Birria & Consomé

Birria & Consome was found by mistake, using UberEats, and forgetting change back from deliver to pickup. This place is a hidden gem.  You'll find better tacos here than you would in a lot of sit down restaurants.First off, no one driving by would ever find this place.  It's not a restaurant.  It's in an industrial area, and in the very back of other buildings and back parking lot.  There are no signs on the street.  I was only able to find this place here on Yelp and it's mostly catered for Uber Eats or catering truck businesses.  You walk into the place and there is no person to help you.  There are iPads for you to find your order and when it's ready and you check in, a locker door on the side will open up and your order will be there waiting for you.  There is a customer service window on the side but you never see anyone there.  When you look through you just see a warehouse and sometimes robots driving around, carrying food. It's pretty interesting and I'm a fan -- bookmarked for future in person visits. It's an oddity but welcome experience.This place has some of the tastiest tacos I've ever had.  From seeing other out of place patrons, like me, I can tell came upon a "local secret"!! I like the asada and al pastor.  They're very flavorful, come with some vegetables on the side, and I pick the habanero sauce.  It's actually pretty spicy so another win!!!

Cheesy tacos with consomme are delicious! Beans and rice are really good. Shrimp tacos and quesadilla are really good, too. This is our Doordash go-to!!

What a scam! I ordered from this place on Uber and was provided an old meal. The beans were cold and crunchy, the rice was burnt and the horchata taste like pineapple yogurt. The best things on the plate were the tacos and the meat fell right through the greasy tortillas. I contacted the store and spoke via text to the owner who agreed to reimburse me for the horchata being old and also for the missing cheesecake that I ordered. It's been two weeks and no reimbursement. I've contacted the owner five times and no response. Would never eat here again.

I rarely order ubereats for myself but I was craving something birria, so I got the quesadilla and two adobada tacos. I also ordered ahead so the food would be ready by the time I got there. The store location made it really easy to pick up my order n go.

I ordered pozole, menudo,a breakfast burrito, chocolate cake and a Jamaica. None of it was good. Look at the color of the broth will never order from here again.

The tacos were some of the best I have had! I absolutely loved the food and was happy with all of sides I received. I had UBER eats deliver and nothing was forgotten. Thank you! Service was quicker than expected as well.

Took forever. Food was luke warm and not tasty to say the least. Definitely won't recommend.

Service isn't good and takes forever. I understand it's a ghost kitchen, but putting soup on its side as packaged is messed up, and I've ordered tacos before, and the meat was on the outside of the shell. I have also requested two sets of utensils and got 1 single spoon. It's unfortunate because I do like the menudo. But there's better places out there that I'll be ordering from instead now.

Pretty good. We ordered the birria ramen and the tacos combo. The only thing I would suggest with the ramen is to offer onions, cilantro and lime on the side and a little less meat. We did order take out so maybe in the restaurant this is on the side
