The vibes of this place are perfect for studying. They have ramen for late night study sessions, tteokbokki, and yummy treats :) . We tried the red bean, nutella, and ham & cheese taiyaki and all of them were "melt in your mouth" good. Definitely recommend as a study snack The matcha bingsu has been criticized in the past but they changed it recently by adding an extra layer of matcha in the middle w/ a side of condensed milk and the matcha also has been changed to not have a too overpowering taste. The injeolmi toast is a new upcoming menu item and we loved it! Not too sweet, has a nice chewy "mochi" like feel, and the presentation was good before we destroyed it And the service was really friendly. Definitely will come back !

Such a comfortable place to study and enjoy some yummy Korean treats. We tried the hot squash tea (tasted like warm cereal but was surprisingly comforting), peach smoothie, 3 taiyakis (ham and cheese, red bean, and nutella), matcha bingsu, and injeolmi toast (which was a new menu item the owner let us try!)Very pleasant and kind staff. You can tell a lot of care is placed in authenticity and quality of the ingredients. Overall will make sure to come again!

Bingsu is like shaved ice but shaved milk instead. It goes well with fruit and the strawberry Bingsu was my favorite! There's also a few different flavors of Taiyaki and my favorite one was the nutella one. There's also servers are very friendly and it's also located next to a lot of food places, so it makes a great after meal dessert! There a good amount of seating and a ramen station in the store.

Pretty decent place for dessert. There isn't much depth or flavor, but the syrups and toppings help a bit, especially for the mango. The shaved ice is very fluffy and soft. The matcha one was kind of disappointing because it was just matcha powder sprinkled on the top, and not actually matcha flavored ice. It isn't the best I've ever had, but still good.

I'm in LOVE! When I got the alert that a new bingsu spot opened close by I knew it was a must. My son absolutely loves bingsu! It was a nice surprise walking in and seeing that they also offer taiyaki, croffle, ramen and boba drinks!!!Binga Boonga is in a plaza right off the freeway - there's plenty of parking so it shouldn't be an issue. The vibe is super welcoming! There's plenty of tables inside and so we were able to order and sit comfortably right away. We appreciate that there was a TV as the kids got hooked on the show that was playing. Ordering was super simple, customer service was great - easy to talk to, he even offered to make the taiyaki later so that it would keep warm, nice vibes! We ordered the single mango bingsu, nutella and custard taiyaki and the matcha bingsu. Serving size is great, everything hit the spot! I would definitely recommend!

ORDERmatcha bingsoo (2/5)it originally comes with red bean as the topping, but we were able to replace it with our desired toppings. many places refuse to replace the red bean, so this was a plus! we opted for half strawberry and half mango instead of the red bean, which paired perfectly. as for the shave ice, the texture looked good, but i think due to the amount of matcha powder they use in the snow mixture, it melted into "thickened water". after every bite, my mouth felt like i just ate a spoonful of powder. the sprinkle of matcha powder on top did not help and was honestly not needed. the mixture definitely needs less matcha powder and more sugar. it felt like a chore to eat.the perfect solution was adding condensed milk, which the lady was so kind to bring to us. the condensed milk helped A LOT, it was exactly what the bingsoo needed. (+1 star)i do think the owner takes advice given from reviews, as the previous matcha bingsoo had milk snow and now the snow itself is matcha flavored. i'd respectfully suggest to replace the matcha powder sprinkled on top with a drizzle of condensed milk instead. overall, i definitely see the potential of this place.SERVICE service is definitely one the reasons why i'd love to come back! they're very welcoming and accommodating. AMBIANCE they open late and have plenty of seats inside.

There's o-FISH-ally a Korean cafe in Lake Forest now! So excited about the newly opened @binga.boonga , which specializes in Korean style desserts such as their delicate snowflake bingsu, freshly prepared taiyaki and cafe drinks such as their yummy injeolmi latte. Everything was surprisingly well made (since they are a brand new cafe), and very comparable to the quality and authentic ingredients that are used in Korean cafes in LA Koreatown. They also have a self-cooking Korean ramen machine, which cooks the ramen of your choice in under 5 minutes. If you're in the area, definitely check out this rare gem of a Korean cafe in South OC, and support a small, Asian owned business! New Korean bingsu ( shaved ice ) place in lake forest! Their taiyaki is yummy, crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and you can choose different flavors such as red bean, cheese, Nutella, etc. For their bingsu, it's creamy and soft, food to share. They also have an instant ramen station which is cool. It's a good spot to hang out with friends and eat some desserts! Staff are friendly and will answer your questions!

Had time to kill for traffic to subside, and wanted tea and a light dessert. Saw this interesting place and thought whatever it was they were serving must be a thing, called bingsu and taiyaki. The sweet young lady educated me and omg, what a beautiful discovery. I enjoyed a delicious cup of ginger and honey tea, and a toasty and melty Nutella taiyaki, which looked bigger than the picture. So, I took the other 4 home as well as a cold-pack serving of melon bingsu that was AHHMAAZZZZINGGG!! It took me several days to finish, as did the taiyaki and learned how to reheat and toast them to near perfection. They even had a cool self-serve ramen bar. I cannot wait for my next visit. Thank you and I wish your business much success!!
