"Laguna Beach, Ca. We have used SoHo three times now, twice at our home and once at a neighbors. Every experience has been absolutely positive. Our latest event was a birthday party for a family patriarch and the part performed by SoHo was flawless. They showed up early and got set up in a timely manner. One of the chefs communicated perfectly which was helpful because my Spanish is very poor. There were a few highlights from last Saturday I'd like to touch upon: The shrimp is amazing, it is cooked in a great spicy butter sauce which was just as good the next day while we were enjoying leftovers. When served in a taco they add a creamy sauce that blends well into the wonderful taste. The Asada is great. One thing I cannot tolerate is gristle and attention was given during trimming to eliminate this annoyance. The size was perfect for a good texture and the steak flavor was outstanding. After the event we were given all the leftovers which included everything: Chips, guacamole,all of the meats, all of the tortillas, cheeses, onions, beans, rice, etc. etc. We ended giving large care packages to several guests. I must mention the carnitas which are very flavorful. The two guys doing all the cooking were very kind and helpful to a large group of us old people. They did a thorough cleanup and left without leaving a trace. SoHo may charge a bit more for their service but I feel their overall product is worth the price, which is why we are repeat customers."

The sandwich was delicious and really satisfied my hunger :-)Tip: The Cheese Shop is tucked away in a corner of the OC Mix, which contains quite a number of small shops and restaurantsOver and above my sandwich, I tried their salted chocolate chip cookies and found them to be exceptional as well. "Cute, little boba shop!I love me some boba. And searched for a new spot after I got off work. I saw the positive reviews on Yelp, and decided to drive over to Fruitea Boba. The shop isn't very big. There's some seating inside, but not a lot. I would suggest taking it to-go.I ordered the dragon fruit smoothie with boba. It was delicious! They gave me a ton of black boba in the bottom, and the boba was really warm. With the cold smoothie and warm boba, I was in love haha I don't know why I like the different temperatures in my drink. Plus, the fruity flavor of the smoothie. It was tasty. Service was good, they made my drink quickly. I will be back! :)"

I had a stamp card to redeem so I just went straight to the counter. I think the signs they had pretty much just said to order through their kiosk. The other stuff i just ignored because I just didn't think it applied to me. Either way, I got my drink and it was so good as usual."

"Sandwich shop, butcher shop/carniceria, purveyor of high end goods - this place is located in a strip mall off a busy street in Brea. An 'if you blink, you might miss it' type of place. Inside, it feels like a mom/ pop, family owned/operated type spot. It's clean and the folks here are friendly and helpful. The place is not large, but it has lots of quality, high end meats and a great selection relative to the size. If you want wagyu tomahawks, sausages, and even high quality burgers, etc,, they have all that here. I can't remember when or why exactly it was on my list/radar, but I think it had to be because of the sandwiches. There was a week where I had to go back and forth from City of Industry and Anaheim, so I thought it was a perfect chance to check this place out. I ordered the smoked wagyu pastrami, which is served on a toasted marbled rye bread with swiss cheese, mayo, and some pepperoncini. Not cheap, but didn't feel super expensive when thinking about what you got. It also comes with chips and a drink. This was an excellent sandwich. Great flavors and textures. Nice crunch with each bite. I would just note, however, that the meat was sliced thin side and it was layered vs. the thicker cut Jewish style deli pastrami. There are also other items for sale like salsas and tortillas. Just a really cool spot with great food and great people. I'm a big fan."

"Randomly ran into fellow yelper B. N. and his wife who live nearby and they informed me that the address that used to have Kerostena has a new place, Taboon Mediterranean. Apparently Taboon has another location in Long Beach and Los Alamitos. The menu is large with soup, salads, cold appetizers, hot appetizers, wraps, bowls, plates, and dessert. Last Wednesday I had the day off work so figured it was a great time to try it out. They've only been open a few weeks. The employee was extremely friendly and happy to talk about the menu. He let me know they have lunch specials Monday-Friday which pretty much gets you the drink for free. I ordered the "halloumi cheese" wrap with lentil soup. I've never had this cheese before and loved it. It's very dense and doesn't melt. They grill it and wrap it with lettuce, tomato, garlic, and a flavorful sauce. The cheese is semi salty and because of the dense texture it was like eating a chicken wrap. I loved every bite and couldn't believe how good it was. I ordered one to take home for my wife and she loved it. At the end she said "I think they forgot the cheese though, it was just some delicious chicken". Her mind was blown when she found out the entire thing was cheese. The vegan lentil soup was a huge portion and loaded with flavor. It was served with some pita chips which I tossed in for texture. My wife had the fries for her side and it was a HUGE portion. She could only eat half and saved the rest for the next day. Salad was another choice for lunch special.Saturday my wife and I came back to eat there. We both ordered the Kefta kabab plate which is a blend of ground beef and lamb. It's heavy on the lamb flavor so keep that in mind if you don't like lamb. It was served with hummus, house salad, two types of rice, sumac covered red onions, a grilled white onion, grilled tomato, pita bread, garlic sauce, and tahini. HUGE portion. Neither my wife or I could finish which is rare for me. I usually devour everything. Every single thing on our plate was fantastic. Loved the two different types of rice. One was very herbal tasting. Since it was our first time here we ordered way too much food. Besides our gut busting entrees we also shared some of their fried cauliflower and the spinach fatayer which are like empanadas. Both awesome.Please try this place! It's behind Shakey's next door to the bagel place that's currently being repairs from the fire. We need good restaurants around here since so many closed during COVID. This is the perfect place for the plaza and I can't wait to try more items!"

Both customers and baristas were so friendly creating a really warm "mom & pops" atmosphere. I was about to order a Lavender Latte but the barista recommended a few seasonal drinks that weren't on the menu. I decided to go with her recommendation. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD! I wish this drink was on the menu permanently! It was a hot milk tea type drink that is very easy to drink. It paired so well with my zucchini bread that I purchased at the shop as well. My only regret is that I don't remember the name of the drink that was recommended to me! I'll definitely be back. Absolutely loved it!"

"I had never tried rolled ice cream before, and On a Roll was my first experience with this viral, novelty treat. The 'Exotic Essence' and 'Creamy Pistachio' flavors were instant favorites. My dad was so excited to devour it, based on the beautiful presentation of the ice creams!! The Exotic Essence was beautifully fragrant and aromatic, while the Pistachio lived up to its name--creamy, rich, and perfectly nutty. What I really appreciate is that the ice cream isn't overly sweet, so you can truly savor the flavors rather than just sugar. We also tried the Mudslide, and it was delicious! Plus, they offer halal marshmallows, which is a great bonus. The location is clean and bright, with friendly and helpful service. Its more like 11:00am - 11:15am. For me thats too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, so its not the best time. And its not consistent.In the beginning the food was very scarce, it seems now there is more of a selection.My favorite thing was the Spring Rolls, however the other day they were made so poorly it totally turned me off. They were just about impossible to eat, and it was a bummer. For $6.95 I expect more. They looked like they were rolled by a 3 year old, in a hurry.
