and I always look forward to returning). Reach out if there's a problem with your order, she's eager to correct it. So grateful they're open until 3am and if more quality restaurants had these hours, it would be so much easier as a night owl to eat healthy!I seriously ate here two days in a row when I first found it... I couldn't help myself! A close friend is Chinese, and I can't wait for him to visit and be impressed.Look for the sign that says "TACOS" - they share their entrance with other restaurants and that marks the spot."
"Staff was friendly and our food came out fast. This was a neat find in our community. There were fruit flies in the dining room, hopefully that issue can be resolved."
"Best pad Thai in Irvine! Fast, tasty, excellently prepared, generous portions. And make sure to get a few containers of the delicious hot sauce! It's a simple and unassuming spot, but I've tried everywhere in Irvine and it's still my fave. The owners are so sweet as well. Always great service with a smile."
