Bravo Avo Greek & Mediterranean Restaurant

Came here on a Friday at 12:30. It took over 30 minutes to receive my take-out order. I am not that surprised because I saw a review on Yelp complaining about forgotten orders, and also someone complaining about prioritizing takeout orders. How about do the customer tickets in the same order received? We saw three people being seated and having their meals served, who came after us, in the 30+ minutes it took for them to get our to go order done.The food is fresh, but in no place in Orange County is it reasonable to wait 30 minutes for take out, at least not without a heads up (most people are on their lunch break and have to get back to work). We had simply ordered a salad with gyro meat, and kabobs - nothing fancy.I gave 2 stars because the food was good, but I will not be back.

Such a beautiful place, made me feel like I was in Europe. The people are very kind and lovely here. The food hit the spot. It tasted delicious!!(:Also the music they play here is so beautiful.

After seeing this spot a few times, finally made it in. The staff/owners were so friendly and welcoming. The night we went, there was a gentleman playing the violin and space made you feel like you were in Greece or some other Mediterranean country. We ordered the kabob combo and a lemon chicken pasta dish. Both were delicious and the pasta dish was something I've never had at a Mediterranean place. We'll be back now that we know it's great.

Food is so so but very expensive. Owner, the man, very obnoxious and arrogant. If you're looking for Mediterranean food, just head over to The Garden! Wayyy better experience

I've only ordered takeout so far, so I can't speak to the ambiance, but the quality of the food and service has been outstanding each time. I tried their gyro sandwich a few months ago when I was having an insatiable hankering for a gyro, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is generously filled with flavorful gyro meat, fresh and crisp veggies, and comes with a side of tzatziki. It's the perfect portion size that fills you up without feeling like you need a nap afterwards.I recently tried their Combo Bravo, which includes a generous portion of sliced gyro meat, seasoned chicken breast, and tender zucchini on top of a bed of rice, a side salad with dressing, a warm pita, and a side of tzatziki. It was a well-rounded meal with a little bit of everything.I also really enjoy those little "thank you" stickers that they put onto their to-go containers. It warms my heart to support a local business that clearly takes great pride in their food and service. Hot Tip: They participate in the Shop and Dine Lake Forest BOGO gift card program, which makes everything basically 50% off. Am I girl-mathing right?

If you were closed you could just let me know that instead of giving me the left overs .You say chef work overtime you gave me my meal within 5 minutes .Does it look 6 oz to you ? From the picture there was no more on top thats the one i moved it on side to check if there was any more . Please stop lying and try to be nice to reply back on the review. If you really want to make it right issue me a refund .

Second time here, the food is good but the lady who took my order was extremely rude. She raised her voice at me when I told her that I wanted a gyro wrap but got a gyro plate. I went up just to confirm if my order was correct but she yelled at me instead. Wasn't looking for free food or anything just wanted to make sure my order was correct. The menu on the tv was partial blocked so I couldn't see the full menu when ordering. I asked her if she only had one type of gyro wrap.She might not have heard me correctly and I should have confirmed before paying but there was no need to yell. I definitely would have been fine with eating the gyro plate since it was already made and paid for.It was just a misunderstanding but I've never been treated so disrespectfully at a restaurant. You should never raise your voice at someone.

Delicious food & my family loves ordering take out and also celebrating birthdays at this quaint and clean restaurant. So far, we have celebrated my son's 20th birthday, my husband, my mom & my very own 60th birthday with around 20 guests and they all enjoyed their orders.They provide excellent service and made each celebration very special and memorable. Our favorite dishes is both the chicken and rib eye loin beef kabob (so tender and tasty). My brother loves the 7 hours roasted lamb. Thank you to the fantastic owners for caring about their guests!
