Quick bite for lunch at the mall was not bad at all. Plenty of seating around the food stall. Chicken was crispy yet tender. I had the salad and it was surprisingly fresh with good portion. My husband also enjoyed his chicken waffle and was quite surprised.Ordering was easy and staff were friendly and nice. Had more of the strawberry lemonade drink to go, too sweet for me so i asked for more ice in it.

Bruxie at South Coast Plaza is located in Bloomingdale's along with other vendors. We ordered The Crispy, tenders, loaded waffle fries, and a grilled chicken salad. The CRISPY sandwich was well seasoned perhaps a tad too salty for me however it was nicely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Honestly $13 for just the chicken sandwich (no fries and no drink) is wild to me.The Nashville hot TENDERS were tasty and not hot at all, just mild and the waffle fries were very good. The LOADED WAFFLE FRIES were delicious and coated in sauce and bacon bits. Plentiful to share. GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD could feed two people. The dressing was drizzled on and topped off with avocado slices, a sliced hard boiled egg, diced tomatoes, cheese, and bacon bits. Two chicken sandwiches, 3 tenders, loaded waffle fries, and a salad was a whopping $70. Dipping sauce was .60

My wife and I along with one of our sons were shopping at the South Coast Plaza and all came to the decision to try the Bruxie location here.We looked at the menu that offered so many mouthwatering choices with a large waffle being the vessel your choice of meat it would be resting on.The young lady who took our order was very pleasant, helpful and patient answering all of our menu questions. We settled on two Holy Chickens and our son ordered Jumbo tenders with seasoned fries. We all ordered soft drinks for our meal.In short time, our order was ready. Seating for this location is rather limited in scope, but luckily we were able to sang a table as someone else was leaving. Our two Holy Chicken sandwiches were decent in size for the price. The chicken was properly cooked and not dry, thankfully! The maple glazed bacon added another level of deliciousness coupled with the now popped egg yolk of the sunny side up egg smothering the entire sandwich. Too messy (in a good way) for my wife and and I to pick up and continue eating with our hands: using our knives and forks looked much more civilized in a public space. Our son wolfed down his double order of the chicken tenders and fries. He really like the tenders for being moist, reasonably coated and seasoned to his liking. we all tasted his fries and liked them, though they kinda reminded us of another fast for chain that specializes in chicken sandwiches and waffle fries too.We were all very satisfied with our selections and service. We will definitely be visiting the other Orange County Bruxie locations as well!!!

I love a good chicken and waffles and this was a great version of that! I'd still stand on the side of using utensils over eating it like a sandwich, because it's messy and the waffle got soggy from the syrup and juices. The chicken was well cooked and had a great crisp and waffle fries are just amazing.

We used to go to the one in Irvine. We ordered chicken and waffle ($13)with an additional piece of chicken tender ($3). The Belgian waffle recipe was different but much more crispier. The previous version was already good, especially when it included the sugar pearls. The current version sadly left out the pearl sugar, but I felt there might be cheese added to the crust. I think it was a little too crunchy, but it'll definitely pair well with syrup and heavy topping.Chicken tenders were well seasoned and not dry. They are of medium size so it wasn't overly heavy. The lady who helped us was patient enough, but could be a little friendlier. We only waited about 10 minutes to get our food, which was great. In the previous Irvine location, it'd normally take 15-25 minutes so I didn't like going while hangry. I'll come back for sure.

This place is definitely giving your local waffle connoisseur a run for their money ! Came to this location because I wanted to see if it was worth the hype and they definitely get a A+ in my books!! I have has been to several Asian countries that he and I both agree that this waffle has a different kind of texture that is similar to some form of fusion of your traditional American waffle with street Asian fried food batter It's definitely unique and in its own lane as far as waffles currently on the market in the US ! It was very flaky and delicious and the portions were just right ! The service was very pleasant and quick ! It is located in the food court within the mall so the ambience honestly just depends on how pack the surrounding locations are, but it was very clean and well kept . The food and service was definitely a five out of five I will be back to this location when in the area

I love this area of South Coast. So many options and Bruxie is one of them. What I like in particular about Bruxie is it's by the front where there are ample seats and open airy windows. The food is very filling and imo portions pretty big. Food was hot and fresh and delicious.

Absolutely how I remember it! I haven't been to Bruxie in AGES and I'm so glad I had some time to kill before a hair appointment down the street. I got the blt ranch chicken waffle sandwich with tots and a Diet Coke. Perfection. Messy Perfection. Outdoor seating only but cute with flowers and patio umbrellas. The staff was as helpful as they could be, though a little pushy. I needed a minute to review the menu and I was asked 3 times if I was ready or needed help. I didn't, just needed time. Cute little lunch spot!

Overall a good chicken place. The chicken isn't dry or overcooked which is important to me. The sauces are interesting! Usually, I do not like super dill heavy ranch dips but theirs toes the line, hovering just under the "too much dill" line. Their Honey BBQ sauce is interesting - it has a flavor I felt was familiar but couldn't place my finger on it. It was something unique to a BBQ sauce - like they had poured maple syrup in it. Their staff were nice, helpful. Cracked a few smiles at my jokes too! This is located in Bloomingdales on the ground floor - there is an awkward space to form a line as it technically impedes traffic in and out of the store.I will be going back again to try the waffles!

The food, the service and the vibe! Well, there I was, cruising toward Huntington Beach, feeling rather self-satisfied for sticking to my fast since breakfast. This smug sense of achievement was promptly demolished when I spotted Bruxie on the corner. Before I knew it, I had waltzed through their doors, breaking my fast with the enthusiasm of a kid sneaking into a candy store. I was immediately greeted by a beaming smile and the intoxicating aroma of waffles and fried chicken. It was as if the universe itself had orchestrated this moment of indulgence. The covered patio was an oasis, with fans gently swirling warm air in every direction, creating an ambiance that felt both comforting and indulgent. I settled in, savoring a strawberry Arnold Palmer that was more than just a drink--it was an experience. The service was top-notch, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the bathrooms spotless and charmingly tiled, a detail I attribute to my HGTV addiction. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. The chicken was of such high quality that I half-expected it to recite Shakespeare. The honey mustard sauce, with its perfect blend of sweet and tangy, was the star of the show. But don't worry, they offer a whole smorgasbord of in-house sauces, each more tempting than the last. It was a meal that managed to be both utterly satisfying and dangerously delicious. In short, it was a gastronomic delight, served with a side of impeccable service and a sprinkle of comfort.
