Blu Moon Cafe

I went December 4, 2024 because I thought it looked like a neat place to grab a something to eat! It's located inside the Wholesome Choice Supermarket, so don't let that confuse you! That being said, here are my positives!- the food is super good and if solely ranking on food, it'd be a five! I got: avocado toast, the blu's clues smoothie, and the sun & moon crepe- though not fitting the typical Southern California "aesthetic," the food put a smile on my face. - the toast was crunchy, and the avocado and subsequent toppings (greens and cheese) was well put together, tasting very good.- the Blu's Clues is what you'd expect out of a superfood label, but it's the best-tasting one I've had in a while- the crepe was one of the better crepes I've had, not undercooked and well topped. Considering its subpar location, the food punches WELL above its weight. Here are the downsides, though:- inside a supermarket, doesn't really fit a cafe type of vibe, maybe more of an airport lounge feel- there was only one worker so the service was slower paced than what I expected for the environment of the cafe, but nothing out of sorts- since it's in a supermarket it was a little loud, with little seating inside (though plenty outside)- no silverware, only plastic and paper napkins. no plates either, solely to go boxes.- I was also sad that they were out of the superfood açaí bowl as I wanted to try it, but no harm no foulMind you, all of this can be fixed by moving to a different location, preferably its own and not in a supermarket. I hope this Cafe is able to be successful enough to be able to get to that point. I highly recommend it for the cheap and homey food it offers, especially when you're surrounded by the fancy, expensive, and overbearing food of SoCal. Sometimes it's good to stick to the basics, and they've really nailed it.

when we got there, there was no one there. The food was very good and fattening and it didn't say it would come with ice cream and whipped cream. It was really good and also their savory crêpes are on the list. Really good recommend to come here.

Blu moon cafe is my go to for crepes , coffee and acai smoothies .... The taste is consistently fab! Kevin is very warm and welcoming!! Love it !!

Everything here is so good I love all the fresh juices and iced coffee !!! And the worker is so nice and friendly with everyone :) also the place is always so clean and organized you can see when he makes the food infront of you .
