Brian V. "Sandwich shop, butcher shop/carniceria, purveyor of high end goods - this place is located in a strip mall off a busy street in Brea. An 'if you blink, you might miss it' type of place. Inside, it feels like a mom/ pop, family owned/operated type spot. It's clean and the folks here are friendly and helpful. The place is not large, but it has lots of quality, high end meats and a great selection relative to the size. If you want wagyu tomahawks, sausages, and even high quality burgers, etc,, they have all that here. I can't remember when or why exactly it was on my list/radar, but I think it had to be because of the sandwiches. There was a week where I had to go back and forth from City of Industry and Anaheim, so I thought it was a perfect chance to check this place out. I ordered the smoked wagyu pastrami, which is served on a toasted marbled rye bread with swiss cheese, mayo, and some pepperoncini. Not cheap, but didn't feel super expensive when thinking about what you got. It also comes with chips and a drink. This was an excellent sandwich. Great flavors and textures. Nice crunch with each bite. I would just note, however, that the meat was sliced thin side and it was layered vs. the thicker cut Jewish style deli pastrami. There are also other items for sale like salsas and tortillas. Just a really cool spot with great food and great people. I'm a big fan."

It feels good shopping at a local butcher and bringing home meat to be cooked the same evening. Customer service, in my opinion, is outstanding. What more can you ask for in a local specialty shop/butcher?!"

I wish I had found them sooner. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. Who would of known meat can look that good. The cuts here are absolutely phenomenal. Especially the Tom Hawks. If I was brave enough, I would have picked one up. I did get 3 pounds of Asada Ranchera. Jesus, the manager, prepared my meat after I selected it. A lot of places have the meat already prepared. Not here, though. They add all the good stuff after you order it.The counter girl was very friendly. Jesus the manager and his crew run a great shop.I'm a fan."

Maybe I didn't look good enough but I picked up 3 different items nothing priced! The wall consists of hard chicharron, chamoy goodies, chips, tortillas...They had about 5-6 different choices, ceviche, shrimp. It not much of a variety. It is priceyyyyyyy! Whew! To each their own!I know everything is pricey! But yikes!I ordered 3 lbs of costillas priced $7.99 lbs.My costillas were already in bag when the girl switch the price and said "oh prices are wrong!".My costillas were $14.99 a pound!!Um nope! I'm sorry but I need that priced honored. It didn't happen. The lady in front of me was also lost in the confusion!! I just walked out! Laura N. "Just Wow! Is the correct! Expression! Yes, prices have soured everywhere. What I apricate, the most was when everyone and their mother was hording the TP. Not one shop had legumes! Well, guess what? Nuno Bros Market had resources. You know why? because they monitored every single customer to assure they were only taking 2 items per family. Yup! that is how I scored Tp and legumes and other basic items. This is an old ma an pa operation. This is not a chain or it is not franchised so that being said. It is not fancy. The reason why I return to this little hole on the wall? Well, believe it or not it is due to certain authentic items such as 'Lirio" soup bars. Among other items that I am not going to bore you with. The meat dept is in my humble opinion over priced but then again it is the "convenience" they are charging. The customer service does not exist so do expect nothing per say special. The cashiers in my humble opinion are respectful but not driven to cater to no one. They do offer a ATM machine that comes in handy to pay your electrical bill in the corner of the shopping center. The shopping center is rundown but it offers an abundance of front face parking. No restrooms no wifi plastic is accepted English is Acceptable"

Sophia D. "Found this lovely gem of a place to buy some yummy steaks for my hubby for Valentine's Day! Was greeted by a nice gentleman who was welcoming and knew the different cuts of meat and suggested cuts that I should buy. I ended up buying the Australian ebony ribeye, Australian wagyu picanha and organic grass fed ribeye. All the meats were so good! We really enjoyed the picanha which I got on sale so that was a steal. Also bought flakey salt which I enjoyed with my steak too. All of the meats are of good quality and I thought that the price was fair. Definitely a great place to check out and it's clean and nice looking inside. Something you would expect the place to look like when you walk into a butcher shop. Thank you again to the gentlemen who helped me this past Monday 2/12! Will definitely be back!"

One of the highlights of this product is its ready to eat feature. You have a well-prepared, savory carnitas entree ready to serve. This feature is perfect for those busy weekday dinners when you need a quick yet satisfying meal, or even for those spontaneous weekend get-togethers. The carnitas has the right balance of quantity and quality. The succulent, well-seasoned pork can be added to several different dishes, offering a flavorful protein addition to tacos, burritos, salads, or rice bowls. You can get creative with it and serve a gourmet Mexican spread right at home. It's also great for hosting, as its quick and easy preparation, combined with its crowd-pleasing flavor, makes it an ideal choice for gatherings with friends. Overall, the Carnitas is very very good. Edward S. "At Mario's Butcher Shop, the deli cases are filled with high-quality cuts of meat and gorgeous steaks. There's a fast moving line that leads to a sandwich counter. The great care and attention to the exceptional meats and fresh ingredients result in incredible sandwiches and burgers.Steak Sandwich: The baguette is a solid vehicle for the wonderful meat. The steak is medium rare (or however you like it) and coated with a zingy chimichurri sauce. The really fresh lettuce and tomatoes addcrisp bites between meaty chews. Rib Sandwich: This is an elevated rib sandwich. The pork rib meat is tender and tasty. The pickles and onions add acidity to the mix. And the sticky BBQ sauce sweetens the savory richness. Dining Area: There's a tiny patio area squeezed off to the side of the shop with about half a dozen little tables. You most likely have to take your sandwiches to go.Parking: The little lot is packed to the gills. Be patient and a spot will eventually open up."

We decided to make Tomahawk steak for Christmas Eve and showed up to the location with little hopes of finding a full piece. But Marcelino assured my family that they did have it and brought it out. He was friendly to them and the service he provided was great. The store is big and has a lot of genuine products from Mexico, which is rare to see from many Mexican Markets. We arrived close to closing so the carne asada was almost gone; but he made more for us. The meat was very tasty, both kind. It was a hit at our family bbq/get together. Very tender and seasoned just right. While waiting, he let us try his sweet bread which was tasty as well. The store is not big in the way of selection; but it carries just what a person needs to have a bbq with carne asada. We also purchased flour tortillas which felt and looked homemade. Justin K. "It has been a while since I've written my last review, so here's one that I don't want to forget to write about!FMC is located on the border of Orange and Anaheim (think Bottle Logic Brewing) and is a small little meat company that serves a wide selection of meats. I have only gone here for the beef and man, the quality of the beef here is great! They only do prime grade beef (or better like wagyu!). The prices are reasonable, but keep an eye out on their social media to see what specials they have. Definitely take advantage of their specials because there's where you will get the best bang for your buck! Last time I went here, I grabbed a few boneless ribeyes at around $25 a pound. Not cheap, but man, those steaks came out excellent! Invited my parents over during Memorial Day and grilled these steaks. They came out juicy and delicious. Even my mom, who is not a meat eater, ate her steak and enjoyed every bite of it! I've had their Australian wagyu ribeyes, short ribs, and bone-in ribeye in the past. None of my times have ever disappointed me. I'll definitely be coming back in the near future!"

We love it & sometimes we mix it up & cook at home - thinking we are saving money when in reality it costs about the same or if not more, since my husband eats a lot. H Mart was completely cleaned out of beef brisket for NYE. What to do ?? That's right, I remembered Prime Meat Market, a hole in the wall meat shop specializing in Korean meats! If you know, you know! Lucky me, they were open when I arrived. I was hoping to pick up fresh, not frozen meat. I wanted to get a variety, tongue, belly & brisket. I get in & asked the lady but she told me there was only frozen brisket available. Priced at $60, it was plenty of meat for 2 of us. I was a bit disappointed though - for that type of money I would expect better marbling in the meat. I bought the pack anyway & complimentary, you get stinky radish + your choice of white or green onion + sauce. Great !The meat was alright - definitely not as tasty as the meat I get at H Mart. I would love to try this place again, but hopefully when I go there will be more options available & not just frozen brisket :(."
