Tried Bella Roma for lunch the other day with a friend. We did a take out of the Mamma Mia pasta (chicken, artichokes in a creamy red sauce pasta) and the chicken pesto pizza. As others wrote, portions are large and was enough to feed three hungry people. Price is quite fair. I was surprised that there were only two high schoolers there when we picked up our order but can tell they support the local high school with all the photos on the wall. The food came out hot and was tasty. The pasta included garlic bread and a salad. The pesto pizza was very attractive with thin crust pizza. I would say price is reasonable but minimal amounts of precooked chicken in each order probably helps keep the preparation cost down. Overall it was very good and service was excellent. Yes, this would be a filling lunch and I would be willing to try some other dishes. Would this be my place for go to authentic Italian food?? Probably not, but I would certainly choose this over any fast food restaurant, Buca di Peppo or Olive Garden.

Pizza! That's the answer to what to have this afternoon. Let's try a "never been there" place. Bella Roma about 6 miles away wasn't exactly convenient, but... overall it received good reviews. We got a parking space right up front and we were happy to see the sloping ramp up to the entry door level. The door was wide open and a Mr. Nguyen sat us near that open door. Wow nice looking menus, but this place needs a big updating... a giant makeover of decor and walls remnants perhaps from the original owners of years 2007. Some of the pictures on the wall are testament that Bella Roma supports Edison High School nearby. We looked over the menus and saw the pizzas. The lovely missus has her favorite..Hawaiian Delight pineapple and Canadian bacon. I'll do an All Meat Lovers that is topped with Pepperoni, bits of sausage. Canadian bacon and sliced meatballs on the Mozzarella white cheese. Kids came in and out and the door is wide open..I got up to close it and immediately it was warmer inside. I also ordered a small Ceasar salad and for drinks we were served two pink lemonades from the soda fountain. The pizzas came piping hot and thin crust in the center with a thicker handformed crusty and chewy edge. Both pies on the table and we made a comment almost at the same time..where is the pizza sauce? It was there, but it was a very thin tomato based layer that was obscure. We asked for a box as both pizzas had plenty of leftover. I had also ordered a homestyle Meat Lasagna to take home and it was now ready. Later at home I find the Lasagna nicely prepared with a side of garlic bread, but it was really missing that wow exclamation point. We paid our tab and thanked the owner of Bella Roma for his service.

Delicious and such a casual and cozy place for to satisfy our Italian cravings. The Pizza tastes just like how we used to much down after a long day of playing sports. And best of all, they usually close later than most other similar Italian joints.Mario, the owner is the best!

Bella Roma is a decent hole in the wall restaurant serving simple Italian food. They have pizzas and a good amount of pasta options to choose from. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get and they have a cheap 2 slice combo you can order for a quick lunch!I usually go for their pastas which are made to order and most recently, I got the fettuccine carbonara which was good! It's not the best I've ever had but it was still tasty. The pasta was not overcooked and the sauce was nice and creamy. You also get 2 slices of garlic bread which is a nice touch and you can dip it into your sauce!Service here is okay and I do think they need to hire more staff because they can get easily overwhelmed if there's a lot of people coming in. When I went recently for lunch, there was only 1 person working and she was making all the orders by herself but the Mario, the owner, did eventually show up to help. She apologized for the wait and so did Mario and he did his best to ensure our food was delicious which shows that they do care about their customers. I would still give this place a recommendation as it is one of the few hole in the wall pizza spots in the area that has a wide pasta menu and it is worth going for lunch if you want something on the go or quick!

It was my first time here and the food was amazing! There were a few highschoolers eating here when we got here too. The restaurant sponsors and supports the local high school sport teams and are a decorated restaurant veteran in the area! It's a small shop, but with great quality food for a fair price! Definitely cheaper than other Italian restaurants. The manager/owner/cashier was very kind and nice. He gave me a free bottled water when I was looking for a water cup. In this economy, that's a yes in my book! He moved us to a bigger table, too, even though we only ordered three things: the Tuscany chicken pasta, Gnocchi with meat sauce, and the garlic cheese bread. He said the proportions are pretty big so he suggested we move to a bigger table. He was right though! I couldn't finish my meal. It was really good too! Would definitely come again.

To begin, I searched best pizza places near me that delivered in person, not through an app. We also wanted to include pasta. After researching the top 10 in the area, Bella Roma came out as our choice. I was surprised to see that they only had 3.5 stars on Yelp!We ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and red onion pizza with extra garlic.We also ordered the fettuccine carbonara, extra saucy!First, I called to make sure they were a direct delivery from the restaurant, which is always a plus. We ordered and were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour, and it was approximately 45 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and communicative. Our food was delivered, hot and fresh.The pizza was amazing and let's just say the fettuccine was to die for and I'm glad we went with the extra sauce. I was super surprised at how affordable it was and we will definitely be ordering again and again and again. Family-owned and personal delivery is a must for me.

This is my new favorite pizza place. The veggie pizza is my favorite with the garlic knots. I like that they keep their recipes simple and balanced so you can taste all the flavors and it's not greasy. I don't feel guilty or tired after eating here because they don't drench their food in oils and butter. The man who works there is always very kind and works really hard. Their prices are fair and everything is well proportioned. I definitely recommend this place for its delicious, non-greasy food and friendly service!

I am always created by the cheerful hard-working man - I think he's the owner. The pizza is shockingly good and has become my regular place. Kudos Bella Roma! it can be crowded with highschoolers depending on your timing (lunchtime and after school, so try to time it right). There's a huge menu so something for everyone.
