"First time at King Chang, and I can see why my Korean girlfriend loves this place. The lively ambiance, upbeat music, and attentive staff were definite highlights.Food: * Banchan: Great variety--Japchae noodles, broccoli, candied peanuts, fish jerky, salad, and bean sprouts were all solid. The kimchi, however, was pale and bland. * Couple Combo: My boyfriend and his daughter, who lived in Seoul for years and is quite picky, loved the pork belly but found the Galbi a bit too sweet. The soybean paste stew was good but not the best she's had. * Seafood Pancake: Our favorite! Packed with seafood and perfectly crispy--if you love pancakes, this is a must-order. * Spicy Octopus Rice in Hot Stone Pot: Absolutely delicious! I wished for more octopus and less rice, but it was so good I happily took leftovers home. * Buckwheat Noodles in Chilled Broth: Served mid-meal, though it felt more like a dessert. It was okay but not something I'd reorder. * Corn Cheese: Simply delicious.Overall, we had an amazing experience. There's a reason this spot is a favorite among K-pop and K-drama stars. Just a heads-up--you will leave smelling like KBBQ, so come prepared!"
"Had the 2 meat plate, with brisket and pulled pork. Food was great. This was an awesome spot, great ambiance, and even better service!"

"For the price and for the quality of the food, this establishment has a high value. The ribs were succulent, the brisket was fall apart, and the sides and sauces you can tell we're homemade. Unfortunately, for today, I'm lazy and had to order to go but for sure next time I'm gonna go in and eat and enjoy myself in this delicious barbecue. Thank you RibBro for bringing good humble barbecue to Orange County."
"Delicious food! and smells so good! All the kindest people! I absolutely recommend this place for a great meal!"
"Delicious authentic Korean food!!! They are very generous with the side dishes. We ordered the pork katsu, ox tail soup, cold noodles & tofu seafood soup, everything was absolutely yummy! My entire family loves this restaurant, make sure to put in a reservation!"
"This place was highly recommended to me by several people, and it did not disappoint! The rice, vegetable skewers, meat skewers, and hummus platter were all a welcome change from a lot of the other quick service restaurants in the park. Food was hot and tasty! I'd skip the tiger tail breadstick, it was essentially flavorless bread. Order ahead on the app and arrive a bit early as there is minimal seating and it may take some time to find a seat. Will definitely go here again my next visit in the park!"
"So I've never been to BCD Tofu but I took a friend to this restaurant who goes there all the time and they told me that It's Tofu is a better and less busy version of BCD. In all honesty I still haven't been to BCD yet and after what she told me I don't think I'll be going unless I get a craving late at night Walking into the restaurant you're immediately greeted by all the employees, no matter what they're doing. The restaurant is a bit minimal as far as decor goes (at least when I went) but the food speaks mouth for itself. Even though I walked in at a busy time, myself and my friend were immediately seated and greeted by the staff. They took the time to explain the items on the menu and provide recommendations. Not even 5 mins later our waiter brought all the side dishes to the table, along with some tea and a rice pot for each of us Once the food got served we both dug in. The cut of the beef was so clean and tender, the broth with the soft tofu were phenomenal and you can tell everything on the table is fresh to order or at the very least prepared fresh daily. I made the mistake of falling in love with this place because all I do now is crave it almost 24/7 LOL My only complaint is that this place does close earlier than most restaurants, but it's not something in my book that is worth docking a star over. If you love Korean-centric food at a affordable price, this is the spot for you"
"Butcher shop is excellent. Meat and seafood very good and butchers are friendly and knowledgeable.Deli is also good, food made when you order so you may have to wait while they prep it but well worth the wait."
"We loved the bold and tangy flavor of the BBQ sauce on the loaded fries. 10/10 would get again. The chicken pot pie soup did not come out hot.. maybe Luke warm at best. However, their biscuits in the center really make the soup taste good. I loved the buttery mash potatoes so I wish I got one of those meals instead. I got lucky and was brought inside to eat for my reservation and it really keeps the noise out so you can really refresh from Disneyland and get a second wind for the rest of your day. Get the 2 or 3pm reservation to recharge !The servers are really attentive and super nice.I wish there was a restroom in the building - just doesn't make sense to me not to have one for guests eating in at these type of restaurants."
"So if you are into AYCE then you might love how you can stuff your face here. Given that we are eating healthfully these days, we didn't value that as much and would have preferred to pay by the bowl. The noodles tasted like spaghetti - not the thinner noodles or udon that typically is served. I appreciated the cleanliness, with the gloves for handling the serving. Since it is AYCE, you don't need to fill up the bowl to stack as an art form since you can return for seconds assuming you are willing to wait in line again. They did have multiple chefs each cooking one meal at a time so that flowed better and was less chaotic. However, they cook with a good amount of oil, heavy style - so be prepared if you eat clean. I had mistakenly thought since it was grilled on the wok that would be a lighter meal and I could just do protein and veggies but it was greasier than I like. They state that you must finish everything you take and it was hard to finish my one small plate because of the oil.Included in the price is a white rice bowl, and a pastry puff bread roll. They have nice disposable paper placements with the Chinese zodiac signs for each year which my kids found fun. Thankfully my husband and I were signs that were listed as compatible - whew, haha that could have been an awkward dinner conversation. They had high chairs which is always helpful. Plenty of parking available in the lot."
"Absolutely love this place. The servers are sweet and kind. The prices are reasonable (in my opinion) for what you get. I usually order the spicy tofu soup that comes with the panchan. The little crispy fried fish are also a favorite. Recently, I shared the steamed egg dish and it's so fluffy and delicious. I can't wait to try the ginseng chicken."
"I visited this business yesterday for lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the ordering; the space itself is small, so you mostly eat on the shared patio - it was too hot for me yesterday so i brought food back to my office. I had the combo plate with Beef bulgogi and chicken katsu, with white rice, cabbage salad, kimchi and macaroni salad. The bulgogi was a little chewy and the mac salad was a little boring, but everything else was great. (Add some soy sauce to the mac to improve it!) It was really expensive - over $20. I may come back - the food was really good, just a little pricy."

Had a great time introducing LARGE INTESTINE, a la carte, to a Korean BBQ fan at this popular spot. They use Yelp for the waitlist, which made getting a table pretty smooth. We also ordered the COUPLE SET (Brisket, Pork Belly, and Bulgogi), and both were excellent. The large intestine was prepared at the kitchen and served steaming hot. The grill-your-own-meat at the table was fun, flavorful and well-marinated.Possibly, one of the highlights was the variety of side dishes, as each one was fresh, delicious, and added to the experience. The banchan selection really stood out and made the meal even more enjoyable. As a small souvenir, we left carrying the signature smoky aroma of a great KBBQ night. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

Absolutely delicious. Super friendly staff, nice vibe in the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty small but other than that it was great! Ribs are fall-off-the-bone and all the other meats we had at our table were top-notch. Cornbread and Mac'n Cheese were both very good. Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Newport Beach!

I just ate there and the only regret I have is not taking a pic.Today was our first time there and the owner was really nice and have us some recommendations and no regrets. We ordered the 3meat (Brisket, pork rib and pulled pork) / 3side (tangy slaw, corn bread and potato salad) choice and it was more than enough for the 2 of us. Meats were moist and yummy! Sides were fresh and delish. Service was great, place was clean and it made us feel welcome. This is our new BBQ place for sure.

Omg! I'm ashamed of myself for never eating here before. All that time I could have been here weekly, wasted!Guess I have a lot to make up for!Was in the mood for some sandwiches. I usually go to jersey mikes but wanted to try out a little locally owned place. Also noticed their big award that says it was one of yelps top places to eat in 2022. On their Yelp page I also read their write up about the owners. And how they smoke their own meats, use family recipes, do catering, are happy to make custom orders and they seem to really care about the quality of their food and happy customers. I can see why this place has such a good rating. You can really tell the owners have put their heart and soul into this place They have a large private parking lot, but it was packed when I got there. (I have a handicap placard And even all those spots were filled up) As soon as I walked in I was so overwhelmed by all the amazing options and the delicious smell. I had a bunch of questions on what the staff here suggested We got 2 large sandwiches. The pastrami with cheese, pickles and mustard. And the brisket which we added Mayo and cheese. It came with a vinegar based sauce. Not quite NC style, more like vinegar with texas bbq sauce. We said no thank you and asked for Mayo instead. The guy that took our order was nice enough to bring it out to us in containers on the side so we could try it still. It was really good The meat had a delicious Smokey taste, but not overpowering at allThey offer a really nice selection of deli sides. There was so many to pick from. But we got the small pasta salad and the small Mac and cheese (they were out of potato salad) they also have a selection of chips and drinks for sale. It did take a while for our sandwiches to be made since they are so fresh and made to order. But as my granny always said, you can't rush perfection!! He told us it would be about 15 minutes. It all came out in 10 to be exact The price did quickly add up. The total came to around 40 dollars (with a coupon and not including tip) while checking out their menu online before coming here I noticed they had a sign up reward program. For signing up I got 10 percent off. So I strongly suggest doing that!! Because even though with the sides, the prices of the sandwiches were pricy in my opinion. But worth it. Especially since they do put a good amount of meat on themThey have a couple tables outside. This is definitely more of a to go place. Would love it if they had a larger indoor dining area.Overall 10/10 I'm going to start coming here all the time. Thank you again to the friendly staff who helped me with all their great suggestions

Went by myself for a little treat and got me a hot stone beef bulgogi bibimbap. Real good! All the textures were perfect and i really loved the selection of sides. Bowl came out sizzling hot and made little bits of crispy rice at the bottom that i loved!! Huge portion too. This has lasted me 2 meals and counting. Id like to come back and try a spicy version - just tried to play it safe first! The cook did come out and slide me a fork halfway through me eating it tho. Didnt really need that. But im sure it was just a kind gesture - im very white ;). Great hot tea served alongside it too for free!

Best burgers ever! The steaks fries are like no others, just the best! Eat at the shop to get the full effect of the great burgers and steak fries. They also have old school soda pop! While you are there, get some Boars head deli meat or get some Harris Ranch Beef!! By the way, the place is clean and the staff are prompt, friendly, and always smiling.

"My family and I met here for dinner tonight to celebrate our father's bday since we couldn't meet at our parent's graves we met for dinner. We have been here quite a few times. My Dad's step son used to work here a couple years ago too. It's a nice restaurant it's always busy, the food quality is really good. You can cook in front of you or ask them to cook in the back, which is what we did tonight. There were 8 of us for dinner so we ordered 2 orders of Bulgogi and Beef Brisket. They give you a good amount of banchan too for side dishes. We also ordered Kimchi-jjigae my sister and I shared that, it's our lifelong favorite growing up. A lot of seating in here, but sometimes it gets totally filled up. Our server's name was Kaitlyn, she was really nice. She was her server the last time we came here as well. I just didn't take pictures the last time we came. She's really sweet and got everything we asked for thank you so much, she actually overheard our conversation about my sister and her kids telling us their story about their experience in the fires and how terrifying it was, she felt so bad, asked if we needed anything else she was just really empathetic and kind thank you so very much. It was pretty empty so they were able to hear our conversation easily which we didn't mind. It was really nice of her to ask if we were all OK. What my family went through and what everybody has into during the fires is truly devastating and heartbreaking so our heart goes out to everyone affected by the fires. All the employees here are friendly. It wasn't very busy tonight so we got seated right away. It's very nice restaurant. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't already. The food is delicious they are pretty quick with getting you everything you need. My one only thing I wish the barley tea was hotter, everything else amazing! Thank you so much for our delicious meal, and excellent customer service.Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :)Aloha"
"We were craving "soup" during a chilly winter night. Yelp suggested a nearby Korean Tofu Soup. The Da Rae BBQ Restaurant is not well lite in the late hours. The small restaurant is located behind another Japanese restaurant and wedge between car wash express. The restaurant is very cramped and establishment hasn't be updated for some time so looks outdated. There are approximately 8 tables accommodating small family or groups.Being 1.5 hours before closing, we were quickly seated, orders taken and food came out fairly soon. The only complaint was two items were missed and we had to remind the owner. Ironically, those were "bbq" items. haha! The banchans (complementary side dishes) were good. The kimchi and cucumbers were the best. We ordered a side of japchae (cold glass noodles) and it was disappointing. The tofu combo soup is delicious and flavorful. There are option for spice level so amp it up if you can handle the heat. Overall, the service is good. The owner is very cordial. I will certainly return to support this mom and pop shop."
"This is the place to get happy hour in South OC if beer is your thing. They have an awesome selection of all kinds of beer. They also have a solid snack and burger menu. The service is great. They are very helpful while you pick out your beer and they have staff waking around to clear used tables for new parties. Half outside half inside, this place is perfect for casual drinking after work with a few buddies!"
"Finally a Japanese AYCE BBQ plus sushi and more!! I can't get over how many different varieties of meats (steak, chicken, seafood, and beef tongue) you can choose from! The appetizers, soup, curry, sushi (nigiri and cut rolls) were endless! Dessert only included marshmallows and s'mores but I'm not mad about it. Drinks are not included in the AYCE price (current $49.99/person). Service was quick!! You order from an iPad at your table and the orders are sent directly to the kitchen. Food comes out fast!! The staff were all so nice and polite. They drop off the food and make rounds to clear empty dishes off the table to make room for more food! The grills do get replaced after good use!Love the (disco) vibe tonight with ABBA playing in the background along with other upbeat tracks! I'm so happy to have tried this new place!! Will definitely be back! Beware of the weekends: you can't just walk in! Reserve your table ahead of time. There's a line out the door at 445pm with people who made reservations! Madness but worth it!"
"I strolled into Bourbon St. on Sunday. A few gents were watching a playoff game on TV. Jacob, the bartender, kept the bar clean, took orders promptly, and engaged occasionally in congenial conversation with what appeared to be the regulars for a Sunday afternoon.Jacob took my order shortly after I sat down. His demeanor and self presentation were well suited for this bar & the line of work. I don't drink much, so I simply asked for a pineapple juice. Jacob poured the glass, served the glass, and took my money more expediently than most bartenders--even during a slower time of night. The juice kept me loose too.5 stars. A solid & sufficiently staffed bar."
"Great experience. Won't break the bank but still delivers on quality. The menu's got all the essentials--no beef tongue or super fancy cuts, but they nail the basics like pork belly, brisket, and chicken. Shoutout to Jack, the manager, who was super friendly and accommodating. Will return."
"Great place for a work lunch. It's close by the office and there's never a wait to get seated. Parking is sufficient. (And if you want coffee afterwards, there are convenient options. The service is good. I've always had friendly waitresses and staff. The food is good too! Most recently, we all had the yupgyejang. Warm soup on a chilly day is the wonderful feeling. Try the seafood pancake. A favorite of my team is the tofu soup.I recommend this restaurant. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes. The only thing to be aware of is that some dishes can be ordered spicy or mild. If you're sensitive to that, just make sure you tell the waitress when you order."
"Really tasty filet & premium sides! Love the outdoor tables to catch up with friends while still eating a home cooked meal. The mac & cheese was hot throughout, definitely could have ate more. Thank you tons Tiffany for the great service even when we came pretty late. We will be back to try more on the menu!"
"We ordered fresh shrimp rolls and pad see ew shrimp and both were delicious. Prompt service and piping hot food...enjoy. This is a mom and pop storefront but has a 64 seat capacity. Simple decor and very clean and tidy."
"This little restaurant, located a block away from the Seal Beach pier, has a simple interior with some eclectic wall hangings. I stopped in for an early dinner (or maybe late lunch) when they weren't busy. Hanna was my server and she was very cordial and attentive.I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with a side - I chose coleslaw. I also ordered a biscuit, based on the recommendation of other reviews, which tickled my curiosity. For a drink I got a lemonade which was tart and refreshing. The pulled pork sandwich was monstrous. Rather than a bun it's served on a long, crunchy roll. The tender pork was covered with slaw, pickles and a deliciously tangy Carolina bbq sauce and had a nice smokey flavor. As I never smelled that smokey smell of barbecue floating in the air I am guessing they smoke their meat off-site or have an amazing ventilation system. The side slaw was okay, a "healthy" version which was a bit too plain for my taste. It was a bad decision as a side since the sandwich already had plenty of coleslaw; I ended up eating little of it. The homemade biscuit was amazing. They provide berry jam and a house-made fennel butter which was incredible. If I wasn't already stuffed from the ginormous sandwich I might have ordered a second biscuit just to savor more of that fennel butter. I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Whatever you order, get the biscuit."
"Very clean and nice ambiance to dine in and would come againI got the roasted duck and honey bbq bowl and it gets the job done. Duck was flavorful but I found the honey bbq pork to lack the caramelization that I'm used to. Also got pig ears for an appetizer and it was delicious. It comes seasoned mala-style which is slightly spicy."
"We just visited Aloha BBQ and we enjoyed our food! The service was great & the portions good. Even the kids meal had a good amount of food. The place is cute and has nice ambiance with hawaain music playing in the background."
"Tried their 2 item mix combo with short ribs and chicken katsu + spam musubi. The food was phenomenal and so delicious. It truly hit that Hawaiian bbq comfort food spot. I cant recommend them enough! The staff are super friendly and helpful! The restaurant itself was clean and playing fun Christmas music which is very fitting for the times. Love this place and can't wait to visit again!"
"Great people and amazing food! Found them down the street from our house at the American Legion and rushed over! The owners are super cool and hooked us up! The price and the quality are great! Grab some BBQ sauce and be sure to try the blueberry corn bread! We were so excited about the food we even forgot our beans! Next time!"
"Husband and I got 꽃쌀 prime boneless short rib and small intestine tofu soup. Was bomb dot com. All the side dishes were so tasty and fresh. Our server grilled our meat very well."
"I had walked by this place a few times & always thought about trying it but I waited for the right moment. I finally decided to try it today- I ordered it on DoorDash and picked it up to eat it at home. My van broke down and my food sat for at least an hour til I was able to get home.As soon as I got in the door I sat down to enjoy my dinner plate- huge portions for the greatest hits. I tried the meats first- all very delicious. The pan fried rib eye is amazing & the bulgogi marinade is delicious! I was dying for the macaroni salad and it was sooo worth the wait. Every bite of everything was phenomenal. I'll probably be having this once a week. And you have bibimbap?! 10/10!"
"Came in looking for some bbq sliders seen the rib plate and decided to go with that. Not only did they look great but also were tasty. The coleslaw itself was worth the drive. On a side note the assistance Keith gave me was great in options to order. Great customer service above and beyond and would highly recommend Also Brian's sports bar next door in case you want to catch a game or a brew while you wait for your food"
"It's a nice spot. The ambiance is nice for this kind of place. The service was spot on and the food was the best barbecue.I've had in orange county. The price seems high until you see the mountain of food. They bring you. I could get to maybe three really nice meals out of this..."
"They are convenient close. Good food friendly and local. I like taking out their combos and appreciate that they're kind of an old school Dana point business."
"****3.5 Stars****I was so excited when this first popped up to replace Famous Dave's. Alas, our experience wasn't anything amazing. Inside: The space is more or less exactly the same before. Very spacious with patio seating, and bar seating as well. Very open. Great for big groups. Food: They had a "limited time" menu for different mac and cheeses so we tried their Cajun Shrimp Mac & Cheese which had bacon bits and green onion toppings. Nothing Cajun about this. No flavor. Super creamy but lacking seasoning. The shrimp were measly and the serving size was for 2-3 people but overall small portion for the price. Would not get again. 1/2 Smoked chicken with 2 sides: The chicken was a great portion, moist and cooked perfectly. But Really Under seasoned. They have 4 signature BBQ sauces for dipping. So that helped. The sides: the green bean casserole was terrible. No flavor. Mushy. Just bland cup of greens. The sweet corn was the star. So flavorful and a slight kick of heat. We also tried their jalepeno slaw since their green bean was so disappointing. It was a better side, but again nothing spectacular. Kid's meal: Many options to choose from including a variety of sides. My daughter had the cheeseburger with the sweet potato tots. The cheeseburger was whatever and the tots were terrible. Cold and not crispy at all. Customer service: The hostess and waiter were nice and attended to us periodically. Overall would be happy to come back and try other items as their menu is extensive. But not sure this will be our go to for BBQ."
"Another KBBQ spot, third time's a charm they sayK-House, Gogiya, hope this one is here to staySeoul N Spirits is non-AYCE, you order à la cartePlus soups and stews that will warm your heart Located in a plaza that's a bit quiet and off-beat If you know Tanaka Farms, it's across the street It wasn't busy, I found a parking spot out in front Was seated quickly with no long wait, to be blunt Apps include kimchi pancakes, corn cheese-zers Dumplings, glass noodles, other crowd pleasers Meat menu has the typical pork and beef dishes Also bibimbap, stir-fry, grilled and braised fishes Brisket (chadol baegi 차돌박이) was a good startFollowed by the Ribeye (등심), that was smart Steamed Egg (gyeran jjim 계란찜) is soft and fluff Marinated bulgogi (불고기) texture is slightly tough Yangnyeom Galbi (양념갈비) was very sweet Paired with nice and hot kimchi stew, a real treat! Marinated Jumuluk (주물럭) goes well with rice Boneless Short Rib (ggot sal 꽃살) was also nice They will cook the meat for you right at the tableBut sometimes they are busy and unable Watch the grill to ensure the food doesn't burnOtherwise that'll be a lesson you'll learn!"
"I love the lamb skews really tasty. And the ramen noodle soup is a must! Service is wonderful and they are very attentive. I love dining in, but it can get dangerous because the more you eat the more you wanna try. I recommend this place to everyone who's ramen lover."
"Do you love Texas BBQ?If you do, don't go here!Throughout the pandemic, I was very conscious of how restaurants hung on the edge of going out of business. I tried to only share positive experiences. We're back baby, and I have to share this review as a PSA for others.I should've known food was going to be horrible when your cornbread is wrapped up and served to you in plastic wrap in the condiments tray.I actually thought that someone left their trash in the bbq sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper rack.Nope, it was my cornbread. Sorry, if this is a Texas BBQ tradition I wasn't aware. And if not, just a terrible way to present your food.I should've walked out at that point. My bad, I waited to see how my "Texas Beef Ribs" would turn out.Once the food came out, I knew I should've trusted my gut. This was the poorest looking beef rib I've ever seen. This poor cow must've been anorexic. This was the smallest, non meaty beef rib of all time. Now for the chopped brisket...well to say that I thought it looked like dog food would be an understatement. This plate was so bad, I just left it on the table. I took one bite half expecting to get sick and I spit it out. I know I could've complained, but the reality is this place doesn't care or have any pride in the food they serve. Please don't waste your time or money for this sad "Texas BBQ"!"
