Small & quaint farmers market but they have kefir which is what I went there for. The kefir is great & the merchant is super nice. I'll come back for that specifically. Also tried the Pupusas stand, those were mediocre and expensive.

LOVE Old Town Bakery and the produce!!! Highly recommend checking it out!! Relatively inexpensive considering the great quality of the food! Just remember that the produce takes cash only!

I didn't read to see why the bad reviews but I went here for the first time and quite enjoyed myself. There was one long side of fruits of veggies and then the rest was food stands, drink stands, and shops with various items. They has churros, boba, agua fresca and dumplings. The dumplings were delicious!! It's small but cute. I went in with low expectations and so I was surprisingly satisfied. It all depends what food stands they have for the day probably since that's what I go there for.

11/29/21 Located in the heart of Bellfower, this market opens every Monday from 9am-1pm. Since it's at Sim's Park parking lot, there's plenty of spaces to park your bucket of bolts.Sure, it's teeny tiny compared to Torrance or Cerritos fmr mkts but it has its small town charm. Not much variety since there's barely 10 vendors on site & even less on post holiday times, like today. Ran out of onions from making our feast, passed by to pick up some. I could get it at Sprouts where I usually go for produce but I like patronizing small businesses owners/farmers when chance permits. The vendors are friendly, one of them calling out what he's selling as I walk closer to his stall. The park where it's situated is very well maintained, it's clean & boasts a baseball diamond with bleachers, a pretty expansive playground for children, b-ball courts & outdoor gym equipment (which Cerritos Liberty park does not have) and plenty of seating areas to picnic & a venue to hold a small gathering outdoors for atleast 20-30 ppl. I suppose it should be a separate review for the park itself. You can shop & enjoy the park at the same time!Overall it's a decent farmers' market. Oh and don't forget the bread vendor! Before Covid, it was like a free for all, I risked life & limb as the customers dove to get their weekly bread rations. i like the set up now that each person gets a turn & nit lose lose an eye shopping for bread. it ain't pretty y'all.I'd recommend this place. Go get some fresh hot tamales too while you're at it or hit roasted peanuts!

The market is quite small 10-15 if that of a walk around the whole farmers market. There are great vegetables that look fresh and fruits as well. The market is small and there are a few stands for material shopping and food. Hope it builds up.

Bellflower Farmer's Market is a very small farmer's market opened only on Mondays. This farmer's market is located at the Simm's Park parking lot and is open from 9AM-1PM. There are only about 10 vendors here and most of them sell produce. I noticed that a lot of the veggies, especially the ones that are sold at a cheaper price are badly bruised and a bit wrinkly. These produce are still good to eat, but I would recommend to cook them the same day you buy them because they will definitely get moldy the next day. My favorite vendor here is the honey vendor. I usually get the flavored honey sticks because they are very cheap (4 sticks for $1) and tasty. A popular vendor here is the Old Town Baking Co. I know that they also sell their breads at the Lakewood and Cerritos Farmer's Market and are marked a higher price. However, it is only sold at $1-$2 in Bellflower because it seems to be the leftover breads from the Saturday Farmer's Market. I have tried this bread and I probably would not buy from them again because the last time I bought their blueberry bread, it tasted sour and spoiled. So I would probably just go a regular grocery store and pay an extra dollar for a fresh bread. The one thing I really come here for is the berries. The berries are very sweet and are usually sold for 3 for $10. Although it is more expensive than buying berries at the grocery store, the quality is definitely better. The only cooked food sold here is tamales, which are priced for $3 each. I have never tried their tamales, but I probably would never buy because it is too expensive. It would probably be better to go to a Mexican grocery store that sells freshly cooked tamales.Overall, I had an okay experience at this farmer's market. I would really only come here for the berries and the honey, but I would not frequent this farmer's market because it is not worth it.
