Came across the Avocado Cafe while taking a friend to JWA with time to kill for breakfast being so close to the airport.They probably have one of the best breakfast burritos and I wish they were a little bit closer to my place but definitely worth going out of your way!The Avocado Cafe serves fresh and healthy food including sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices, and drinks and not to mention a variety of coffees! FYI, their Tuna sandwich (formerly known as the Avocado tuna sandwich) was even voted one of the 9 best avocado dishes in Orange County by OC Weekly. The cafe offers a fast casual dining experience with a cozy ambiance inside and out and I definitely prefer the outside patio seating!5 stars for reasonably priced and tasty food plus friendly service!I'II be back!Enjoy and Bon Appétit!"

"Nice restaurant here in San Juan Capistrano, I am assuming that this area is part of downtown. Parking is definitely a challenge. Very limited free parking behind the restaurant. I didn't see any street parking close by. But there is lots of paid public parking in the area. Some are $10, some are $4 for 2 hours. The restaurant itself has inside and outside seating available. Lots of options for everyone. Staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Atmosphere is nice and pleasant. Very relaxed and friendly. Food was good. My wife had the chilaquiles, I had the Ellie's Table Breakfast Combo. It was all delicious, good seasoning, nice and crispy bacon, it all tasted fresh. Definitely a place to come back to. We came from Lake Forest, so this could be our to go breakfast place whenever we come down this area. Definitely recommend to try!"

I don't know how they manage to keep the crispy breading from falling off when they plate it. Gravy is also the real deal; just sausage, flour, salt and pepper. If someone complains in their review that it tastes too plain or doesn't taste like gravy, ignore them... they're from California and are expecting it to also include chicken broth and maybe pieces of bacon too. Eggs, hash browns, and biscuit were also goodThe house potatoes looked awesome. I need to try those next time. Prices were decent Eggs Benedict had several options and looked good too."

On the final day we decide to haul our booties to do a quick run (more like quick walk so cast members wouldn't yell at us) through both DCA and DL. After being thwarted by Rise of the Resistance and a unexpected detour where there were closures. We were spent and we all absolutely needed food.Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe was an option and recommendation so I opted for the turkey sandwich with chips. We preordered which made things easier to claim after we did a quick ride at Indiana Jones.It was really really late so lines were no where and seating abundant. I devoured that sandwich. Ravished it. The chips a lovely crunchy component to the soft chewiness of the bread.I would get this again if I wanted a non-fried food option at Disneyland!"

"My sister & I met for a late lunch the day before 4th of July. Found ourselves checking out Country Cafe referred by friends. They close at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:00 Thought they might turn us away. We were so wrong. They greeted us cheerfully and never rushed us to order or finish up. Top notch service all around. Sister ordered a 2 egg scramble accompanied by brown rice, bacon and sourdough toast. Homemade strawberry jam. Delish. I ordered machaka - half a plate full of tasty shredded beef scrambled with fluffy eggs. Plentiful. Delicious. Cottage cheese, sourdough toast and brewed coffee completed my meal. So much food. We both took half our meals home for dinner. The cafe is ultra-clean. A wall of philodendron plants look well-loved - healthy, hardy, lacy - allowed filtered light to enter the lovely cafe. Impressive. Country Cafe has been in business for eight years. I live blocks away. I can't believe this was my first visit. It won't be my last."

Fried Chicken and beer are the best combination. There are many tables for seating, mostly outside. The restroom is next to the restaurant. They have everything you need on the side. The line goes pretty quick for order but expect to wait if you didn't order ahead. Highly recommend this place for Fried Chicken."

Within seconds, we were asked if we would prefer to dine outdoors or indoors.We were promptly seated indoors. Within minutes, our beverages were brought to our table.Erika, our server, was very attentive. After we placed our menu orders, we engaged in nostalgic conversations.Erika arrived with our food. I had ordered a patty melt on sourdough bread with curly fries. The carbohydrates were satisfying.A la carte eggs scrambled, two biscuits on the bottom, chicken-fried steak on top, two sunny-side-up eggs, hashbrowns, and two delectable hot chocolates.Erika approached our table and inquired about my husband's meal. He playfully remarked that it was terrible, causing her to halt in her tracks. We all burst into laughter.My patty melt was delectable, bursting with flavor and served on buttered bread. The chicken-fried steak was rated an eight out of ten, but it could have used more gravy.The biggest complaint we had was all the ice that was used in my hubby's Michelada the taste was good, one or two I e cubes would of been perfect besides all the small ice and serving a Michelada in a Bloody Mary cup come on."

Both locations make my favorite Hometown Latte well, but I prefer the open space at this Santa Ana location better. The parking sucks here, even though you can park inside the parking structure at the apartments here, I often find that the doors at the parking structure to get into the building is locked. Perhaps I come too early in the morning... but it is an annoyance to deal with. Other than that, if you can find the few street parking off to the side, then I think this location is better compared to Newport/Costa Mesa.People working here are friendly. I love how I can sit in the way back away from everyone and enjoy the bright an open space with my hubby. Keep it up, Huskins!"

They're essentially a Japanese deli and their menu is pretty simple with several types of onigiri, bread/sandos, and coffee/matcha. Pricing is not bad either at $7.50 for an onigiri set, although the breads for the same price can seem pretty pricey. However the bread is well worth the cost, especially the mentaiko one! I didn't get it this time, but def craving it for next time. I got the dalgona whipped coffee and matcha latte with oat milk. The coffee was nice and strong but still creamy. The matcha was decent as well; good balance of sweet and milky. I really can't complain for the price. It's located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. Inside you'll find about 4 tables and it was pretty empty on a weekday afternoon. There is WiFi as well so you can study or get work done. I'll be sure to stop by here when I'm in the area and try their other offering such as the giant New York style cookies and sandwiches."

This Chinese chain specializes in authentically brewed Chinese teas, and you can really taste the difference in the strength and fragrance of their milk teas. I also enjoyed their fruit drinks, which are crafted from real fruit and are a refreshing alternative to their more creamy milk tea drinks. There was a bit of a wait for our drinks (probably because of how large the order was), but it was definitely not super busy on a weekend afternoon, and I would highly recommend checking them out before it becomes hyped up.
