A great casual spot with delicious food!We always come back for the Tom Kha--it's absolutely fantastic! The flavors are rich and perfectly balanced, making it a must-try if you're visiting. We've also had the Crab Fried Rice, which is equally amazing. The crab is fresh, and the dish is full of flavor without being too heavy. The menu has so many tempting options, and we're excited to explore more dishes on future visits. This place is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!

Great location close to the freeway. Plenty of parking.Everything was good but the stars of the show were the noodles. The pad thai and pad se ewe were some of the best I've had in a long time. The tom yum soup was a little watery. The chicken satay looked good was cooked well but was just ok... not sure exactly why. The yellow curry was good. A little odd but you have to order rice separately, the yellow curry does not come with rice. The papaya salad was good. The mango sticky rice was pretty good. When they say medium spicy it's not spicy at all. Probably perfect for most people.Wanna come back and try the other noodle dishes. Also the krapow looked really good at the other table....

Love that this plaza has plenty of parking to offer. It was not packed at all and super cute interior. They did not have chili oil but their chili sauce was delicious. We ordered from both lunch special and regular entrees and were honestly happy with everything! The food had great flavor and the prices were great! Lunch specials are from 12-3 I think and it's something I would not miss out on. Totally worth it! The most surprising dish was their house soup. It was free of charge with the lunch special and it was DELICIOUS! The broth had plenty of flavor and I was savoring every slurp! Wish I would have ordered dessert! Til next time

Nice staff and friendly service. The portions are good for the price. However I just found the food lacks in flavor, seasoning, and aroma. Doesn't quite have the 'wok hay' you'd expect from good stir fry. The rice for the fried rice was a little too fresh to be used so ended up being too moist.

Ok I met this Thai guy and he said there's a good Thai place in Lake Forest so I went here and it did not disappoint. Crispy pork was good and the tom yum soup. I'm excited to go back!

This is a whole in a wall type of place. It's located in a mall that's a bit run down, but don't let its appearance scare you away. This is one of the most authentic Thai places in OC. I shared this Thai place with my sister in-law and she would drive 30 minutes here to get the food. My go to here is crispy pork (if you're getting delivery or to go, get the crispy pork on the side so it doesn't get soggy), pad see yu, panan curry. All these dishes are just incredibly fresh and delicious. Every time I crave for Thai, this is the place I come to.

We ordered to go papaya salad, pork jerky, crying tiger. Spicy level 3/4. And a sweet rice and mango. The papaya salad was bland, had a lot of whole green beans (????), not spicy at all, and there was a whole bird chilli in it (they forgot to mash the chili and the green beans when making our salad?). Pork jerky was very good. Crying tiger was not good nor bad. NOTHING was spicy even though we said spicy level 3 out of 4. Sweet rice was good.Price was high for what we got. Overall...this restaurant is off my list.

Pretty good Thai food! It's been a minute since I've gone out for Thai, and I was glad I randomly picked this place. I work so close to this place and surprisingly haven't come across it. It's definitely not easily spotted on any of the main streets and is in what looks to be a somewhat dead strip mall, or at least that's how it looked when I went during dinner time.My girlfriend and I came here a few hours before closing, hoping there wouldn't be a wait. Luckily there wasn't! There was only about 3 parties dining in.When you walk in you'll see some nice lighting along the left wall and a fairly clean restaurant. We got seated, ordered some hot tea (it's cold nowadays!), and took a look at the menu. The menu has a lot of items, like appetizers, rice dishes, and more. I went ahead and ordered the Pad Thai Combo, my girlfriend got the Pad See Ew, and we got the Mango Sticky Rice to finish it off.In case you're wondering how the food was:- Pad Thai Combo: Delicious, and a hefty portion. The combo has pork, shrimp, and beef. The menu doesn't say that you can choose a spice level for this dish, so I specifically requested it to be very spicy. It was perfect. - Pad See Ew: My girlfriend liked it, and I also tried it (and helped her finish it). She got it with pork. The pork was cooked well done and the noodles al dente. I'm not a fan of this dish in general anywhere, but I can say it was pretty good.- Mango Sticky Rice: Ripe mango and sticky rice, incredible. I feel like the rice to mango ratio was just right for me :D.Service was good. The server was friendly and we were greeted when we entered as well as when we left. There's plenty of parking. There are neighboring businesses but many are vacant.Give this place a try!

I've eaten at Bhan Baitaong a few times, although that was some years back. Generally happy every time. Not so with my Uber delivery tonight. What happened!?Pad Thai: no tamarind flavor and no peanuts at all. Bland pile of noodles. 1/5Spring rolls: three rolls without the dipping sauce were loose lettuce and green onion flavored rolls. Not good. 1/5.Pork fried rice: pretty tasty. 3/5Egg rolls: crunchy and hot but not very tasty. 2/5.Papaya salad: like a bland Cole slaw. What the heck?! I know they do better! 1/5. Green bean and chicken: amazingly bland! Just awful. 1/5I don't get it. They've had really good food before. Tonight was awful.
