Food is so goodFound a new spot to have a good authentic foodAnd the price is reasonable Service is good too i think the owner is the one hus taking the order and cooking tooThats why the food is good ..Well the waiting is a little longer but u will understand after you taste the food..

January 27, 2025: Updated ReviewI am updating my first review of January 17, 2025 and lowering my rating from 5 stars to one star because of my recent experience on the morning of January 25, 2025 when I ordered 4 baguettes to go. The old lady who prepared our sandwiches used day-old bread! I noticed that she didn't use the fresh bread out of the tray but she took out 4 breads from a big plastic bag underneath the counter. I didn't think much of it - as I thought that the plastic bag also contained freshly baked bread. I also noticed that she wasn't wearing any gloves (so I was hoping that she just thoroughly washed her hands before preparing the sandwiches). She also asked me not observe her while she's making the bread which is an odd request. But I complied anyway and sat on the chair while waiting. It turns out that they were old bread indeed! My friend and I noticed it right away when we started eating them. I was embarrassed because I was raving about this restaurant's banh mi to my friend, and it was so obvious that the breads were old. But we couldn't return the sandwiches as we were not in the area anymore. So I came back today January 27 at around 5pm and asked the same old lady why she used old bread from the day before. She said that she just works there and uses whatever bread she has. So I told her that freshly baked breads were available because I saw a bunch of them on the trays that Saturday morning. (Note that banh mi's attraction for us customers is basically the freshly baked baguettes.) No apologies given, only an excuse that she apparently had to use all available bread even if it's old.) I told her that I'm ordering 3 more sandwiches and she'd better use fresh bread that were baked today. It was a younger lady who then prepared and handed me my sandwiches. I got home, we ate the sandwiches and they were fine. But I'm still giving it 1 star because there was never an apology or any assurance that she will not use day old bread again... so it will be a "hit or miss" order from this restaurant, which is too bad because they will lose customers with this practice of serving old bread... and to think that bread ingredients don't even cost that much relative to the other ingredients. Trying to save money this way will backfire. I'm curious if the owner/franchisor (is this a franchise?) will read this review and confirm if it is in fact their policy to use all breads including the old breads from the day before.---------------------------January 17, 2025 (Previous Review): Finally found a decent Vietnamese restaurant in my area that serves fresh pho at very reasonable prices.I ordered via the "drive-in" so I didn't have to get out of my car. The kid who took my order was very polite and he had the credit card reader with him. They were out of bank mi which is understandable as I came around closing time and I'm sure all of the fresh baguettes were sold out. So I opted for the beef pho. I got home and found the they even added extra meatballs plus a meat eggroll. Both are very good. I will definitely come back. This used to be the old Arby's so it looks like a fast food place, but it's not. I didn't get the chance to check out the indoor dining. But I'm still giving this place 5 stars for the food quality, service and affordability.

The morning I came here I was preparing to get something to eat for my golf outing with my son and friend. I figured bahn mi sandwiches are perfect. I usually like to go to Bahn Mi Checali in Westminster, but it was out of the way. I was in the Buena Park/ Cypress area and I saw BMC Pho. I figured most Pho places would have sandwiches. So upon going in they had the perfect special of buy two get one free and they offer the usual combination, BBQ Pork, and a ham and cheese which all looked good to me and the delicious photo menu that they have to make everything very appealing. The sandwiches were perfect and easy to eat on the golf course. The Bahn Mi's had jalapeño peppers in them which I like, but man they had a super kick of spice. The sweet ending to this whole experience that my son brought to my attention is that BMC was for Bahn Mi Checali and is similar to the other locations. I'm definitely coming back here for more than Bahn Mi's. Especially because this place is very close to my home.

I ordered the special beef noodle soup, M1, based off the cashier's recommendation. The broth was solid, the noodles were flat and wide which I liked. They don't give as much meat as some other places I've gone to. I also prefer the beef that is served at other places. The tendon was solid though. The restaurant isn't that big but it does have a lot of booth seating around the perimeter of the restaurant. The cost to eat out has gotten noticeably higher the last few years. I would consider BMC's prices to be on the affordable side. I will be coming back to try their spring rolls and other noodle dishes. I love noodles and they have a menu with lots of noodle options. Hoping I find some that I really like.

My friend told me about this place and I had to try it. I got the pork sandwich and Boba for$9.70 and it was great. The bread and sandwich were really good for only$10. That's amazing and it tasted really good.

Called in for a to-go order. Pho was great. Only downside was I went in on a Friday afternoon and they said they were out of soup. Never experienced a soup shop to be out of broth. I'll label it as an outlier. Would recommend otherwise.

My husband helped grab some banh mi's here to go so we can have a quick lunch. They have a variety of different things on the menu here and there are some banh mis that have a buy 2 get 1 free offer (which is a pretty good deal), however, there are a number of banh mis that are on the special menu that aren't included in this promotion (making it an okay deal). We ordered the teriyaki chicken and the steak banh mis, which were both on the special menu. From both of these sandwiches, I'd say that the steak one was the better one as I felt like the teriyaki chicken one was a little on the plain side. The meat to veggie to bread ratio wasn't the best here and I felt like they skimped on the meat a bit. Overall, I'd still say that it's an enjoyable sandwich and a solid option for a quick meal, but not the best banh mi I've had by any means.

There is so many items to try they have drinks, entrees, sandwiches, dessert and other to go items displayed at the counter. Ordered1. Teriyaki Chicken sandwich -the fillings on the side for the picky eater. 2. B3 - Ham, Meatloaf and Headcheese sandwich 3. B10- Chicken curry which with a French bread. 4. Rainbow Jello Milk tea and Honey green tea. Both of our sandwiches were delicious and crunchy. The fillings inside was perfect. The curry chicken flavor was good but not the best. The chickens pieces we got was so so and were perfectly soft to eat. The service was wonderful and affordable. They have both inside and outside dining. You can also order outside at the parking lot thru the speaker, but it only for one car at a time. There is no drive through.

Forgive this picture because it doesn't do the fresh bread or fresh bbq pork justice.The arbys that used to be here got upgraded to a lovely banh mi shop. I loved the comfortable yet homey vibes of the shop, with some cooked rice dishes in the hot tray and bottled juices in the fridge.With a buy 2 get 1 free deal, you basically get 3 banh mi for around $15 which is pretty decent. There were about three people behind the counter, one who took our order and two splitting effort of making the noodle soups vs the banh mis.And man... was that food fresh !We waited maybe 20 mins for our 3 bbq pork banh mis, but that's a major green flag to show their freshness. The baguette was crisp, chewy, and so warm. You could tell they just came out. The meat was tender and seasoned really well, packed densely into the bread. I enjoyed seeing other customers dining in and ordering their noodle soups. This place feels so comforting and straightforward, a nice, simplicity of a wonderful cuisine. Will be back !

Love the food, and drinks. I go here every other week. The food tastes almost homemade and my children love it. Perfect for any weather and isn't pricey at all. Love it here.
